Sorry to be a bit late this morning - no doubt you're all chomping at the bit to declare all on the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

1lb down. S preadsheet updated. Was hoping for more, but only weighed for the first time 5 days ago so not bad in 5 days. Probably need to reduce dairy - cheese is so easy to snack on. Not a fan of boiled eggs unfortunately.

Well done everyone on your successful losses!

some tremendous losses here and on the end of the last thread. Well done everyone, bet you're all glowing and full of energy too. Thanks BIWI and Willie Thanks

My excess Christmas 2lb has gone, taking with it another bonus pound. Chuffed!

Thanks BIWI I know that's probably the reason so I'm trying to not be disheartened.

I'm also going to record all my food on here so that I have a proper note of it for future analysis should I NOT lose again next week

So:
Breakfast: 2 eggs, scrambled with butter plus 3 slices of Edam & a pint of water

well done everyone on losses!

if you aren't able to weigh in today or would prefer to wait for another day don't worry - i don't fiddle with the spreadsheet to do biggest loser / biggest average loser etc until about friday anyway

Hooray 3 1/2lb off, I would have preferred to lose more, but I've not perhaps been as good as I could be..... Still, on the right track and feeling much better, I've got more energy and I don't feel sluggish and bloated.Smile

2lb down for me. I am very pleased as I completely lost it last week after a day of interviewing and got a pizza!

This week my lovely DP has already batch cooked my Low Carb meals for all week so at least I wont have any excuses to cheat.

My batteries ran out on my scales, so I've put in Saturday's weight instead. 5lb down!

My DH said to me last night you look really well! Must be all the water I'm drinking that's plumping up my skin Grin

Down 2 lbs to 164 lbs - which is great, considering this is week 22 for me. It might be 3 lbs - the scales are analog, not digital, and I wasn't totally awake - but I'll claim 2, and any 'extra' can go towards next week's report!

Well done everyone - there are some truly brilliant losses this week. Onwards and downwards!

Good morning all. Congrats on all the losses!

I was actually headed for a whopping 6lb loss this week (probably because I'm new to low carbing).

Then I went on my binge at the weekend and piled on four pounds promptly. So, my final loss is 2lb. As you can imagine, am kicking myself Smile

12.2lbs down :) I am chuffed, I gained 1lb on Saturday morning and was quite disappointed, think I need to up my water intake. I still want chocolate tbh, ibam resisting, but think it is an emotional want, difficult to stop thinking about it really which is pathetic.

3lb down (Ive recorded on spreadsheet) and bang on 9st Smile

Prob couldve been a little more had I been super strict Miss Strict, however I had a glass of red yesterday (I didnt open a new bottle - was a glass left over from before) whilst waiting for my dinner (which I had a smidge of gravy with... I cant have a roast dinner without any gravy at all so Im not even going there Grin ). I drank it in front of the fire and it was bliss.

Today I didnt want breakfast but I'll have something shortly. Not sure about lunch yet either but dinner is leftover roast pork with mash and something (I'll have celeriac with mine.)

Have a good day everyone, and well done on all the losses! Keep going!

OTT well done on resisting - and you're right about the emotional want. most of us who've given in at some point have found that actually it's nowhere near as good as we remember!

1st week and 8 pounds off - gone from 13st 9 to 13st 1, that's down from 191 to 183 pounds.

Pleased Smile

My only minor cheat was 3 small pieces of salmon maki at a sushi bar which contained about 6 teaspoons of sushi rice.

4.1lbs off for me, so lighter now than I was before my rather extended and carb heavy Christmas period. Very happy with that.

Although obviously there was no official weigh-in before 7th Jan, I did weigh myself on 1st January, and was horrified to see that 11 days of feasting and drinking had resulted in a gain of 12lbs. I tell you this as an example of a) how much it is possible to gain back quickly if you go off plan, and b) that if you do go off plan, get back on it and you should hopefully be able to lose the gain (nearly) as quickly as it went on.

It's my 40th birthday this week, and I do have a planned cheat on the cards for that evening. However, in every year previous to this one, I have used my birthday as an excuse to not even start the diet until after it's been and gone, oh, and then it's Mr Rinky's birthday, oh, and then our wedding anniversary at the beginning of March, and oh, it's practically Easter, etc, etc.

I don't know who was asking, but I've posted a recipe for beef casserole on the recipe thread

I've also posted a lovely recipe for mushroom pate, which is really low carb.

Despite having somehow put on a pound between yesterday and today, I'm being honest and putting down my weight today - which is still a 7lb loss! :) Woo hoo - 3.8% down, to 12st 9lb.

Have noticed I'm not snacking as much on allowed foods of course - I think that's a combination of the diet working and also just generally getting my act together better and doing stuff rather than prowling the kitchen looking for food Wink.

Have done Level 2 of Ripped in 30 today too!

hello everyone

I am still at it, but I don't weigh so all I can report is that things are going well and I have definitely lost the weight I gained at Christmas. Hope everyone has a good week.

DH away this week so am summoning the impetus to make tasty low-carb meals just for me. I find it quite hard. Off to Lidl for pork chops and the like.

B: Lidl yog
L: lots of egg whites to use after Hollandaise-fest so a buttery egg-white spinach omelette
D: A 'whatever is still looking decent in the fridge' salad.

Well done everybody! Smile

As BIWI says, the important thing at this stage is to keep going with it and make it your normal way of life. Remember this WOE does not produce linear weight loss, those of you who lost nothing this week may see it start next week or even the one after. If you have lost a lot this week, don't expect it to continue at a huge rate or you will just demoralise yourself when it slows. That is a diet way of thinking, not a healthy long term view which is what we are trying to build here.

I weigh on Friday and had lost 5lb but had a disastrous weekend so may be back to square 1. Never mind, onwards and downwards!
