Made it to the gym after work today . 5k run, 10k bike.

Hated. Every. Bloody. Moment. Hmm. So, the conclusion of this experiment is that I cannot do exercise after work. The alternative was to come home and sit in the sunshine supping a cold glass of white so maybe that's why I was miserable Grin. However I did it and burnt 500 calories, rather than consuming 500 calories so all good in the end Smile

Next experiment is to get up early and shred. Not holding out much hope for a more enjoyable experience, but I have to try.....

Me not so much too tired too stressed, got up this am and did my 30 mins exercise but fear it just not enough. School run walks done all week so will have clocked up 18 miles by Tom, still seeing no difference so guess my body is just too used to it.

Tried on dresses for dd1 communion subday and all looked bleurgh so thinking I am just feeling sorry for myself Blush

LOTI, 18 miles and 30 mins of exercise is masses lovely. I was chuffed with my 16.5k Grin

Have you tried Pilates for toning? You know you don't need to actually lose any weight so maybe a bit of redistribution with good abs will help how you feel in the dress?

I am working on the thigh saddlebags which are right pissing me off Angry.

Hey sazz hope you managed your shred? I was up at 5.30 and did my 30 mins, now working before getting dds up for school.

Checked my measurements this am have lost an inch from each thigh tho one is still 1 inch bigger than the otherConfused

Weight still not good and manic weekend ahead full of baking for dd1

Down to 12 8 this morning thank feck. Managing to keep off wheat and keep up to 10000 steps. Went out for another walk yesterday evening, found a canalside path I'd forgotten all about, was lovely, so deffo going to keep up the walking until it's raining... and start on the next 2 stone Shock

Yes I did it LOTI!! Amazing i know. So felt really good, happy with morning exercise, but I was sweaty. Then had a shower and and dried hair and was sweaty faced again, cooked off and straightened hair and sweaty face again. Arrrrgghhh
Had to wait to put makeup on so was late to work. I normally only wash hair twice a week and it straightens so much easier and better when dry than damp.
So how do I overcome this? I think I can do early exercise but can't cope with the faff it generates before work.

Huzzah for an inch off the thighs LOTI - clearly you have sent it my way!

Oh and I was down to 10.11.5. Would love love love to have a good weekend and be down into 10.single figure on mon. Unlikely I know but I will try to keep a bit of that focus.

Ok, so I'm struggling here a bit. Looking out of the window at the beautiful sunshine, all I can thing about is getting home from work and kicking back with a cold beer or glass of vino. But that will lead down a slippery slope.

I need to stay focused tonight to set the tone for the weekend. Am thinking of G&(S)T for that 'thank fuck it's Friday' and then move onto dinehing more virtuous. How can I make myself do it. I KNOW I will feel far better in the morning if I do, but Gah!, it's SOoooooo hard

I wish I could inspire you sazz but thinking the same thing. Work is manic and have to prep all day tom for E's communion Sunday. Will be up at the lark both days.

Only think is how long is this nice weather going to last?? So many a cheeky one or two tonight to help with that Friday feeling??

Still no sense of taste or smell so will try and use it to my advantage.
However I bought some delicious (but healthy) BBQ stuff and was going to make tasty salads to accompany and it will be wasted on me - might as well have just bought burgers and sausages and burger baps Sad

I also abstained from alcohol last night Smile up the crack of dawn this am and did my 30 minutes of exercises including leg lifts which nearly killed me!

A day of baking, prepping and hairdressers with the dds in preparation of tomorrow god help me Wink

Down to 12.5 this morning (weighed myself at the kids swimming lesson) . Not sure this is due to only wearing a swimming costume or the week of vegetables I have just eaten. Hoping it is the vegetables.

My problem is that I will now think "Oh that's OK then ..." and start eating cake again.

LOTI - is that her first communion? how lovely if so. Hope you have a lovely weekend.

1/2 stone is bloody amazing DrG - I expect there might be a bit of a different time/clothes/scales influence but clearly some actual loss too, so well done on the veg.

Did ok till sat evening and then had 24 hours which should be best forgotten. I did an 8k bike ride on Sunday but it could hardly be described as 'strenuous' Grin

DO spilled some water on my laptop, think it's died Sadand for some reason my phone hates mn sso can't see your posts properly to reply Blush anyway managing to keep to the no wheat (despite going to a bbq on saturday) and 10k steps each day. Was up 5 this morning though... hoping a good few days will sort that out!

Oh no Fjorny - I hope you can rescue it. I recommend sheets of kitchen paper inside over the keyboard and then into the airing cupboard for 48 hrs. Fingers x'd!
11.0 this morning but shredded before DC awoke (DD1 came up and asked me to stop 'squeaking' her ceiling Grin). Very pleased with that and was no bother as I didn't need to sort hair for work etc.
However went to hospital re shin splints and Dr wants to do an MRI of the bone. He has banned me from impact exercise - he didn't even want to let me do the gait test on the treadmill Shock. I didn't mention the high impact exercise a few hours earlier
So, I can cycle and swim and I guess do static arm stuff but I am rather peed off as I had just got back into the exercise stride with 3 exersazz already this week. Grrrrrrrrr.
Trying to stay off a comiseratory (made up word lol) Wine tonight.

Holy crap bingo Shock not sure whether to hope it is fractured which would explain the pain, or something else undiscovered. What a bugger though when you've just rediscovered your exercise mojo. You'll just have to hop the shred Grin

I have just remembered i've only done 7000 steps and it's nearly bedtime [oops] will have to do at least 14000 tomorrow to make up for it. Keeping eating under control though and hoping to be back nearly to Friday's weight by tomorrow with 2 days to weigh in...
