Hey new thread since our old stopping smoking and not gaining-too--much weight has been lost from chat! BOO!!!

I am not a good role model however as I HAVE piled on a stone, well 12 lbs now, since giving up the cigs.
This must be rectified!
Hence joining in the club section!

Weather permitting we are going to Devon this weekend
My PIL live there and they are back from their winter holiday so haven't met the new addition yet
think DH wants to try out the new motor really

Bought some new jeggings from newlook this morning, size 12 and they are far too tight :( I'm keeping them though, even if I have to jump off the wardrobe to get in the damn things

No I weren't pregnant then , I've always had them ice creams
Some ice cream sellers refuse to serve me them that way or lecture me on how the cream will slide off (doh not when I eat as fast as I do )

Devon was fab ! No surfing this weekend, kids wanted to but they just got over a cold so mean mum said nooooo !
Hey but I had a proper ice cream , honey comb flavour with a big dollop of clotted cream and I thought of you :)
'Twas lovely for the kids to see their grandparents and the new motor is brilliant, not too heavy on fuel and not too slow on the hills either

Hope you feeling better in yourself, i hate wednesdays, always have done, too far from still being on high from the previous weekend and too far away to be looking forward to this weekend, plus when i worked full time which was only school hours and a saturday morning i had to work until 5.30 pm on a wednesday which meant putting ds1 in after school club , which he hated and i had no choice but had to do it...plus there is nowt eastenders on the telly
Anyhoo i have a big bouncing 5 week old, she feeds non stop, dread to think what she weighs now
Its tiring and she is a screamer but im glad because dd1 was like this and she thrived where as dd2 was slow to gain weight and although not sickly i think that you worry about them less when theyve got a full tummy iyswim
Sunshine forecast for this weekend, got to sort our back garden out its a shit tip

My eldest has had a tough week, getting grief of other children at school.
Kids can be so cruel at times.

Awww your poor eldest...I hate bullying, and yes kids are cruel sometimes
Ive always told mine to feel sorry for the bully as perhaps their mum and dad dont love them as much as we love you etc...Strong I know, but it puts a different spin on it for them when they are feeling so upset. Ive always said that it dont matter what they say or do because they are loved soooo much at home and family is more important than randoms at school. And what my Mum used to say " you dont go to school to make friends you go to learn"
Its horrible when they are being left out though and not directly bullied, it takes an understanding teacher/dinner staff to keep an eye out. Huge sympathies x
