I can't even bring myself to type in my weight because I am so ashamed :(

I need to lose 3.5 stone before the end of May (going on holiday with a thin friend) I am doing My Fitness Pal (calorie counting) and I am going to do 1200 calories a day. It's brutal I know but then so was the reading on my scales this morning.

Effing Nora :(

For me there is an 'extra layer' size wise which once i lose that I feel motivated. Like a snake Grin

Pinot · 08/01/2013 17:23

Noddy :) Were you ever a fat biffer?

aJumpedUpPantryBoy · 08/01/2013 17:23

It is hard work to maintain. I lost 2 stone and felt so good then gradually I slipped back into bad habits.
Portion control is my biggest downfall so I am weighing stuff and trying not to eat huge amounts.

noddyholder · 08/01/2013 17:24

I have been on steroids since about 19 so yes definitely. Have to be v strict on carbs but getting harder. I was v podgy year before last just thought sod it and had to get rid of all my clothes really regretted it. I am skinny arms and legs so extra weight i look odd

Pinot · 08/01/2013 17:25

3lb could just be water or a big poo couldn't it?

i could put on 3lb in a day, not even trying that hard.

FellatioNels0n · 08/01/2013 17:27

That is a very big poo Pinot but don't let me make you feel weird about it or anything. Grin

MaureenShit · 08/01/2013 17:28

Shiney your loss is amazing. A whole new you.

FellatioNels0n · 08/01/2013 17:28

That's like...one a half times the size of a bag of sugar. Shock

Pinot, that's gross. You need to see a doctor.

MaureenShit · 08/01/2013 17:28

No you can't Pinot.

MaureenShit · 08/01/2013 17:29

You do need reliable digital scales Pinot.

juneybean · 08/01/2013 17:30

My weight can fluctuate throughout the day by 3lbs but it's usually okay by the next morning.

Pinot · 08/01/2013 17:30

I do feel weird about it :o I don't know how much 3lb is.

I use the wii fit for weighing myself, they're good aren't they?

MaureenShit · 08/01/2013 17:31

That's called clothes ? ;)

I did ww and used to remove my belt and earrings

juneybean · 08/01/2013 17:32

Yeah my mam thinks I'm daft when I strip half naked of a morning to get weighed Blush

noddyholder · 08/01/2013 17:36

I always weigh naked desperate I suppose.

CarriedAwayAnnie · 08/01/2013 17:40

You don't realise how much you snack do you? I just stopped myself from eating the dc leftover dinner.

Didn't even realise I did that Blush

PoohBearsHole · 08/01/2013 17:41

I always weigh myself first thing, no clothes whatsoever and having just been to the loo Blush but at least I am consistent so therefore.......

shine0ncrazydiamond · 08/01/2013 17:42

Yeah kind of maureen. It's nice to be back feeling 'normal' again. I refuse to own a pair of leggings. Smile

I used to gargle with mouthwash before weigh in. I have no idea why. For some reason < clear only to myself > I thought it would knock half a pound off

CarriedAwayAnnie · 08/01/2013 17:46

I weigh naked as well.

SupermanEatsKryptonite · 08/01/2013 17:48

Naked, early morning weighing here too - best way to get dc out of bed Grin

Have a few of you on MFP now, am hoping the shaming factor will keep me from stuffing crap down my gullet. MisfitNotMissFit if anyone else wants to add.

winefairy · 08/01/2013 17:56

I always weigh myself, then step off scales, remove nightwear and then optimistically weigh myself again. Blush

Every. Single. Time.

It's a sickness, I tell you. A sickness.

Lulabellarama · 08/01/2013 17:58

I got rather cross when I went for a repeat prescription of my contraceptive pill. The nurse weighed me and wouldn't even let me take off my boots. I didn't dare ask if I could also remove my wet jeans, but I'd have had them off in a shot if she wasn't so scary.

DashingRedhead · 08/01/2013 18:04

I know the thread's moved on massively since you mentioned it, Baubles but I started power walking last year - and by November ran my first 10K! It was great Smile

noddyholder · 08/01/2013 18:10

It is a sickness as you weigh exactly the same, also no point moving the scales around the room won't help ya!

noddyholder · 08/01/2013 18:11

I ate a packet of mini cheddars and had to add them but calories ok I am silverboo
