Hey new thread since our old stopping smoking and not gaining-too--much weight has been lost from chat! BOO!!!

I am not a good role model however as I HAVE piled on a stone, well 12 lbs now, since giving up the cigs.
This must be rectified!
Hence joining in the club section!

Day two going well
I went to m&s yesterday and stocked up on some fancy healthy food
I got some nice salads and prawns and dried figs and apricots....Go me !

Makes new year dieting a little bit easier if the rabbit food you're gonna eat costs a fortune and tastes nice.

Still being very good here
Eating figs when starving bleurh
Went to the hairdressers for the first time in two years yesterday
My hair was down to my bum so had about 6 inches off
Had a few bits of colour through an all, adventurous me ?

My eyes thanks for asking are a pain in the arse
Whatever it is that's wrong with them ???? It keeps trying to come back
I had to come off the steroid drops because of eye pressure
So now I'm on allergen drops and I have to go to eye clinic every 2 weeks while waiting to see a specialist

Still...
I'm sure I'll be fixed eventually
Dd has her follow up in two weeks and hopefully they will dis charge her

My eyes have been driving me nuts, been and got some different drops today. I'm waiting to see a specialist because they don't know what's causing it, I've had swabs done and all clear, my eye lids are inflamed apparently
Ah it'll be sorted eventually, boring boring

My eyes are still flippin sore....Raaaarh !
Dd has been getting headaches, got specialist appointment next Monday
Looking forward to the better weather, it's been snowing here, but not enough to take a sledge out or build a snowman

I weighed myself yesterday for the first time in ages, I'm 10 stone , not as bad as I feared actually, but ideally I'd like to be about 9.4 for my height and build so still got a bit to go.

May be going down saarff (South) tomorrow to visit rellies, weather permitting

I'm feeling grim, fat and grumpy!

Driving has been horrific.
Kids are having a ball as the school roof came partly off.

Really don't know what the crack is with mine or dds eyes !
I have some sort of mystery infection
Dd has a wonky optic nerve
Dd seeing pead on Monday
I'm waiting for appointment to come through
I'm on steroid eye drops in the mean time

Happy belated Burns night !
All good here, had a few too many biscuits this week tho !
Dd3 is one next week ! Can't believe it ! She is walking and talking too ! Well four words, hiya, teddy, dee-dee (her sister) and daddy
Such a contrast to dd2 who didn't say her first word until 21 months!

The eyes are ok but scrap without the steroid drops, if I miss a dose.
Dd1 has important eye appt Monday about the optic nerve, DH is taking her

Having family round tomorrow for dds birthday get together

Had a poorly baby on her birthday, she was all runny nose and high temp
On the mend now though
Dd1 had a good appt about the optic nerve
She had all sorts of thorough eye checks and has got to have one more in a few weeks but I'm very happy with the care she recieved because now I'm almost reassured that there is no scary underlying problem...phew
I'm off to eye clinic myself tomorrow ... Groan
My mum thinks I've got ...wait for it.... Eczema under my eye lids
Because ...wait for it... She has eczema up her nostril !
