Perhaps i will aim for 8 stone then. I'm not that unhappy with my weight, i'd just like to effortlessly do my size 10's up, not have to breath in and go blue in the face
I need to get some proper scales though, mine are cheap crappy ones.

marthamoo · 05/04/2004 10:12

Only lost a pound this week, but I think I should be quite pleased with that after my 47 point meal out!

Demented · 05/04/2004 14:12

Does anyone know how many points would be in a carton of Covent Garden Soup, tomato, aubergine and red pepper. Would this be 0 points the same as homemade veg soup? Trying to be very good tonight in view of going 11 points over yesterday.

CountessDracula · 05/04/2004 14:14

demented how much saturated fat and cals? I will look online for you

Demented · 05/04/2004 14:39

Thanks CD!

Per 100g

Saturated Fat - 0.1g
Calories - 16

Doesn't sound much, I had the whole 600g carton though. If you could look I would very much appreciate it. Thanks!

CountessDracula · 05/04/2004 14:42

1.5 demented

Good value, must get some

marthamoo · 05/04/2004 14:44

Going out for a curry tonight. and

Demented · 05/04/2004 15:04

Thanks CD you're a star, that's 6.5 in total so far today, trying to aim for 16 (I'm on 20 points), I think that should be manageable.

Enjoy your curry marthamoo.

fairydust · 05/04/2004 15:58

Just had a ww cherry bakewell and they are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nice and only 2.5 points

jasper · 05/04/2004 20:38

fairydust try ASDA smartprice cherry bakewells - same points but half the price, and just as tasty

fairydust · 05/04/2004 22:33

we don't have Asda near us

jasper · 05/04/2004 22:59

probably just as well Fairydust - they are too cheap and too tempting!

scrummy · 06/04/2004 14:22

I lost quite a lot of weight with WW - don't forget the best way to lose it and to keep it off is to do lots of exercise. This doesn't have to be in the gym - although a regular class is quite good. Take the baby/toddler out in the pushchair, do the gardening or even the housework! It seems to me that keeping active is even more important than counting every last point. Hope this helps someone lose a bit.

CountessDracula · 06/04/2004 14:30

Good tip for sausage lovers - waitrose extra lean pork sausages (8 in a pack so big ones not those skinny jobs) are only 1.5 points each and they taste pretty good

CountessDracula · 06/04/2004 14:31

BTW coddy I think 1.5 points for a jam tart is pretty good, may go and buy one!

fairydust · 06/04/2004 15:18

M&S Count on us
Chocolate brownie cereal bar box of 6
1 Point a bar and they are rather nice

kittypower · 14/04/2004 09:14

Just need a bit of advice,I've been on WW for 3 weeks now, the first week i lost 3 pounds, then the 2nd I lost nothing, I am into the 3rd week now and have lost nothing again, I am doing it all right, not drinking, going to the gym and eating under my points allocation, so why do you thinkg I am not losing any weight. has this happened to any of you?

berny7 · 19/04/2004 11:41

Hi

I'm new to weightwatchers and don't know how many points to count for an alpen cereal bar? Any ideas would be much appreciated thanks

CountessDracula · 19/04/2004 11:42

Hi berny7 - the fruit and nut one is 2 pts, is that the one you mean? there are 4 types

CountessDracula · 19/04/2004 11:42

Boo hoo I had a totally crap weekend, gave up counting my points in the end.

Hulababy · 19/04/2004 11:43

Hi all - I restart the WW dieting again today so just checking in to get me started

Earlybird · 19/04/2004 12:27

Yes, I'm back to counting points too. Might have sabotaged the last 6 weeks of discipline and results with 10 days of eating whatever I wanted. I seem to either be completely on program, or completely off. Not much middle ground for me. So, here we go again! I'm determined to feel/look good in summer clothes this year.....

berny7 · 19/04/2004 12:30

hi countess dracula! thanks for that - it's the strawberry/yoghurt one.

If they're two points, that's great. Bit of a curly wurly fiend so can save half a point!!

CountessDracula · 19/04/2004 13:18

berny7 that's 2 pts too
