it's a sunday feeling FH&F. or at least it is here (I thinkHmm)

also confessing to wagon-falling-off here. Think the wagon door is dodgy...

oh beeSad. You are a saint.

(as are you huff)

FaceCrack · 22/04/2012 15:17

Oh bee, Fh&F and huff. Sad

bee what do you think he'll do? Hiw are things? You are positively saintly, I have no idea how you do it?
FH&F maybe you are full of gas after your speed curry and you jut need a massive fart. Don't worry about it, some days I feel the size of a house, others I feel a skinny minny.
huff I have no idea how you do it. My DD is rather a chunk and I'm fed up of MiL calling her fat. She's 13months!

I've pretty much been good today, other a few bites of a pain au choc. I'm shattered, my sister is coming to watch DD so I can go to the gym for an hour. So kind but I'd rather sleep...

FairhairedandFrustrated · 22/04/2012 17:02

Maybe. Am dressed now - in jogging bottoms and a hoody Blush

Am in a mood & can't get out of it, but will have to try.

Dh went to Tesco & came back without quark, went back & came home with some yog shite that the "girl in Tesco said was the same" Hmm he also brought a huge bag of tayto and some new wisps bites,

I went back to Tesco & they had no quark but I got ff yog for the lasagne and more kiwis am going to struggle now he's the chocolate opened.

Bee, hope all is ok?

MadeInScotlandFromGirders · 22/04/2012 19:22

Sorry your feeling down today ff&f I have days like that too.

I see I'm not the only one who fell off the wagon yest, must of been that dodgy wagon door as you say ria.

Today I have had
B - wheat a bix and honey ha and hb plus 1 syn for honey.
D - roast new pots, 2 fried eggs, mushrooms and wholemeal toast. Sort or brinner.

Fruit salad mixed with ff yog.

FaceCrack · 22/04/2012 19:27

Definitely a dodgy door again today

kid · 22/04/2012 19:32

Bee, is he home yet?

Fairhaired, hope you have a relaxing evening (without the munchies as thats how I relax!) and are feeling a bit brighter in the morning.

MadeInScot hope your feet are firmly back on the wagon now, sounds like your meals for today have been good.

Facecrack, enjoy the gym. I think the nap sounds more appealing.

Ria, I hope your wagon door is all fixed now. Maybe apply some superglue to stop it coming off again?!

I had in-laws round for dinner today and I intended for the day to go well. I did okayish, but not perfect.

I did mess up with breakfast though. I realised just as I was about to eat it and decided to eat it anyway. I was having a red day, so I had bacon and scrambled egg but I added 200g baked beans with them which I realised were not free on red days.

For dinner, I had roast lamb which I'd made using SW recipe so just fry light, no olive oil. I did allow myself 3 small roast potatoes which had been cooked in olive oil and 2 parsnips too. Oh and some gravy made from bisto granules.

DH poured me a glass of white wine and diet lemonade and I had 1 slice of white bread, no butter and nutella.
I've also had an apple and a mullerlight. I am still quite hungry so not sure how the night will go. There is 1 apple left and a couple of satsumas which I think will be mine before I go to bed.

I need to meal plan for the next week. I am back at the gym tomorrow so hopefully I'll have a decent DoD result.

FairhairedandFrustrated · 22/04/2012 20:28

Thanks for the thoughts, it's lovely to know we're not alone when we have days like this.

Dinner was sw lasagne, (ex lean mince, tin toms, puree, onion, mushrooms, cheese sauce made from ff yog and pepper with an egg mixed into) and heA of mozarella (well have used today & tomorrow's heA as i've half of it left)

Also ate a slice of home made garlix bread and half a slice of home made pizza (before catching myself on!) but had a small glass of white wine and some of the am so angry at myself mini wispa bites!

See, if there's nothing here I won't eat them. I know i'd feel better about myself if I could just cut out the picking & get back on 100%. I have had so many good days then blow it all.

But will be back on the wagon tomorrow and will weigh in on Wednesday, no matter what!

Rianoceros · 22/04/2012 21:52

kid, couldn't that be an EE day?

I have not even tried today.Blush it is not the wagon door. it is me (as if we didn't all know that)

my excuse is a pretty nasty TOTM, but I had no PMT-symptoms this time except the headache, I am 3 days in I think, and the stomach cramps and weepy-feelings are just kicking in. I want to crawl under the table and cry. And when I'm feeling crap about myself I find it harder to make myself do the things that would make me feel better IYSWIM.

