Does OXO have the same effect MulledwineGless? And I don't need an excuse to eat avocado!

Thanks Guy, a laugh might do the job. I'm contemplating return to work on Monday, which doesn't help!

EwanHoozami · 05/01/2013 15:56

PromQueen you won't have undone all your good work, but save the seeds for a snack in small quantities if you go on to 'bootcamp light' after the first fortnight.

here's a good resource for seed and nut carb counts (although use the 'net carbs' column)

GuyMartinsSideburns · 05/01/2013 15:56

Thanks Mulled, I'll keep on with the water. Right now all I want to do is tell everyone to sod off, and then go to bed! Grin

Ive got an avocado thats nice and ripe so I'll have that with something for dinner, thank you.

Hello everyone.

Willie, that spreadsheet is amazing. I love spreadsheets. Blush

After my chilli and cauliflower rice meal last night I decided to stock up and start today.

I didn't eat any breakfast as I woke up quite late. Just had lunch of
Iceberg lettuce rolled up with ham, Philly and cucumber inside. Yummy!
And iceberg lettuce with some pâté, hellmans and cucumber. They were supposed to be wraps, but they collapsed but were still very Delicious! Thank you for that idea.

I have tried low carving before but always thought it was about cooked meat and veg. I had no idea what I should or could eat so all the meal plans and updates on what everyone's been having or will be having, is just perfect for me as I'm totally and utterly rubbish at the whole food thing.

I hope those of you who are feeling under the weather are better soon. And that princesss, you DS is not too uncomfortable with the itch and is feeling better soon.

Xxx

NoveltySlippers · 05/01/2013 16:13

Thanks Willie for the (impressively large!) spreadsheet.

Seconding Roobs's question about how we use it as a shared document. I've never used Google docs before. Also - does anyone know whether you can input onto it from a tablet, or do you have to go onto a computer?

Confused
cocolepew · 05/01/2013 16:16

Kracken I felt very nauseous for about 3 days, no vomiting but it seemed never far away, even the smell of things was turning my stomach.

cocolepew · 05/01/2013 16:17

I bought Iceland cauliflower and brocolli cheese, met and friend and forgot tp check the carbs, it's too high Sad.

I'll eat it today and tomorrow and stop for bootcamp.

PrincessSparkle86 · 05/01/2013 16:30

Checking in - I 'm genuinely excited about starting tomorrow although not excited enough to prise the glass of wine out of my hand Hmm

My biggest problem is packed lunches. There is a surfit of carb laden lunch ops round my office or the most gorgeous salad bar in the world but with a salad costing upwards of £8 I need to come up with a home brought option - any ideas?

I've just bought the loveliest metal-lined lunch box so with no horrid plasticky tasting food on the horizon I'm keen for some really delicious ideas. I've earmarked Ewans crust less quiche already.

mumat39 · 05/01/2013 16:36

Princess, that sounds really good.

I really enjoyed my lunch but definitely want something sweet. But the wise words up thread are my mantra at the moment so I'm resisting.

Willie, I need some help with the spreadsheet. My weight is 12st 11.2 lbs. if I do a manual calc. I get 179lbs but if I use the conversion sheet, I get 175. Can help me with that please? Also, should I wait until Monday to enter the weight or can I start today? And, should I renter my weight for Monday, if I do start today? Sorry to bug you with these silly questions.

ToomuchheuchatendofHogmanay · 05/01/2013 16:41

novelty I've always been able to input from my ipad, if that's any help.

mumat39 · 05/01/2013 16:42

Cold ethyl, how do you roast cauliflower? Is it just bung the whole thing in the oven? Thanks

Princess, I meant your meal sounds great. Hopefully the footie will keep your DS distracted from feeling poorly. If you find the cream isn't helping, a chemist recommended bicarbonate of soda diluted in water and then dabbed onto the spots really helped my DD when she had it. She hated the coldness of calamine, but she was only about 2 at the time.

cocolepew · 05/01/2013 16:48

Bathing in bicarb of soda will help ease the itching too.

Coldethyl we have the same birthday! Mine is always just like any other day though. Like the thought of hitting goals & having a treat. Also like the swede replacing ryvita idea. And many thanks for your hard work Willie.

WillieWaggledagger · 05/01/2013 16:54

Mumat39 you need to enter the 12 in the stones box, and the 11.2 in the pounds box, rather than 12.11 in the stones box - does that make sense? 179.2 is correct

You can enter things in the spreadsheet using a phone (you often have to press 'submit' for it to save), but it is easy to make a mistake so if you're not confident hang on until you're on a computer or ask someone else to enter it for you

I meant to say earlier you might find the spreadsheet easier to use in google chrome if you're having problems in Explorer or Firefox. You should be fine in explorer though for just entering your weight though

sybilfaulty · 05/01/2013 16:54

I too have been very ill overnight. I think it's probably Noro as I'm achey and wobbly, but I did eat a lot yesterday. Having said that though, I have eaten HUGE amounts on this WOE and never been sick so I suspect a bug. There are a couple of LC foods that I won't be facing for a while.

Huge hugs to all the sickies / sick children. My youngest had pox when he was 6 months old. He wasn't too unwell with it and has not scarred at all so here's hoping Princess/

happygolucky0 · 05/01/2013 16:55

lucyvfood I have been doing reduced low carb ready for Mon for a few days. The protein is starting to really stop me from feeling hungry all the time. Not sure as only been a few days but am thinking that once I am off the see saw of eating sugar ( like Monday!!!) then I wont be wanting rewards as such like before. Sugary food is already starting to taste really sweet, like too sweet.
