Hey new thread since our old stopping smoking and not gaining-too--much weight has been lost from chat! BOO!!!

I am not a good role model however as I HAVE piled on a stone, well 12 lbs now, since giving up the cigs.
This must be rectified!
Hence joining in the club section!

been busy getting the kids back and settled
I must tell you about dds bike getting pinched ...
thursday before good friday we went to the park and left her bike by a bench while on the play area, Literally took our eyes off it for 5 mins....gone.
drove round searching etc, went on hols the next day
anyhoo on way to said park again friday just gone, happen to look over bridge 50 ft down in river is dds bike looking a bit worse for wear,
After umming and ahhing I got my sister on board
we off loaded kids and dogs and retrieved wellies and rope and got into " Bear Grylls mode" so she lowered me down (absail fashion) and luckily water wasnt too deep
and the rest is history, we dragged bike home and hubby replaced back wheel
good as new

ps she didnt lower me down 50 ft we found a way of getting down to actual steepbank first

It's been nice today, yesterday was really warm, in fact me and DH are blitzed like beetroots from the sun yesterday
We put factor 50 on the kids etc, and although I put factor 30 on myself in the morning, I didn't re apply throughout the day
We had a lovely time, played tennis and had a barbie
Been tired today though, if I don't do 1-2 loads of washing per day then I'm snowed under, so yesterday after doing none, I had the grand total of 3 done and on the line for 10 am this morning
Gawd, I'm getting old, all pleased and proud about my frickkin washing !

Kids had school trip today.
Sent them wrapped up and in waterproofs.

We did, been at another christening today, the third this year so far
It's nice that all our friends are still having babies, they all grow up together
The weathers been nice too
I know about being mums taxi, my eldest has his driving test on the 17th of June , I'm more nervous than him... Ha !
We've just been arranging another weekend in Wales at the end of this month I'm sure I said I'd never go camping again but the kids all love it !
Been so trying not to snack this weekend, I wanna be back in my jeans soon !

I have had such a busy week, I literally dont have enough hours in the day some days
Im up at 6 if not before , every single day and the eldest has been on a late shift all week so Ive picked him up every night at 10pm, its just pooped me

we are going out for the day tomorrow to a park place, never been before but going with friends who have
But Ive got so many jobs to catch up on around the house and garden, I could do with doing
You have to make the most of the weather though dontcha
We are also house hunting, steadily out growing this one
The little'uns are sleeping through the night nicely, hit and miss with their own beds but still...

Its a bit of an aquired taste , no luxury whats so ever ....but the kids and dh love it, as do our pals