AND, I had to take DS1 to buy boots. He didn't want to be there. It didn't help. And he was really mean to the little ones, pushing them around etc. I couldn't find any shoes for DS2, who wasn't happy about that. I did find the paint for the secret transformation of DS1s room though.

I had to help DH finish painting the porch as he was in pain again. One of the mums from school was delivering SW leaflets while I was painting (with 3 onlookers - again). My decorating clothes are not fit to be seen inBlush. Porch looks nice though.

so because I was busy painting and DH was busy watching the SW-friendly bolognese didn't get made (even though I asked him to at least chop the veg) ... I have had a toastie and pizza, and too many peanuts. And wine.

at myself.

bee hope all is ok with you.

LakeFlyPie · 22/04/2012 22:20

Hallo Smile

An indulgent weekend has been had by all, now everyone jump aboard the wagon for a fresh start to the week

Hark at me who has been so far off the wagon recently it had disappeared over the horizon Blush

Sympathy to FHF, it's grim when you have one of those grumpy days when nothing seems to go right. Seems like you've had a pretty low syn week, won't today's extras be absorbed in the general weeks allowance?
Hope tomorrow's a better day.

Oh Bee Sad hope you're OK.

I've enjoyed a lovely birthday today, a long lie in, then spoiled with lots of cards and presents. Went for swim and sauna and then out for dinner with DP and DC for a delicious Lebanese meal. Don't think it was too disastrous syn wise although was rather heavy on the olive oil and pitta bread front. Avoided booze and pudding though so could have been a lot worse.
DOD will tell.
DS1(nearly 4) has been worrying all day about the absence of birthday cake. I realised it was because he wanted to do candles and singing, so I found a gingerbread man I'd stashed as a treat for DC and managed to stick a candle on to do singing / blowing etc. He seemed happy with that I did have half a gingerbread arm

Food today:
BF: Muller yog
L: Banana, grapes, apple
D: All sorts of yummy Lebanese delights, e.g. houmous, falafel, fatoosh, ful madamas, toasted halloumi cheese + too many pitta breads
Ate out at DC tea time so about to have some strawberries and melon and possibly yog.
No idea how many syns that all was but another couple of good days before DOD and I'm optimistic for a loss.

LakeFlyPie · 22/04/2012 22:23

__

here you go Ria ^ line drawn, hope you're feeling better tomorrow and able to climb back aboard.

What colour's the porch?

kid · 22/04/2012 22:43

My decorating clothes are my pyjamas and one of DH's t-shirts. I always end up covered in paint somehow when I paint.

I didn't think today needed to be a ee day. I realised that 150g of the baked beans could be passed off as a HEb and then I'd only have to syn 50g.
I've still had some syns today but I won't bother counting them up now as I haven't had anything else to eat since dinner, well apart from the 2 satsumas.

I've just ordered shopping but it won't be hear until Tuesday night so I have to come up with 2 dinners with the food in the freezer. I'm sure there is something in there SW friendly. If not, I'll live on couscous for a couple of days.

I'm going to do chicken drumsticks tomorrow making it a red day so I need to come up with a red day packed lunch for work.

I first WI last Monday although there was no change for DoD on Wednesday so technically, I can have a sneaky peak tomorrow, can't I?

SlinkyB · 22/04/2012 22:45

Flippin' eck Lake fair play to you being so good on your birthday! Happy Birthday to you by the way Smile. I so would've had cake and lots of wine.

Sorry been away for a bit, am always lurking but usually off the wagon. Am usually pretty good with having a healthy/SW-friendly breakfast, lunch and dinner, it's just all the snacking inbetween. Have had two rotten colds in as many weeks, and am dreadful for comfort eating.

Still, have ordered a my wedding dress in a size 14 and am determined to fit into it come the end of August !!

bee hope you're ok, well done on coming back to the thread.

face is DD all better now? A friend of mine's DD had bad nappy rash due to teething, then ended up with thrush bless her (14mo). Didn't know babies could get it.

who remember her

grinningbee · 23/04/2012 08:06

Morning all!

FHF Hope you're feeling better today flower. You're sooooo good, you know it's only post curry bloatedness. A good fart'll sort you Wink

Ria yay for the decorating!

Lake Happy belated birthday! Your food sounds yummy, and well done on being so restrained... not sure I could have. birthday gingerbread man was genius.

