Hahaha. God I'm so dim.

I got confused by Stealth's 8020. I was looking for a poster with numbers. Got it now eighty. Grin

I'm still laughing at myself.

MilkshakeMaker · 13/08/2012 06:37

Well, as of this morning I'm 11st11 and really pleased as was hoping for a maintain, its not been the best of weeks and I think loosing a lb is purely chance but I'll take it

Good luck to everyone for today and will check in later

IOutrunBoltInMySpareTime · 13/08/2012 06:38

Hi everyone, I'm 1/4 of the way through MM and currently drinking my 1cal cup of black teaGrin
Whoever wanted a non-jump DVD, I did do one called "yogalates", it's good, just don't try the whole thing first few times, start with a section or two.
I have work today, possible miscommunication about Weds though, DH is definitely not off with the DCs, I am probably not off either (boss is not sure, will check today), everyone else who normally looks after them is on holiday this week (they're 10&8, too young to leave all day). OopsBlush, I can't believe I let a day fall through the cracks, it was going so well, I had approached childcare vs annual leave like a military operation.
We'll work something out probably plonk the DCs in front of serial DVDs as DH works from home but I feel a bit foolishBlush.
How are we all doing on this fresh new untainted thread?

StealthPolarBear · 13/08/2012 07:07

well done MM :)
Good luck for today Bolt - surely at 10 and 8 they will behave while you work? And the lovely weather we've had here has turned into greyness and rain today, so a DVD sounds a good idea (probbly what I'll end up doing too)

IOutrunBoltInMySpareTime · 13/08/2012 07:21

I work at a day nursery, I'm not allowed to bring them because of ratios. I'm mostly hoping boss made a mistake and I booked weds as A/L , she really wasn't sure whether I was in or not.
I weighed in today, 13 0, 2lb down on midweek, and my BMI is under 36 (it's been sticking at 36.01 all week, now 35.75)
I can now see the 12 somethings approaching, I'm getting towards my goal of 11Smile.

fluffyraggies · 13/08/2012 07:55

Hello all!

Thanks for the PM Bonkey

Welcome to newbies . Yay for MM :)
I've not weighed myself this morning as i weighed yesterday and was so chuffed and surprised to find i'd lost that lb i'm scared to spoil it, lol.

I searched online and found a Zumba fitness class near me last night and have emailed the instructor to see if i can join. I will have to go alone - quite daunted by that - but i've been motivated by you lot and WILL do it.

So gosh darn it thank you guys Grin

InMySpareTime · 13/08/2012 08:03

I'm back with my non-olympic username, it was quite unwieldy anyway.

StealthPolarBear · 13/08/2012 08:07

Hi everyone :)

archareastie · 13/08/2012 08:15

inmy apparently I've lost a stone and a half this year (and at least half a stone of that in the past month or so) and tbh I can't really see a difference in my clothes. I was wondering if my clothes are/were just always really badly fitting or something Hmm . And they were my actual size too, I'm not squeezing myself into anything smaller than my actual size Grin . My jeans look a bit baggy in the leg, but then, they never fitted that well anyway!

bonkey thanks for pm

Good luck for all those weigh ins today!

MrsPnut · 13/08/2012 08:18

Morning, last night was eventful then.

Back on track today after a bit of a boozy weekend, but I haven't had any crisps or sweet things which is a bonus.
My mum is taking the kids home with her today so I will probably try to exercise every day this week. I might even dust off the shred DVD.

StealthPolarBear · 13/08/2012 08:24

arch I too felt it took ages to actually drop a dress size. I've lost 4 and a half stone in total and feel as though I've gone from an 18 to a 16 Confused. In reality I've gone from an 18 being tight to a 14 being tight (and a 16 a bit too loose). But still not a huge drop in dress size really.

fluffyraggies · 13/08/2012 08:42

I read somewhere ages ago that it for most people at around a size 16/18 ish you have to loose about 2 stone for other people to really start noticing you've lost weight.

I can vouch for that because i lost 3 stone about 10 years ago and it was only when i'd lost that first 2 that the well meaning 'oooh, don't loose too much'es started. (i was in no way thin, i'd like to add - i was between 10 and 11 st)

Personally i think i can feel when i've lost even just a few lbs. Some of my clothes are 12s most are 14s and i've got a couple of 16 skirts from Tesco (damn them, does anyone else find their sizing small?) and they all start looking better quite quickly on me i find, when i diet.

chipsandmayonnaise · 13/08/2012 08:51

Good Morning all! Thanks for the PMs Bonkey and lollipop. Just caught up on the (sssh) other thread. Wow- went a bit wild and woolly there! All I know is that I want to be healthy and the best version of me. No justification needed.

My plan to eat half portions of course fell at the wedding hurdle Grin but had a GREAT time! And no family members made any comment at all about my weight (unusual). It was a blast, and DH went home to the DCs so I could stay out dancing. Gorgeous food - actual filet steak! Amazing chocolate torte and great little canapes of mini egg florentines with little pastries, spinach and quails eggs. Had a fab time, and the wedding was moving and beautiful.

So, now that personal hill that I was dreading is out of the way I feel revived. And ready to stop crash dieting and to concentrate on my health.

Just want to say- I love these threads. i have really felt supported, and i love how everyone is really looking out for each other. Thanks

Hope you all have great days. Thank heavens i have a day off work today. My head hurts just a little bit.

Coffee.......

StealthPolarBear · 13/08/2012 08:52

Sounds fantastic chips, and a proper night off was probably a good plan.

BonkeyHasGOLDMollocks · 13/08/2012 09:15

Morning :)

Every one made it over ok?

Weigh in in a second ......

StealthPolarBear · 13/08/2012 09:28

Well bonkey? And Kato had some stuff to tell us?
I'm back on it today but after a weekend of eating what I want I am so hungry! No houmous for my ryvita so will walk into the village with the kids soon, that should be 40mins of walking (plus probably carrying a 3yo)

slothprincess · 13/08/2012 09:29

Morning all. Sorry for lack of personals, I haven't got time to read through yet after getting distracted by the mayhem that seemed to ensue last night. Thank you Bonkey for the new thread. Welcome newcomers and hello familiar losers!

Weigh in for me today. 2 pounds off! So that takes me to 11 stone 8 pounds.

Good luck everyone who's weighing in today and I'll pop in later to read back properly.

BonkeyHasGOLDMollocks · 13/08/2012 09:31

Oh balls. :(
