Hola.
Thought we needed a new thread Grin
Last day at work for me Grin Grin Grin

Well done Bssh on only gaining 1lb holiday weight, am hoping to emulate this!

Lizzylou · 15/10/2013 09:12

Oh, ladies that pic is one of the only ones ever where I don't ming too badly.

Buzzy, weekend sounds fabulous, glad you enjoyed. Hope you and dh are ok. Life really can get in the way of this healthy eating lark.

Tits, shame at no cake, but fast today and use opportunity wisely.

I am not feeling too great at all today, I may end up fasting as I don't feel like food at all. May just do some pilates stuff to ease the aching limbs.

OP posts:
BsshBossh · 15/10/2013 09:20

Take it easy Lizzy, hope you feel better soon. If you don't feel like eating much you may as well fast and get it out of the way. On the other hand, comfort eating may be just the tonic you need. See how you feel...

MonkeyGoneToHeaven · 15/10/2013 12:52

Bssh you look fab.

Well, I thought I was being sooo virtuous yesterday. Ate very little all day and then went for a run after work. Then when I got back I lost my vision on one side and had a stonking headache and yes, I had managed to give myself a migraine.

So, I am eating a bit more today and sitting on the sofa tonight watching Bake Off - for health reasons, you understand.

I'm coming a bit late to the Farmer Giles discussion, but surely Boots online is one of the wonders of modern life...

anotetofollowso · 15/10/2013 15:24

Noooo, don't encourage Randall to wuss out with Boots online. It will deprive us of the chance to read her inevitably witty account of her trip to Boots. Sorry Randall*, don't mean to be unsupportive but your posts are always hilarious - not least the ones about the mother fuckers. Oh alright, alright, go online if that's the only way to lose the grapes.

Bsssh you look amazing. And your pix are so inspiring. Thank you for posting them. Plus it's lovely to see the friendly being behind the nickname.

Buzzy I also dive for the sweet stuff when stressed/conflicted/experiencing emotions I want to go away fast. Don't do it. Come on to MN and let us talk you out of it. But it's fantastic that you are at least maintaining weight at a stressful time.

Monkey good on you for doing another run, but sorry to hear it ended badly. Hope your next one is better.

RandallPinkFloyd · 15/10/2013 15:36

I Randalled on a Monday. I Randalled my mother fucking pile ridden arse off. It was flipping marvellous.

And guess what...

I'm going Randalling tonight too. Two nights in a row. I literally can't grin wide enough.

I'll catch up properly tomorrow. TTFN chiefs Grin

Lizzylou · 15/10/2013 17:17

Midweek Randalling? Shock Shock Shock Shock Shock
Good for you, you Randall your pile ridden ass off.

I am with you, anote, I nwant her to go to Boots in person too Grin

OP posts:
DoubleMum · 15/10/2013 18:19

I don't want to break it to you, but DH's piles (yes, we are a 2 pile family) are worse when he randalls.

Applesnotcakes · 15/10/2013 18:21

I love Randall. I'm seeing my two best friends and drinking buddies one night after the other this week - neither lives near me so we take the chance when work or other trips make it convenient - so Wednesday and Thursday it's Randalling galore - I follow her rules to the letter.

Downside is I really cant have wine when I get in from work tonight can I? - taking the weekly view, need the low calorie days to fund the blow outs, blah, blah, can have it tomorrow, blah, blah. i know it makes sense....

TeaMakesItAllPossible · 15/10/2013 18:37

buzzy Sad for the DH and you arguing. It's hard when there's a lot of emotion, loud voices and things said to feel good about anything, never mind control the eating. But Grin for the Proclaimers, the booze and the gal friends. Love pals. They're the best. Excellent maintaining on a week like that.

Lizzy pilates when you're feeling shite Shock Surely you should be banging Mr Darcy on the telly and investing in a pot of nutella. What? Grin I find P&P very comforting.

Are you a member of the aristocracy double? My family has not one single pile between us.

Enjoy Randall the Randalling. I have done very well all day but have just fallen over on the apricot and marzipan cake .... my mouth was open chiefs

Monks excellent running dude. I too am going to ogle at the Berry this evening. She is in danger of making it onto my list, because she has a little edge to her dressing, which with Kirsty Wark also on it is danger of changing from a guilt free shag list to rocking women I just want to be list. Is this the true sign of getting old. The list changes purposes

Lizzylou · 15/10/2013 18:57

Tea, I did the Belly, Butt and Thigh Blasters 10 minute solution stuff instead. Felt fine, now feel grim again Hmm

Tea/Monk, I too am going to watch Bake off. In bed. I used to watch to perv over Paul Hollywood's blue eyes and massive hands. But he is a cheating fucker so now it's to pretend Mel and Sue are my rl mates.

I didn't fast, but I didn't have much appetite today. Which makes a change.

OP posts:
DoubleMum · 15/10/2013 19:07

Banging Mr Darcy on the telly? Belly butt and thigh blasts? Paul Hollywood's massive hands? Falling on cake with your mouth open? It's like I've walked onto a porn set!

DoubleMum · 15/10/2013 19:08

Lizzy sorry you still feel grim. Probably all the banging.

