Spreadsheet of Wonderfulness is here

Hope everyone is doing well.

I haven't weighed this morning - was a little bit distracted by a phone call from my lovely SIL in Australia, to announce the safe arrival of Gabriel Paul and Nell Florence Jean! Gabriel weighed 5lbs 2oz and Nell 4lbs 10oz, so good weights to say they are 3 weeks early.

So I'm a great aunty Grin

oh AND those of us still on the spreadsheet have a combined loss (since 1st October) of 254.4 lb / 18st 2.4 lb / 115.4 kg

aren't we marvellous

NewStartSameStory · 23/11/2012 08:38

I am having a trouser issue this morning. I have had to fish out some smaller trousers, the ones I was going to wear fell off. Grin

Jacaqueen · 23/11/2012 08:47

Yes we are all marvellous.

I was out to dinner on Wednesday night and my black velvet trousers were far too big. I still wore them but felt a bit scruffy though rather thin. The last time I wore them I had to shoehorn myself into them (shudders at what that must have looked like).

BIWI · 23/11/2012 08:54

Marvellous, indeed! Brilliantly well done to all of us, and long may we lose our trousers Grin

I wore a pair of trousers the other day that I had never worn. I'd bought them on the basis that 'when I lose a bit of weight they will be fine'. Always a daft thing to do! And they have been languishing in the wardrobe ever since.

Now, though they are actually a bit too big!

I can really see my abs shaping up now, as I lose the last bits. I wouldn't go as far as saying I have anything like a 6 pack, but there's definitely some muscular definition going on there.

About bloody time, mind you!

BIWI

I did same thing ok in lot bigger size than you but I can't keep the bloody thing on ( mind is a pita as had buy some more but good feeling to now I can buy trousers from anywhere Grin ok size 16 still bigger than my final goal of a 12 but smaller than size 24

WillieWaggledagger · 23/11/2012 09:22

yes i know the 'elephant bum' problem with trousers that are too big!

caramelwaffle · 23/11/2012 09:31

TheHc 24 down to 16 - excellent.

18st loss combined is really good.

EwanHoozami · 23/11/2012 09:43

18 stone lost between us! Where is it now, I wonder?

I made this Spanish Chicken recipe last night with a few adaptions (shallots for onions, less lemon and I also bunged in some lurking saffron and smoked paprika) it was GORGEOUS. I do love a chicken thigh.

All this protein seems to be helping my hair grow really quickly - hurrah as I'm growing out a highly unsuitable crop. So many plus sides to this WOE!

NewStartSameStory · 23/11/2012 11:43

Well done catapult!

I am torturing myself by baking all sorts of stuff I can't eat. There is a birthday party here tonight. Thankfully I am excused from the festivities due to comp prep. Although I will be indulging in a very rarely made cake - It is made from almonds and no flour but there is some sugar. However, I figure a small piece for training would be countered by the training. And it is something that is made only once every couple of years so is a proper treat and a favourite!

Doshusallie · 23/11/2012 12:54

NSSS - Tell me about it. DH has just made a batch of gingerbread men with DS2 (Inset day) they smell divine. I have been wrapping xmas presents so it is very Christmassy chez us right now!!

Doshusallie · 23/11/2012 12:55

Lunch was 2 boiled eggs, a cold sausage and left over swede and green beans.

PorkyScratching · 23/11/2012 13:06

Early breakfast was a chicken thigh
Late breakfast was egg, bacon & sausage at Wetherspoons when I met my friend for a cuppy - does anyone have any idea the carb count of their sausages? Im really worried they were carby!

Lunch will be crayfish tail with marie rose sauce & salad

Dinner will be tuna steak, cucumber relish & salad leaves

NewStartSameStory · 23/11/2012 13:11

We haven't even started the christmas baking. that is next week's job, mind you we are having our christmas family get together with ALL the trimmings and presents next weekend so I shall firmly fall off the wagon that weekend Grin otoh I am on my own for christmas so I can be firmly back on the wagon and have a head start on everyone else in terms of getting ready for the new year

captainmummy · 23/11/2012 13:14

Lol at 'sulk off' and 'manflu, sigh'. Got to add the 'sigh'....

Am also baking today, using up old bananas in muffins for the dc, but will take the opp to cook some flaxseed crackers for the weekend. Am alone tomo night so need less no tempations.

Breakfast - 2 scrambled eggs
Lunch - nuts. Greek yog.
Dinner- will be turkey burgers wrapped in lettuce, i think.

WillieWaggledagger · 23/11/2012 14:25

i like seeing how people are planning to eat for the rest of the day

before this WOE i would have said to myself 'today i'm going to eat A, B and C and NOTHING ELSE' and ended up having a biscuit mid-morning and writing off the rest of the day

these days, i know what i'm going to be eating for all meals most days, and i'm not too worried if i deviate from that (in a low carb way obv), but i actually tend to stick to my plan most of the time because i don't really need or want anything else

this WOE really can change your eating behaviour

jan2013 · 23/11/2012 17:37

is anyone going to bother cooking any lowcarb christmas treats this year? ive arranged to bake tomorrow for christmas with mum, i don't think much will be low carb, but i was thinking of doing something with the almond flour i have in the cupboard! it has to taste good though otherwise theres no point as i want to be able to offer it to people if they come to the house, and sometimes treats with no sugar taste a bit naff!!

WineGless · 23/11/2012 17:47
