Hey new thread since our old stopping smoking and not gaining-too--much weight has been lost from chat! BOO!!!

I am not a good role model however as I HAVE piled on a stone, well 12 lbs now, since giving up the cigs.
This must be rectified!
Hence joining in the club section!

We baked biscuits yesterday and i ate nearly all of them
I've got such a sweet tooth lately
Still raining and hale stoning here today
I need to stop co sleeping
I've done it for years on and off but I'm tired and decided today that I'm going to put both babies in their own cots tonight...wish me luck :)

Ps I haven't jogged for a loooooong time
I walk wearing the only thing that fits me ( size 12 leggings)
Old knackered pixie ankle boots
A button up shirt dress top that covers my fat bum
And my lovely old fave warm bomber jacket

Anyhoo they both slept in cots til midnight and 1am that night and been snuggled up with me since

I find decorating and cleaning my home really therapeutic
My neighbours think I'm bonkers too, as soon as I manage to get one or both of them asleep I'm out up the step ladders cleaning my windows or something

I like the garden to look nice but it's just well, effort, and housework outside that is mucky!

I went to see my smoking friend today
It was lovely to catch up
I was there for four hours with the girls
I think she had two fags in that time
Anyhoo I wandered outside to show dd2 the chickens whilst mate was puffing and thought that said smoke smelled nice at first
I wasn't tempted in the slightest though and as I watched her pulling deep on said fag I thought flippin eck I've come so far, I'm so glad to no longer be a slave to them things, I actually felt relieved that I'm finally free of them
I know for sure that I'll never go back now, I've got too many kids to think of if the worst happened
Before, I used to put the guilt to the back of my mind but now I'm free of all them crappy worries
Gosh listen to me, I sound like a right smug caah

Well done you on knowing that the cigs are over.
They are here too.
I hate the smell, though still sometimes think fondly of my quiet times out the back
Don't romanticise the cough or ducking and diving so not to be seen though!

Of course that's after they are ready to go...which may still take some time

DH is up B&Q getting a fence panel as we speek
My ds2 lurves crazy golf, its a must when we visit the seaside as there isnt any courses round here
Erm dd2 was 15 months when dd3 rocked up and I might not have said but its been quite hard because dd2 hasnt been jelous but she has been a bit "thrown" by it all
I think it turned her world upside for a while if im honest
she started waking in the night after sleeping through perfectly since 7 months etc
although I make time to do my jobs etc I have to also grab every opportunity to sit on the floor with dd2 and build bricks , shape sort, read millions of books and generally give her loads of attention too.

I only have dd1 s to worry about ATM because the babies have not got much
Its shoes in this house, nobody can ever find their shoes despite having a large shoe cupboard
