Anybody fancy losing a stone and a half by Easter?

I have just weighed myself and the results were hideous. I need to start taking some steps to shift some pounds - the first one being moving away from the Christmas chocolates. Does anybody fancy joining me?
It is 16 weeks until Good Friday so losing a stone and a half is very doable. I am a ww monthly pass member but haven't attended meetings regularly or followed the plan properly since the Summer Blush
Please come and motivate me.

I haven't weighed myself (much too scared) my plan is to weigh myself in kilos tomorrow and track my weight that way. If I've lost a bit by February I will start weighing in stones as I know where I am there

I intend doing the shred and walking. May rejoin a gym in feb/march depending on what's happening!

Just been for my first 5k run of 2014 :) didn't hurt as much as I thought it might given that I haven't been for about three weeks!

Can I join please? I'm not sure what I'm going to do diet wise yet, I feel like I've spent the last year trying everything, driving myself mad figuring out the 'right' diet. I've only ended up at my heaviest ever :( Put on 4 stone with both pregnancies, lost it after DS1 but still 1.5st over after DD, now nearly 4 Blush . I've been stuck maintaining around the same weight since she was around 1 yr, and have just gone up a few pounds. Hoping giving and receiving support on this thread will help. I already do quite a lot of exercise. Need to eat more mindfully, and not taste so much whilst cooking!

I would like to join in too please if I'm not too late. I had a baby four months ago and put on a lot while pregnant. I would love to lose 21 lbs by Easter. In total Id like to lose 2.5 stones.

okay sanity check needed please!

I have had a horrible headache for the last 3 days now. Is it possible that this is due to sugar withdrawal?

Hi Icebeing - sorry to hear about the headache! What have you cut out in the last few days? Have you cut back on anything else, like caffeine, as well? But to answer your question, yes, cutting down on refined sugar, carbs, caffeine etc can all result in headaches in the short term, but a marked improvement in the long term... Doesn't help much though when you need that extra will power to get started and not give in! Are you drinking plenty of water?

some I guess both my salt and sugar intake has likely crashed. Sadly more than my actual calorie intake Hmm

Having said that I have lost 2 pounds and sunday will be my weigh in day so that is 10 st 6 for me and counting....

I weighed myself today in preparation for starting tomorrow. The good news is I have already lost 4lbs as I was poorly over the hols so I am not expecting a super big weight loss this week.

I will stay strong and avoid biscuits ect at work and will check back next week with an update.

Can I join please?
I started my diet last Monday. Well, it's less a diet, more just stopping eating and drinking like Henry VIII. Not following 5:2 or anything structured, just aiming for better portion control, and minimal booze (only drinking when out).

I was 12 stone 0 last Monday Sad, which is equal to my biggest non-pg weight. I"d like to be 10stone 0 by the time I go on holiday in May.

I am re-doing couch to 5k as well. I've previously completed this, so hope I can get up to 5k in 6-8 weeks.

I have really cut back on my intake these last two days and had a killer headache this afternoon...maybe it's the withdrawal

My first fast day tomorrow, in the past I have just not eaten for two days (panicking about getting on the scales at weigh in Grin) but I'm going to try and do this properly!

Did the shred yesterday, but not today (I figure that the 30 days in a row is more like a guideline)

I had a pub lunch today but just had salad for dinner so hoping it will all even out! Plus I swerved the sticky toffee pudding and had fruit salad instead. Legs aching from yesterday's run...

I start properly tmrw. Hoping for a good loss in the first week. An hoping to cut out sugar completely and know that I will be feeling v ill as every time I've cut out sugar I feel such and headachy. Wish me luck. I want to loses stone through CC and running and then want to lose the last half stone by 5:2. Fingers crossed. Trying to stay upbeat even though am feeling quite low. Will report first weigh in results next sun.

I will join you on a Monday weigh in as doing it on Sunday gave me far too long to contemplate cheeky snacks.

So:

Current weight 10 st 5
Total loss: 3 pounds
