Hey new thread since our old stopping smoking and not gaining-too--much weight has been lost from chat! BOO!!!

I am not a good role model however as I HAVE piled on a stone, well 12 lbs now, since giving up the cigs.
This must be rectified!
Hence joining in the club section!

Donnadoon hope you find this thread.

Everyone else pile in, join and be happy or miserable bastard ex smokers

It really is the business, gloop but compared to the Rennies sheesh it works
Can't believe a ciggie hasn't crossed my lips for a year nearly .??
Wish we could read over our old chat thread because I can't remember the exact date
Irrelevant now I guess because I never ever fancy one, hoping that remains the same when no longer with child Grin
Anyhoo,I'm excited for tomorrow after 12 Grin
I never get gifts...well DH bought me a bottle of perfume for Xmas
I always tell him not to bother, I'd rather it was all spent on the kids
Me and my sister don't buy for eachother anymore, just each others kids
Oh but my mum got me a vax floor steam cleaner, so that was good too
Waffling now, but forgot to ask if you got anything nice for Xmas?

Donnadoon · 16/01/2014 18:52

Ah glad you kicked yourself up bum, saves me giving you a talking to
January is a crap month for sure, roll on the spring
Ha do you remember us saying that last year?
Sorry you feeling broody, pregnancy is hard work, uh I've got a huuuuuge varicose vein come up at the back of my thigh, bulging it is, I've never had them before, first time for everything, my poor body might be coming to the end of child bearing , DH is adamant that this is the last one, he on about getting the snip [snip] I'll believe that when I see it! he wouldn't even get the dog done
But I would love to finish up on an even number, a little boy next time would give me three of each, greedy cow I am
I am getting tired now, only 28 days to go, yay!
Chat again laters matey x

FrantasticO · 16/01/2014 19:26

Har de har har at the even number!
Bet the next pregnancy is twins! Grin

Poor you and your vein! Sounds sore! You can have it stripped when you've got you're even number here!

All fine here, thank god it's nearly the weekend!

Laughing at the snip...don't do it, tell him horror stories!!

Heartburn not too bad now she's turned head down
Having a nice easy weekend, need to recharge from the running around during week
Got myself some glamorous support tights for my vien sexy lady I ain't
Watching the snooker at the moment, love the rocket !
Hope alls well your end :)

Donnadoon · 18/01/2014 21:30

Oh and I always would have loved a set of twins, but not this far down the line up, and yeah it would be just my luck to finish on a set!

FrantasticO · 19/01/2014 09:20

Curry...yum!
I ate a block of cheese the size of a small child last night and washed it down with a glass or three of red wine.
Feeling it today.

Have kids clubs all day today and other half is working so will be a busy one! Grin
Am laughing at the bath story, I can remember the need of a hoist or small crane to get up at the end!

I can remember phoning the mat to say I was coming in and the midwife said no have a bath instead and make sure your stomachs covered. I was HUGE and the only way the bump would be covered wound have been lying face down!
Anyway I said no I'm coming in, much to her disgust...baby born an hour later! Could've been in the bath! Grin

Take it easy and enjoy the snooker wouldn't have pegged you as a snooker fan Grin

Donnadoon · 21/01/2014 22:27

Hiya
I've just woke up Confused been asleep since 7.30
Urgh it's getting tougher now, it's having a one year old that's finishing me off, I tell thee, she's a good girl but she's fast, I'm teaching her and failing to get her to walk nice on the reins and climb up and down the stairs safely etc but she's a little rocket!
Still nesting as well, I want all my kitchen cupboards, fridge, windows etc sparkly for when I'm laid up and have to stare at them for a few weeks
Ha I'm not a huge snooker fan but it was always on at home growing up, my dad and grandad were big players up ' the club' as well
DH is sport mad, there is always something on the telly that is sport here, and sometimes if you can't beat em you have to join em
It was darts all over Christmas and new year, I don't mind
The only one that I can't get into, can't stand the drone is the Grand Prix , it does my head in ! Grin

FrantasticO · 22/01/2014 20:17

Ha! Have fond memories of my dad off down the club to watch the footie and have a pint!
Girl zone here so minimal sport, poor dh doesn't stand a chance really!

Your one year old sounds fab!
I love them at that cheeky, inquisitive stage...bit they are such hard work!
Poor you mrs.

My 3 yr old would love her, pity we are not just down the road or she could come play and you could have a rest or rush about like a whirlwind sorting cupboards! Grin

Try a little bit to take it easy!

OP posts:
FrantasticO · 24/01/2014 13:23

Day off tomorrow whoop whoop!
Going to get hair sorted will be a job and a half

Hope you and your bed are having long meetings! Grin
How many days now?
Must be 3 weeks now!!!!!
In fact are we now in the teens?
Countdown is progressing!

Hiya
I'm naughty, I glossed all the skirting boards today, one coat quick dry stuff is ace ! But I'm done in now, in bed with my girlies.
20!days, I can't believe it ! Still got some nesting to do but plan to have a nice lazy weekend, the weather is going to be naff so I'm staying in bed til mid day tomorrow, me thinks.
Hope you get a nice hair doo tomorrow, I do mine myself but I am booked in at beauticians on Tuesday to get my eyebrows sorted and some waxing done.
Chat again over weekend
Ta ra x
