Anybody fancy losing a stone and a half by Easter?

I have just weighed myself and the results were hideous. I need to start taking some steps to shift some pounds - the first one being moving away from the Christmas chocolates. Does anybody fancy joining me?
It is 16 weeks until Good Friday so losing a stone and a half is very doable. I am a ww monthly pass member but haven't attended meetings regularly or followed the plan properly since the Summer Blush
Please come and motivate me.

Teaat3

I've just seen the 10 -even if it's only slightly below the 11 stone mark.
It's so lovely .Grin

If I can do it so can you. [ cheering for Tea is heard ]. Come on onwards and downwards Smile.

1 peanut is 11 calories!!!!!!!!!!

A pound down today which I am chuffed with as I was not very good this week and I am now in the 11's!!!!

Yay me

I am out tonight at a party and I am going to be really good from tomorrow

Unfortunately I am in London and at my dads for the whole of half term so I am going to find that a bit difficult. I think what I am going to have to do is only eat half of everything, I do this sometimes but the waste of money grates!!

Well done to everyone!

LilyJoAndMe · 08/02/2014 22:56

Amazing about the peanuts Rufus eh !
Hope your party goes well.

RufusTheReindeer · 09/02/2014 10:37

lily I had to lie down in a dark room after that peanut information!!!!!!

LilyJoAndMe · 09/02/2014 14:25

OMG Rufus I'm so sorry to be the bearer of such bad news .

Prepare yourself ...

Apparently 1lb is about 3500 calories - so that is just 318 of the pesky little blighters !Shock

RufusTheReindeer · 09/02/2014 17:23

lily that is just a generous handful!!!!

See, I knew there was no God!!

LilyJoAndMe · 09/02/2014 18:05

Hihi

Teaat3Ten · 09/02/2014 22:25

Thanks for the cheering lily really need to see that 10 stone something, it has been a while-a sneaky peak showed 11st 0.25lbs today so hoping for the magic number tomorrow.(but have just eaten a huge roast!)

11 cals a peanut!!! that is shocking,no more sneaky handfulls for me!

Well done Rufus on reaching the 11's hope the party went well.

Hope everyone has a good week.

RufusTheReindeer · 09/02/2014 22:35

Party went well thanks

Partly because it was buffet food in a dark room and as a vegetarian I don't eat things I can't see (just in case I accidentally eat something I shouldn't)

So everyone thought I was being really good and kept congratulating me on my will power when really I couldn't see what I was eating!!

I could see the wine though Grin

LilyJoAndMe · 10/02/2014 06:29

So does that mean that you've found that God works in mysterious ways Rufus ?
In the meantime, well done for your non scale victory Smile.

LilyJoAndMe · 10/02/2014 06:32

Come on Tea ( cheering along and dancing in rara skirt )! You can do it. You're nearing number 10.

Batbear · 10/02/2014 11:46

tea I hope to be a magic 10st something this week!
Having had a fall off the healthy eating at my folk (fish ad chips are good for metabolism right?!) I am back on the shred and the water today.

I've got 2 weeks until DC2s christening so toning is in order...

rufus hope you enjoyed the wine at least!

LilyJoAndMe · 10/02/2014 12:00

We're with you all the way Batbear.
Grin Grin Grin

Teaat3Ten · 10/02/2014 16:32

Thanks to all the cheering and encouragement, I've done it!!!! Only just mind you 10st 13 and 3/4 lbs. So made my target of 10 something, my next mini target is 10st 9lbs.
Well done Rufus on avoiding all the party food.

BatbearI'm rooting for you, hope you too get to see that 10 on the scales.

RufusTheReindeer · 10/02/2014 19:05

tea I think it was down to lily and her ra ra skirt!

Well done you!

RufusTheReindeer · 10/02/2014 19:06

Thanks batbear I did enjoy the wine! tho I think my tolerance has gone down Blush

Wasn't very good yesterday and today but back on track tonight!!!

Go me!

Batbear · 11/02/2014 22:39

Great stuff tea! I have done the shred both days so far this week so need to carry on!

Have bought our valentines dinner for Friday (M&S special). I'm donating the chocolates to SIL who is having DS1, but will need to exercise like mad to afford the billion calories I will consume but I will enjoy each one

Bakingnovice · 12/02/2014 17:41

Well done everyone.

Rufus what diet are you doing? I'm impressed with your losses. I'm doing fasting now and last week lost nothing but 2 off the week before. Last week was TOM so I'm ok with it. Hoping for at least 1lb off this week to take me to 11lb loss. It's so tempting to eat comfort food when the weather is this bad! Still haven't exercised, need to work on that.

Batbear · 13/02/2014 15:52

4 days of exercise in a row completed! Tomorrow I'll exercise again and have a small breakfast and lunch before my delicious steak dinner tomorrow night!

Hope everyone has survived the storms

Bakingnovice · 14/02/2014 07:32

Where is everyone? Hope you are all doing ok. I've list another 2lb this week. Total loss now 12lb.

I think 5:2 might actually be working for me this time?! It's never worked before. Maybe the not exercising is the key here? Or maybe I've got a weight loss illness with no other side effects? Whatever is going on I hope it continues. Hoping for 1lb next week. How's everyone getting on?

Batbear · 14/02/2014 09:29

Well done baking Glad 5:2 is working for you.

2lbs down here so now 10st 12. Tonight's dinner may change that so I am glad to weigh in now and can ignore until next week (and exercise like fury!)

DS2 christening next weekend so it is all about getting toned for my dress!

LilyJoAndMe · 14/02/2014 15:06

Tea - I'm sooo glad the ra ra skirt helped . I thought I might have looked a little foolish in it but every little helps eh! Though don't forger to take the credit for your own efforts.

Baking - well done !
And well done Batbear too!

I've had a busy week at work- sorry not to have been able to check in sooner.

LilyJoAndMe · 14/02/2014 15:07

Oops - forgot to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's DaySmile.

LilyJoAndMe · 14/02/2014 15:13

Lost another 2lbs here this week.

Weighed in at 76 kilos on 2nd January.
Down to 69 kilos on 14th February.
Loss to date 7 kilos ( 15lbs or just over a stone.)
Grin

RufusTheReindeer · 14/02/2014 16:44

baking Calorie counting, which I have never done before, a bit of the 5:2 and trying to be good round carbs

Worked well for the first four weeks, wasn't very good last week and lost a pound, been really bad this week and I will be surprised to see any loss

Bad week next week as eating out everyday so it will be a bit more difficult

HOWEVER, Monday week I am going to start again, really using MFP, no chocolate or booze and sticking to the 5:2

Congratulations to everyone so far, if I have lost tomorrow I will let you know (if I haven't or I have gained I will be rocking in a corner)
