I have had a VERY BAD DAY.

Fuck! I get distracted by work for a few hours and everyone buggers off. I was going cray-cray looking for you all. Anyway. I still have a manky cold AND had a flu shot so feel like ass. On the bright side, am really not hungry. Bought a baby carrier today so going to do a couple of nice long walks with dd at the weekend. Assuming she can resist the temptation to claw at my eyes/ face.
DH working nights over the wkend too, sono temptation to get a takeaway/ tub of ice cream etc... hoping for a slightly better loss next week...

Ive had no biscuits or anything this week and have only lost 3/4 of a lb. have got to do the shred more than once a week, i know itll make a difference to.how my body looks!

I need to stop weighing myself as I now find myself rather disappointed that I weigh the same as yesterday.
I too am a saddo recipe reader. I have 200+ cookery books and have read them all. That still doesn't mean I can think of something low cal yet completely delicious to feed my PILs at the weekend. Especially since they aren't fans of vegetables.

I also had a vivid dream about swiss meringue last night. I don't even know what swiss meringue is. I presume it is because I watched Great British Bake oFf last week. But why then didn't I dream about Paul Hollywood's willy then? Damn you subconscious brain.

I might go to see Les mis. But - I am not a fan of musicals. I remember when I went to see Mamma Mia and I laughed when they started singing as it all looked a bit daft.

Right. I feel I have a head start in that I don't even like biscuits or cakes but the festive weight gain was a wake up! If I put on more weight people will start looking at my middle with suspicion again!
As for me
My thighs are 22 in but thats when they are relatively slim and toned! The flab seems to have snuck onto the waist instead.

Morning Chiefs! Too busy to shred for two days now - must get cracking on with it again as when I did it before I really noticed a difference. However, have hospital scan later so can only have hot water and lemon for breakfast so feeling quite virtuous....must NOT reward self with chocolate later!

Don't reward yourself with chocolate. Think of it as a load of old bollocks which is just going to scupper your diet. A mars bar is something daft like 400 cals. That's an hour workout to burn off. It's not WURF it.

I am only going to weigh in on a wednesday at Boots. This is making me feel anxious already.

Today is Friday, we usually have steaks, chips stilton stuffed mushrooms and ceaser salad. That must be a billion calories.... What if I make sweet pot chips, no cheese just grilled mushrooms and a salad with a lemon dressing, and a smaller steak. Is that OK? AM I fooling myself.

I am a 36C, I used to be a 34B...getorf I rather preferred my smaller ones, but am not enjoying my back fat and double tit.

Have the steak and salad, no dressing. That's quite a healthy combination and the protein in the steak should keep you quite full.

This week has been traumatic enough, without knowing my thighs are the size of tree trunks.

There's nowt wrong with tree trunk thighs when that are strong and lean but it sucks when they chafe. Sumo squats and lunges are your friends here.
Also don't be afraid of the big weights. It annoys me nO end when women moan about getting too muscular. You are not going to get muscles like Chyna unless you work out and diet like Chyna.
Also to you pears out there it is easier to bulk up your upper body rather than shrink your bottom with training.

I'm aiming for no thigh chafe by April when we go on holiday.