Face Maintenance will be round shortly Grin Fancy stealing bakery yumminess from dd.... Wink

Kid There's nothing wrong with a sneaky peak. I do it every day Grin

I am not a saint. I am a chicken because I'm still putting up with stuff. I thought he was going out to thump someone. He didn't, but we had words anyway. His work has ruined both days of the weekend. Grrrr. He also used the f word at ds which is such a massive no-no to me. It's the first time he's done it at either of them.

Anyway. Nuff of him.

I've been very good over the weekend, but only because of such a stupendously awful last few weeks.

My food for today:

Ready brek, 1 x ryvita with 1 tsp reduced sugar marmalade (0.5 syn), banana
Omelette with whatever veggies I can find to chuck in, yogurt, apple
Left over sweet chilli chicken and lots of roasted veggies, 2 x hobbit bread

OP posts:
grinningbee · 23/04/2012 08:11

Forgot to add 1 syn for the sweet chilli chicken (the sweet chilli sauce). Still, not bad for the day!

MadeInScotlandFromGirders · 23/04/2012 08:51

Morning all,bee sorry your having issues with the thing, do you think things will improve after the move?

Im absolutly fuming as my bank account has been scammed by facebook ireland via DH paypal account for facebook credits, 1, i never play games of FB and its registered to my email,2, DH dosent have FB 3, its DH paypal but my bankcard attached.

thankfully its an account that is only used to stash money i keeping aside in (like dd birthday this weekend and my baby sitter money as me and DH were going on a rare night out togethar! Grrrr).

Spent the last hour calling bank and email paypal, just want to cry!

anyway im not going to de rail in this time of stress as usual so;
B - banana (pre run snack, but now not running as to up a height with worry)
L - ?????
D - chilli and salad (freezer leftovers to take to work)

Hope you all have a good day and dont forget to check your paypal/bank accounts for the scum scammers. Angry

grinningbee · 23/04/2012 11:00

Scotland Shock that's terrible! So sorry. You can do without that nonsense. Hope it gets sorted soon Sad

The rubbish with Thing is a bit of a saga. Even I'm bored by it! Not sure if it'll change when we move, but we'll see.

I realised on the way back from Asda just now (baby event starts today - bargain buggy bought!) that what's missing amongst other things is music. I always had stuff playing in the house or car. Now we have children's telly or H's sport, and he'll stick Capital or sport on in the car.

Well. I had the radio on driving down the A1 and a song came on. This is so silly to admit, but when I realised it was a new song by an old crush of mine I'm amazed the smile on my face fitted in the car! And then the penny dropped - I never listen to my stuff anymore. How sad is that? My cd's have been condemmed to storage, and have been for 3.5 years. S'pose iIve been too busy with the littlies up to now to realise.

Anyway. Enough prattling. Off to build the new buggy for pickup in 35 minutes!

OP posts:
Rianoceros · 23/04/2012 13:48

Angry for you girders. hope it is quickly sorted.

get your CDs out bee. time to sneak in a few things for yourself.

ironing mountain beckons. I have SO much stuff to do this week, I'm exhausted thinking about it.

grinningbee · 23/04/2012 15:41

Ria I shall find them when we move. And I'm buying a cd player for the kitchen .

Something has really gone through me today . And all I've had is what I wrote earlier, well, up to the lunchtime bit anyway.

Might be time for a cuppa and a rich tea in a mo, but not sure whether to have the biccy. It's weigh in day for me tomorrow! I've been checking progress and funnily enough, I think there'll be a loss Grin

OP posts:
kid · 23/04/2012 16:15

I had over £300 stolen from my bank account from DS's xbox account. It was my normal account, where my wages are paid into and they took that amount over the space of 7 days. I got the account suspended and the card blocked instantly. Xbox have already given me £200 back so I'm just waiting for the other £100. I check my bank account most days now to keep an eye on it. I was furious when it happened so can imagine how you are feeling MadeInScot

I'm booked in for a gym class tonight, I think I feel like going which is better than my usual dread of going. My gym buddy isn't going again, thats 6 weeks now. I'm not counting anymore. I think I'll worry about myself and no-one else.

Food for today is:

B- 2 weetabix (HEb), milk (HEa)
L- 6 ryvita crackerbread (HEb), cooked chicken, cottage cheese
mullerlight, apple, satsuma
D- chicken drumsticks. I would have salad with them but don't have any in the house so will just make do with the chicken with maybe some cucumber and onion.

