Hola.
Thought we needed a new thread Grin
Last day at work for me Grin Grin Grin

Well done Bssh on only gaining 1lb holiday weight, am hoping to emulate this!

I understand the 'chief' reference (v funny too) but not the randalling one.
Can someone enlighten me? Smile

Lizzylou · 16/10/2013 20:08

Moondog, Randall worked out weekly calories then if she randalled over the weekend on booze and food, she adjusted her daily calorie intake accordingly. She consistently lost weight, week in, week out. Doing no exercise and has come doen from 15stone to something tiny, lost about 6stones!

moondog · 16/10/2013 20:09

Thank you for taking the time to explain.
Excellent.
She should trademark it and make a fortune.

Lizzylou · 16/10/2013 20:12

Tbh Moondog it is a pisser, Randall hasn't exercised at all, and her food diary rarely contains any fruit or veg. And she looks bloody amazing Envy

Tea gave me the title for my diet book a while ago.
'Randall your way thin with the Cider and hula hoops diet'. With the sub-heading 'say fuck you to skinny jeans'.

I bet Rosemary Conelly's shitting herself.

I should probably clarify the skinny jeans bit.

I was a size 16 when we started and as I'd lost quite a bit quite quickly I went to try some 14s on just to see how far away I was from fitting in them. It did not go well. They became known as 'The Jeans That Made Me Cry'.

There was something of a celebration when they fastened!

RandallPinkFloyd · 16/10/2013 20:51

Grin Tea

Lizzylou · 16/10/2013 21:19

Oh the recap has me all weepy Smile
I am also inordinately proud when tea runs great distances without shitting.
Bet you could fit both legs in one of the legs of those evil jeans now, Randall!

OP posts:
RandallPinkFloyd · 16/10/2013 21:39

The Jeans That Made Me Cry are dead to me.
The Pants of Motivation are also in the charity shop pile.
I now rock the 10s.

TeaMakesItAllPossible · 16/10/2013 21:58

Grin Lizzy

Randall that's just brilliant.

WRT the worst fast day known to Chiefs (trademark pending) slightly good news .... Mr Waitrose didn't deliver until just now so I haven't eaten aforementioned macaroni cheese. Sadly I had chocolate buttons instead. Now, you might mistake me for Sherlock Holmes with this excellent piece of deduction, but something tells me AF may be about to spring upon me.

I've been thinking about Dink's suggestion about tea around my house. That would be excellent. I like you all so very much Chiefs. You proper makes me laugh . I know we have never met but you feel like pals. Feck me! I haven't even had gin. I bet it's the sugar rush.

buzzybuzzybeeshoes · 16/10/2013 21:59

Hahaha Randall ! Did they refer to your arse-soothing products at all? I'm not sure I could've resisted.

Tea and Tits my fast day has been similar. To be fair, the writing was on the wall when I scoffed 8 plain chocolate digestives before 8am. Teeeeeaaa, Teaaaaaaaa, do you think you could just mention where the apricot and marzipan loaf recipe is from?

Monkey I'm more of a Nigel fan too. More hopeless even than your standard bloke off the telly crush! He looks vaguely like a shorter version of DH. I'm fairly glad I don't live with him though. I doubt Chiefing would be possible, I once read one of his columns where he recommended making a batch of mayonnaise and then eating it with a fucking baguette for lunch Hmm

Lizzy another baby!!! What do you think - broody enough?? (I'd love one but DH says no - he only really wanted one and we have two - and tbh it makes sense not to for us.)

Lizzylou · 16/10/2013 22:10

Buzzy, my first baby was 8lb 13 oz and despite me being a big girl and having hips of hell, he got stuck, 2 years later I had ds2 who was 10lb 11oz and guess what? He got stuck too!
Apparently I have a narrow inner pelvis, despite having huge hips!
But, you know, a wickle baby.....
And I would only want a boy, ick! And I am 40!

OP posts:
RandallPinkFloyd · 16/10/2013 22:14

Blimey Lizzy I missed that.
I remember you posting a while ago that you wished you'd had a third though.
Exciting times!

