Randall are you using suppositries? I'd expect those to be more effective if your piles are internal...

RandallFloyd · 29/10/2013 20:17

Am I using what?? Shock

Good god woman.

BsshBossh · 29/10/2013 20:25

Grin thought that'd make your evening!

RandallFloyd · 29/10/2013 20:46
DoubleMum · 30/10/2013 11:28

Oh dear. Poor Randall.

RandallFloyd · 30/10/2013 11:37

On the plus side they must not weigh anything.
Despite some horrendous Randalling I've still stayed the same somehow.

They should be being blood grateful anyway, I'm taking them out for Ale & Pies on Friday. Grin

anotetofollowso · 30/10/2013 15:22

Mine have a bloody boring day of it I'm afraid. I've been on my piles arse all day, working at my desk. Big relief to be able to get a clear day's work in (DS has looong extra murals on a Wed, yay) as I am looking at a terrifying deadline for next Friday. But HOW DOES ONE NOT EAT EVERYTHING IN THE FRIDGE, CUPBOARD & FREEZER IF ONE IS WORKING AT HOME? As in vast amounts of Macadamia nuts on top of a hearty beef stew and there may have been some chocolate involved.

Randalling on one's own is a bit like drinking alone - not nearly as much fun.

Lizzylou · 30/10/2013 20:27

Dear God Chiefs, forgive me for I am Randalling. Like a bastard.
I have also been hoiking furniture and god knows what around. New house is lush. V happy. But no internet so am on phone. Monday normal service resumes.

OP posts:
BsshBossh · 30/10/2013 20:32

Woohoo on the house Lizzy! No wonder you are Randalling away. Me too (Randalling) but it's due to half-term-no-fixed-routine-and-no-exercise-at-all. Wondering whether to bother weighing in this week - why stress myself out (especially as half term with DD is turning out to be a very fab and very relaxed week)?

Lizzylou · 30/10/2013 21:15

Bssh, just leave it. I am. Next week exercise and diet will resume. This week am mainly eating and drinking and not bothering.
New house is fab though, bit drafty, lots of old shizz and some offensive decor. But fab.

anotetofollowso · 31/10/2013 06:11

Congrats on the lovely new house Lizzy. And Bssh glad you're having fun with your DD . To everything there is a season ...a time to weigh in and a time to enjoy ...

BsshBossh · 31/10/2013 20:39

Gave in to the lure of the scales with a sneaky, unofficial weigh-in this morning (post-eating day, post poo & wee Grin) as I am dying to see the effects of over-eating during half-term. 3 lbs gain. Official weigh-in, post-fast day is tomorrow morning. But what I found most interesting today was the fact that the weight gain didn't depress me at all. Now I'm normal weight the few lbs gain doesn't matter... and it's more than that - it's because I have the tools to bring the gains down again pronto. Constant awareness and cracking on with it are my tools against becoming overweight again.

Dinkydoos · 31/10/2013 20:56

Hello, am soooooo cold and struggling with the fast today. At least it's nearly done. Pleased all is well in the new house lizzy

Strumpetron · 31/10/2013 21:04

I went trying on dresses today and cried in the changing rooms. I've not seen my arse properly since I was thin. I didn't recognise it. I'm only 22 and feel disgusting.

Sorry I know I shouldn't feel sorry for myself just needed to vent a bit!

Hopefully I can sort it out once and for all!!

RandallFloyd · 31/10/2013 21:44

Vent away Strump, that's what the chiefs are here for.
They were all lovely and sympathetic about 'The Jeans That a Made Me Cry'!
You're on your way now, onwards and downwards. Smile

Lizzy you sound so happy, it's absolutely bloody lovely. I'm really, really pleased for you.

Bssh I love your attitude through all this. You've got such a healthy mind-set. You're an inspiration.

Fasting is hard in the cold weather Dinky, you're almost there though! well done for resisting!

Strumpetron · 31/10/2013 21:47

Thankyou Randall means a lot that! I don't like complaining to my friends coz they're all lovely and slim and don't get it

BsshBossh · 31/10/2013 21:53

Strumpe vent away, it's what we're here for. You've embarked on a new journey - stick with it and in time you'll be looking at your body with amazement or is that just big-ego me

TeaMakesItAllPossible · 31/10/2013 23:49

I'm happy to hang around your arse Randall if I get taken out for pie and ale.

Hell you can even rub cream on me!

RandallFloyd · 01/11/2013 06:34

The Mother Fucking Piles and I will be in Harkers from 5:30 Tea, come on down!

(I'm rubbing cream on nothing though. Did you know that stuff goes actually up your arse?!)

BsshBossh · 01/11/2013 07:46

Half term gain not so bad this morning - just a gain of 0.4 lbs.

anotetofollowso · 01/11/2013 11:37

Friday weigh-in was nice surprise today. 68,8 kg (151.6 lbs) - down over a kg from last week. And you know, I been haven't exercising because of my sore knee and went waaay over my calorie allowance every day this last week except for Mon and Tuesday (Halloween picnic last night ...oh dear). And I have set my daily calories at a pretty generous 1500 (I'm about 5.3' or so). I don't understand it all. There are weeks where I exercise furiously and stick more closely to the calorie allowance where I lose nothing. Is it conceivable that I am eating too little when I exercise, I wonder. Who knows. The body is a mysterious machine is all I can say. Please remind me of this week when I am stuck and frustrated in future weeks.

It's wonderful and inspiring to hear that your attitudes as well as your body changing Bssshh. Good on you.

BsshBossh · 01/11/2013 13:13

anoteto good news! I agree, weightloss is an unfathomable thing but so long as the overall, longterm trend is downwards, I'll take it :)

Dinkydoos · 01/11/2013 19:34

Well done anote! I always find I lose more if I have a week off excercise Grin. And I am a firm believer in the eat/drink loads on some days, and less on others (aka randalling)
strump , sorry to hear you we're upset, but you are dealing with it, so you know that that was the worst you will feel iykwim. It will only improve from now on! And randall is right, we all remember skinnyjeangate and now look at her!
Have a lovely weekend all.

happylass · 04/11/2013 19:28

What has happened? Where is everyone?? Not much action on MFP either.
Was AWOL myself last week though due to trekking half way around the country. Dismayed yesterday to find I'd put back on the 2lb I lost last week (though not entirely convinced I lost it in the first place, think my scales may be dodgy!) Back to work and back to watching what I'm eating today. Hoping to lose 4-5lb by Christmas. Think I need one of those Randall type buffers in time for the festive season. How's everyone else doing?

BsshBossh · 04/11/2013 19:36

Hello! I think half term occupied many of us somewhat. Fortunately I managed a couple of fasts last week which meant that inspite of overeating most days I only put 0.4 lbs on (though, scarily, did register a 3 lb gain mid-week but that was gone by official weigh-in Friday).

I've pulled a muscle/nerve in my left buttock (I think from intensifying my normal exercise routine - especially weights) so haven't been able to exercise at all for the past fortnight. But today I ventured out for a long walk in the autumnal sunshine (to warm up my poor, freezing fasting body) and felt really good. So it looks like a lighter exercise routine is on the cards this week - hurrah! No weights yet though - boo!

I have 8 lbs to get to (my new) goal but doubt I'll get there for Xmas. Will need to add a Randall buffer to that goal weight too.
