Hey new thread since our old stopping smoking and not gaining-too--much weight has been lost from chat! BOO!!!

I am not a good role model however as I HAVE piled on a stone, well 12 lbs now, since giving up the cigs.
This must be rectified!
Hence joining in the club section!

Donnadoon hope you find this thread.

Everyone else pile in, join and be happy or miserable bastard ex smokers

Hey donna how you?
I am so glad we have had here this last year and have managed to stay off the cigs.
I have really felt like one the last few days, I know I don't want one and they stink blah, blah, but it would have been a great distraction at the hospital.
How easy would it be to get back into smoking, it's scary.
Well the sad news is that my wee relative has died, she was one of my best friends.
Life sucks at times.

Hope you and yours are all well.
Give them all a big hug and tell them your Internet friend says that they have to run after you and make sure you don't get too tired.

Take it easy x

Flowers :(
Oh Fran I'm so sorry for your loss!
Life is shite sometimes
I bet she was far too young to die
How awful for all of you and her friends and family
I know what you mean about the cigs
I can categorically say I'm done with them, it's nearly been twelve months
But... In one or two of my hormonal preggo rages I could have killed for a puff or two
Flowers

FrantasticO · 18/12/2013 22:13

OP posts:

Hiya
I'm good thanks
How are you and the family bearing up?
I've really cut down on what I've been eating this week, because I was fed up of the heartburn, I actually feel slim this morning, a slim pregnant woman [hmmm] ha!
Anyway yeah my lardy arse feels less wobbly an all sorts Grin
I'm all shopped out, done and wrapped, just waiting for the big day now
I actually get butterflies of excitement to see the kids faces on Xmas morning!

FrantasticO · 21/12/2013 16:35

We are all getting there thanks.
Kids are hyper!
Presents were already bought and wrapped, I'm so glad that's still not to be done.

Laughing at your lard arse description, however I am having none of it.
You are lovely and pregnant, not fat!
Repeat after me!!!

We have the panto coming up, am determined to try and laugh and be happy as that's the only way to get on.

Roll on the man in red!
I'm going to make soup tonight and freeze it!
Now the only decision is bacon and lentil(my fave), butternut squash and ginger or broccoli and Stilton?
Vote lentil!

Take it easy and hope the heart burn eases.
Are you glugging gaviscon???Grin

OP posts:
Donnadoon · 24/12/2013 08:10

Hope you enjoyed the panto !
And omg I love all those flavoured soup, I used to deprive myself of Stilton when pregnant but latest research is saying its safe so I've had a smidgen this Christmas.
I've never tried gaviscon is it any good? I chomp Rennie tablets, like peppermint chalk they are.
I'm so excited for tonight/ tomorrow morning, nothing beats seeing your children's faces on Christmas morning
Xmas Smile
Merry Christmas frantastico and family !!! Hope you have a lovely day tomorrow!!

Hiya
Glad to be slowly returning to normality here
Trying to get my house back in order
Finding room for new stuff, getting rid of old
Itching to take the decorations down
Must hang on til new year at least
I'm 32 weeks now Shock it's flown by hasn't it?
This is the first year in ages that I'm not hosting New Year's Eve party at mine, I think I can be forgiven for taking a year off, we are going down the road to our friends
What are you doing?

FrantasticO · 30/12/2013 18:30

32 weeks!!
32 weeks!!
How did that happen? well we know how it happened, but 32 weeks!
Very exciting!

I am a saddo, have taken the Xmas tree down in one room as the demened dog kept knocking it!

Work for me again tomorrow, then panto and home for the bells and food with the family.
Am determined to try and put a smile on this sour puss!
I will be shattered I think, but loving it! Grin

Happy Hogmanay for tomorrow!
Steakpie at the ready!

Hey how goes it?

All pied out to the max here!

Take it easy!

8week coundown is getting nearer 7!

OP posts:
Donnadoon · 02/01/2014 14:02

Hiya
Happy new year!
This must be the first Xmas since FOREVER that I'm not all pied out
Eating is a real chore at the mo
I get so full and uncomfortable after a big meal and heart burns a joke !!
So little bits here and there but not much of an appetite ATM
Oh and I managed to stay awake until 10.30 pm on nye Blush ha ha

FrantasticO · 04/01/2014 18:09

Honestly try the gaviscon, it helps!

I'm starting on the wagon on Monday, no more nicities!
Been a crab so exercise can only help!

7 weeks till ur baby now! Very exciting!

Against MN Internet ways I know, but I would like to get your baby a gift.
Only been a year of constant chat! Grin
If you let me know your nearest town I could get it sent to nearest store?

That way your identity would still be protected promise I'm not a weirdo stalker

If you'd rather not no hassleGrin
We will just carry on as normal

Take it easy and try gaviscon!

OP posts:
Donnadoon · 05/01/2014 16:27

Ah Fran god bless you
But if you really want to then yes ill pm you
All good here I've just come to bed after a bath now, I'm done in
Had a mad day cleaning yesterday, a must after the decs come down Grin
I have busy days of cleaning cooking , running round after kids, then a day or two of resting when DH deals with it all.
Not looking forward to Tuesday when the kids go back, apparently the weather temp is going to drop like a stone, the car was frozen solid this morning.
I hate the de-icing malarkey , as if getting four kids up dressed and out for 8.15 isn't a mass operation already Grin
And I have got the gaviscon bottle not tablets and it is much more effective than the Rennies, just gloopy to swallow isn't it? But much better, the Rennies weren't touching the sides in the end.
What's the weather been like where you are?
No floods here, we very lucky weather wise where we are
Are you back at excercise classes this week?
:)

FrantasticO · 05/01/2014 18:48

Of course I want to!
Very excited!
Gaviscon is gloop, and the aniseed is vile, but heartburn is a devil!

Weather ok here it's always wet so no real difference
Some of the coast hit bad, but I'm central so no direct effect on us.

God I need a ham slicer to take off the fat stores I've gained over Xmas
Exercise starts tomorrow with a vengeance

Feel that christmas was so looked forward to then, bam, death and funerals and trying to keep smiling. Was quite tiring.

However 2014 is going to be the best! Grin
And you will meet your baby!

Take it easy

Hiya
How's you ?
Busy busy I expect
All good here
Got the kids back
So I'm nesting now, painted my bedroom yesterday
Well it was mouldy in the bay and I couldn't have the midwives seeing that when they come to check us Grin
I'm going to give dds room a freshen up coat tomorrow (I'm terrible arnt I ? )
I can't keep still, no wonder my babies always come early Blush
I've also got a hospital appointment tomorrow, they want me to have a cesarean section, I've had a mixture of natural births and sections before
I opt for the natural birth every time but it don't always work out that way unfortunately, Anyhoo so I'll let them book me in to keep them happy but if I go into labour before that date I will be trying for a VBAC because the recovery after a section is just hideous boring lying in bed for a couple of weeks Grin
So we will see what happens
I'm getting mega excited now, getting prepared
Hubby suggested this will be our last one Shock pfft

FrantasticO · 08/01/2014 21:50