RandallPinkFloyd · 16/10/2013 22:17

I currently have two pregnant 40yo friends.
Just sayin'

TeaMakesItAllPossible · 16/10/2013 22:45

Ooooooof. 10lbs 11oz.

I'd like another baby. And another pre-teen. And a girl. And a boy. I'd like twins. Or even triplets. I think I might be broody. DH will not entertain the idea unless we find ourselves with £500,000 in our pockets one day. Though I do like my walk to work. And playing hockey.

Lizzy my older DS's love, love, love their little brother. And he was a lovely baby, so easy, so beautiful, just fitted in with everything. He's just got a very strong personality at three and sooooo rules our house . He is still beautiful. Also Just sayin' Wink

What do you want to do? If I do go into teaching I'd go down the TA to teacher route. There are some really interesting courses and I have friends who were teachers that now TA plus do SEN specialist support and love the 1 on 1 nature of their job.

linky linky buzz I did the bake off original recipe. It's deeeee-licious.

BsshBossh · 16/10/2013 23:13

Lizzy oooooo babies :) If you're tempted by another then the TA route sounds more manageable...

Tea oooooo cake Envy. I can't bake cakes in my house as neither DH nor DD is partial to them so I'd just end up eating the whole thing in one sitting. Thank feck for my local Gail's bakery then: it's looking like Fridays are my cake trip days. I purposefully undereat during the week so I can Randall gorge on cake at the end of the week.

Randall I'd definitely buy your Randalling cookbook (not that I need help with my own Randalling habits) Grin.

I'm more of a Nigel Slater gal than a Paul Hollywood gal.

Lizzylou · 16/10/2013 23:33

Hello? regardless of womb exploits, Paul Hollywood has nice eyes and big hands! Don't diss him. My best man is Daniel Craig. PH just does cake.
Oooh, I am all of a flummox .

OP posts:
BsshBossh · 16/10/2013 23:38

Okay, I concede, he has amazing nice eyes... Wink.

Lizzylou · 17/10/2013 07:17

There will be no babies!
Certainly not with Dh who is in the doghouse. He was out last night with work, fine. He texted at 9.00pm saying he was on his way home. At 10.30pm no sign. So I text him to see where he is. No response. So I ring him. Nowt. At 12pm he rings to say he is now really on his way home and proceeds to then text or ring me every 5minutes of his journey. Such gems as " the taxi driver is called Dave", "I love you, do you want some chips?"......then strolls in at 1am wanting to get jiggy Hmm
I was so worried about him, I was bloody checking the life insurance the fool!
Anyway, I have lost 1lb so that is good.

Titsalinabumsquash · 17/10/2013 07:24

I'm not sure how my eating will go today, I'm on day 3 of NO SLEEP, fucking DP has managed to be so soundly asleep through it all he's been useless. I'm so tired and run down it hurts. In fact I might cry. Blush

So yes, cake today? Pizza is tempting I'm not pregnant but I've been having muchos pizza cravings this past few days... Although I guess I should behave to get a result in the scales tomorrow.

Lizzylou · 17/10/2013 07:37

Tits, I hear you, I am sooo tired today. Bloody dh.
I am fasting today, so no comfort food! Hmm Hmm Hmm Hmm Hmm

OP posts:
Lizzylou · 17/10/2013 07:58

Just been reading dh's texts, best one was "Tra bit v Proust of my team".
Hmm Hmm Hmm Hmm Hmm
Intellectual exploits for a works night out, eh?

OP posts:
BsshBossh · 17/10/2013 11:27

Grrrr to your DH Lizzy. Mine did something similar once - didn't return home as expected from a works do until 3am, yet not even a text! I considered calling the police! I made him suffer afterwards and he never did it again Angry.

Poor Tits... in your situation I'd be mainling carbs! I'm tired too today but DD is off school due to teacher's strike so we're at my mum's house doing some serious chilling out :)

Fast day for me too today and DD is torturing me with the smell of her prawn cocktail crisps (my favourite!).
