I like late exercise, lizzy, I can never do anything in the morning though. If I go to the gym before 12 I end up giving up.

I can have a double espresso and go straight to bed, though. Just drop straight off, luckily.

Can I join please? Started MFP at last week. Would like to lose 3 stones this year. Gradual build up of reserves since I met DH. Sure my hair has got heavier however....

I did a bit of research into natural appetite suppressants and one of the things that came up a few times were linseeds (flax). I have to say on the days ive had a spoonful of them, I have definitely had less of an urge to eat. But perhaps I'm just imagining it?

I mean I wanna keep the spuds in for the dc but will that mean I get the white carbs as well - even if I don't eat them?

Getorf, am exact opposite. Am at best (exercise wise anyway) first thing. I drink coffee in bed and sleep fine, but if I exercise after 8pm am awake all night.

Last Saturday had done Tescos shop, been to the gym and was home by 9am. I think I have sleep stored from my student days when I slept till 1pm everyday.

I am under my cals for the day - 900. That was brie, toast, sauteed potatoes and a club sandwich. But that was all scoffed within an hour at the end of the day - not exactly healthy.

I think some are. But today's seem pretty accurate - 15 mins swimming, 160 cals or something, 20 mins weight training, 67 cals.

I don't care really - I never eat the extra it gives iyswim. Just eat the allowance up to 1200 and the cals burned off is a bonus.

I had a HRM once I lost it and the calories are pretty much the same as what I was burning if I remember rightly!

Maureen, I think I agree, they are not v accurate. Or keeping up with the times. No Zumba, no shred, no Kettlecise, no spinning.

I am getting hot under the collar watching Question Time, must be worth an extra 100 cals for righteous indignation at least??

I have had a terrible false start to this whole enterprise. I'm so greedy that I couldn't bear to throw out all the Christmas lovelies so have eaten all manner of calorie laden crapola since the weekend and have done no exercise.

feel a bit ashamed reading all about everyones shredding/swimming/gym etc

but not too ashamed to just eat a bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes

am in a rut of self loathing that sends me scuttling to the biscuit tin every night-if I just ate the meals I make I'd be fine but I eat about another 500 cals a day in biscuits/crisps/random pieces of cheese