Definitely a green day tomorrow, they are so much easier with work.

FairhairedandFrustrated · 23/04/2012 18:47

Girders, that's awful Shock hope it's sorted one way or another soon!

Have been working all day today (day job not sw job) and am home, showered & in jammas! Food today was ok.

B - banana, kiwi, pear.
Snack - kiwi, grapes
L- left over lasagne from yesterday, baby gem lettuce, tomatoes & cucumber followed by more grapes, plums & kiwi.

Snack was grapes & muller light.

Dinner is gammon steak, sw chips, beans & egg.

Kid do you find you have better losses on green & original days or do you just prefer them?

kid · 23/04/2012 19:20

I don't have good losses on any but that's due to messing up most weekends. I did ok this weekend and i had a sneaky peek this morning and I'm 1lb down since weds which is rubbish considering I've been trying really hard.

I didn't make it to gym tonight but I did level 2 day 1 of shred. Gym is definitely easier!

Does anyone have a good red day snack I can have tonight? I probably won't have the ingredients but i reckon I'll need a snack a bit later.

I cooked chicken drumsticks in a variety of herbs and spices tonight, everyone enjoyed it which is a first!

FairhairedandFrustrated · 23/04/2012 20:13

I'm boring as in All I snacked on when doing original days is lean ham & cottage cheese made into a roll with toms or grapes inside.
Or cooked chicken breasts, bacon and egg mashed in a cup.

kid · 23/04/2012 20:27

I had cottage cheese for lunch and although I like it, I really felt sick after eating it. I was worried it was out of date but couldn't tell as the foil lid which I had thrown away had the BBD on it. It did have green bits in it but it was chives Grin I think it was okay until the 2nd May but I was a bit concerned either way. But, I haven't been sick so I assume it was fine after all.

I've had a muller light and some diet pepsi and am not feeling hungry at the moment. There is no fruit left in the house and no biscuits either.
I was about to make rice pudding but realised at the last minute that its only free on green days.
I'll make some for tomorrow I think.

Tomorrows food is:

B- 2 weetabix (HEb) milk (HEa)
L- potato wedges with onion, garlic, tomatoes and 28g cheese (HEa)
D- Vegetable bryiani which I will be making tomorrow. If any good, I'll post the recipe for anyone that wants it.

I've already made lunch, so organised, and I feel so in control of the diet malarky at the moment. Long may it continue and rub off on anyone that might be struggling.

LakeFlyPie · 23/04/2012 21:59

Evening Smile

girders - hope your day improved, Angry at scammers

Lovely to 'see' you Slinky - know exactly what you mean about eating SW plan meals but then adding all the extras. Good that you've got your dress to keep you on track.

Kid - you are clearly in control ATM, keep it up, it's v motivating Smile
I always have intention to have some red days but fall into green more easily.
Tend to snack on fruit and yogs which are free on both anyway.

Bee looking forward to your loss, I haven't been back on the scales yet, I might weigh in tomorrow morning.

I've never got my head around EE, it was just being introduced when I last attended RL group and I felt like it would be too restrictive as I often have cereal / porridge and milk for bf and then that's HEs gone for the day when it's barely started. I take milk in coffee too so need a couple of HEa's which the old school red / green allows.

Anyway, news of the day is speed curry Grin
Thanks for the tip FHF, I have seen mention of mushy pea curry before and passed it off as an extremely bad concept but the name 'speed curry' lured me in!
Even though I'm not a fan of chip shop curry sauce it was surprisingly palatable and am glad I only made a half measure of the recipe as there's gallons of the stuff!
Although I usually have the constitution of an ox (famous last words) am mildly anxious of 'repurcussions' as have to sit in a 3 hour meeting tomorrow afternoon (and travel there and back by train) Shock

Food today was:
BF: Cinnamon porridge + banana
L: Courgette soup + hobbit wholemeal roll, melon
D: Potato and pea 'speed curry' + brown rice
S: Slice of ham, grapes and probably some strawberries and yog later.

FairhairedandFrustrated · 23/04/2012 22:26

Ooh am glad you tried it flaky!! And even more glad it tasted good :)

It's official, I am greedy! Had a lovely sw dinner & heaps of fresh fruit afterwards, but just had to finish off the last bit of sw lasagne whilst dh was having hot buttered toast with coffee! What's the betting he has a loss this week & I don't?!

Anyway to finish off diary for today have to add rest of lasagne & a mars celebration sweet.