Dinkydoos · 15/10/2013 19:08

Hello all. Lots of randalling going on, sounds good to me, specially buzzys weekend and randalls outrageous school night double randall. Respec innit?
I may or may not have fallen into the 4th bottle of wine whilst watching X factor on Saturday night with one friend, I may or may not have eaten shit tons on Sunday to recover. Sigh.
apples I am asking myself same question, really fancy a cold crisp glass, it's just so civilised!
tea can I come for tea at your house, sounds v v like a great episode of bake off in there!
lizzy go and have a lie down chuck, with a nice cuppa.
Well done on all the chief ing everyone, you're all stars Grin

Lizzylou · 15/10/2013 19:24

Grin Double, I am now mning from bed.
Dinky, sounds a fun Saturday, liking your style.
On Friday I will be randalling like a bastard as it is my leaving do. I am hoping to get to bed after 7.30pm this time!

OP posts:
buzzybuzzybeeshoes · 15/10/2013 22:32

Monkey hope you feel better soon. Were you fasting? I find that can happen if a fast catches me at the wrong time cycle-wise. Something to do with blood sugar maybe?

Randall midweek randalling! Go you. White wine stings piles on the way out, just saying (little piece of hard-won knowledge there for you).

Lizzy EW EW EW at Paul Hollywood! What is it about this man that everyone seems to faint over? Am I the only one who thinks he looks ancient and also like he totally loves himself? He reminds me of a creepy A-level teacher.

Anote very interesting that you also hurl yourself at the sweet stuff. I wonder whether this is linked to our aforementioned self-destructive streaks - you know, like if things are going wrong they might as well REALLY go wrong and you might as well have this CAKE so you can be FAT as well as MISERABLE (capitals supplied by my internal monologue). It'll probably be fine between me and DH, just a blip I'm sure (possibly not helped by both of us trying to juggle a lot in the way of nights out and exercise recently, or by me going away this weekend - not that he would consciously grudge that but the DDs are 2 and 5 so it's not easy).

Lizzylou · 16/10/2013 06:53

Buzzy, Paul Hollywood has twinkly blue eyes, huge hands and can bake. I used to be smitten, when I thought I was the only one who had fallen for his charms. Turns out he is a snake, ah well.
I ended up not watching Bake off anyway as missed first 15minutes (football!) and I like to get a true picture of who should go. Grin Grin Grin I am a sad case.

Hope you had a fab Randall, Randall.

OP posts:
MonkeyGoneToHeaven · 16/10/2013 12:44

Thank you buzzy I feel much better. No I wasn't fasting but I hadn't eaten for a few hours before the run. Next time I'll have a banana.

I don't see the appeal of Paul Hollywood at all. Prefer Nigel Slater, although I can say with some certainty that Nigel wouldn't be at all interested in me. I still wish Nigel would come and live in my house though - we could talk about growing vegetables, and he could make me cakes. I don't think DH would mind Grin

anotetofollowso · 16/10/2013 15:06

Oh Buzzy you've described a familiar state of mind uncannily well. Yes yes to the 'lets see how REALLY shite I can make my life now' because I'm already not feeling good. But here we are, Chiefing away ... that's got to be a good sign of something shifting for the better!

I salute the double Randall Randall. Just remember that you are now role model and hero to lots of little Chiefs who are all taking notes ...I'm thrilled to discover the double Randall strategy.

Work beckons ... very inconvenient, I find

Titsalinabumsquash · 16/10/2013 16:03

Shite day here, mcdonalds bacon roll for brekkie, 2 cups of tea and some carrot cake Blush I'm doing superb! I did wake up after only 1 hrs sleep feeling like a massive pile of plop.

Shepard's pie for tea, if I ever get off my substantial bottom and make it.

TeaMakesItAllPossible · 16/10/2013 18:21

I've had four types of cake today.

And a brie, bacon and cranberry sandwich.

For tea I have macaroni cheese which is 700 calories.

My type of cakes are .... orange and chocolate cupcake, vanilla cupcake with chocolate pieces, strawberry and white chocolate sponge and apricot and marzipan loaf.

I was meant to be fasting. I'm not really sure where I went wrong twas the strawberry and white chocolate cake.

But I'm going to mark this down as a good day. As there aren't many days when one has the opportunity to have four types of cake.

I am still hungry. I am the fecking hungry caterpillar.

Tits You may now feel better about your day. You are welcome Wink

My last Thursday off tomorrow before I go to five days a week. I should fast but I won't because an arsey 3YO requires coffee to manage him

DoubleMum · 16/10/2013 18:44

That's what I call a fast, Tea. Unfortunately.

RandallPinkFloyd · 16/10/2013 19:02

Oh, the joys of living in a small town. I bumped into someone from work in sainsburys. I had to make polite conversation whilst my fybogel and Germaloid cream slowly shunted down the conveyor belt.

If anyone wants me I'll be rocking in the corner moaning quietly.

(That sounds like the best fast day ever Tea)

Lizzylou · 16/10/2013 19:08

4 types of cake? Fantastic Tea
I had ( a bit crap) lunch out with some ex colleagues and a 4mth old baby with the squishiest cheeks ever. Gorgeous baby. Lovely chats.
Think I need to rethink teacher training for next year. Dh's new role is pretty intense, lots of last minute meetings in London etc, the sensible option would be to get some part time TA work for next 2 years. It is a bit of a conundrum. The boys are loving me being around more. Apparently they have completely forgotten that I was a Sahm for most of their preschool lives Hmm
I could just gym/do insanity and do lunch for two years? Bank account says no. Dh wants another baby! Shock
