I'm 5 ft 2 and I'm aiming for 10stone for now. After that I'm going to aim for 9stone.

I'm so pleased with everyone's results last night. Smile

Food:
B: fruit and ff nat yog
L: salmon and potato salad with chilli dressing (1syn)
D: spaghetti carbonara using parmesan as HEA. Salad
Heb: 2x-'alpen lights.

grinningbee · 19/04/2012 08:21

Morning!

Well done everybody, and congrats on the 2 stone badge Facecrack Smile

My food for the day will be:

Ready brek, 1 x ryvita dark and 1 tsp jam (1/2 syn), banana
Omelette with cherry tomatoes, yogurt and an apple
Left over quorn chilli and rice, 2 x slices hobbit bread

I'm 5ft 3, and am wanting to get down to 10 stone first of all, then look at maybe trying another half a stone after that and see what happens. I have 28 weeks until my birthday so would really like to have reached my first target by then Grin

Lake Sadly the housing game doesn't work like that. I'd be beating down doors or camping on office doorsteps if it'd help. The empty house is housing association and has already been given to someone. Why it is still empty after all this time I have no idea. I had to go past it twice last night to and from our playgroup committee meeting and honestly, it made me cry that we have to leave the village. Bah!

How is everyone this fine rainy day?

OP posts:
grinningbee · 19/04/2012 08:22

Ooops, forgot to add 1.5 syns on the chilli - so a total of 2 syns today.

OP posts:
Chocolategirl3 · 19/04/2012 08:43

First target is my 10% off which I think is 19 lbs (dont have books with me at the moment) so 7lbs to go to reach that (hopefully within 3 weeks)

Ultimate aim is 3 stone possibly 3 1/2, obviously this will not happen by my holiday at Wit but by Christmas would be lovely! (hoping for 2st off for holiday, bikini bikini)

You can all remind me of the above target when or if i start to slip!! x

Chocolategirl3 · 19/04/2012 08:49

food for today

B- Activia fat free yogurt, boiled egg, small bunch of grapes, golden delicious
L - last nights dinner as mentioned in post last night -1 syn followed by muller light yogurt and Pink Lady apple
D- syn free burger (local butcher does them) with heb pitta served with either syn free chips or a jacket potato, mangetout and beans, salad cream 70% fat free -1 syn,hea-milk

Total syns = 2

Huffpot · 19/04/2012 10:18

Facecrack huge congratulations on the 2 stone sparkle - it definitely suits you!

Big congratulations to all the losers...onwards and downwards

Target at the moment for me is a looooooooong way away! I'm aiming for about 10 stone.
At the moment I'm 16stone 1.5lbs so still a fair whack to go

B:weetabix with hot water,a dash of milk and a banana and apple
L:not 100% sure yet as I'm off out to the hospital but probably some pasta and veg
D:chicken and veg with garlic and thyme in the slowcooker and smelling good already!
Snacks: Mugshot, muller maybe or fruit salad with free Asda greek yoghurt

Rianoceros · 19/04/2012 10:52

morning all

lovely bubble and squeak gone down very well. though I am going to cut back on this cooked breakfast malarky!

I am 5ft 10, and aiming for 13st I think, which is the very top-end of my "healthy weight". Anything lower would be lovely of course, but as 13 stone is so out of reach at the moment, I can hardly imagine being that, let alone less. If I ever get there I would maybe rethink and go for 11 stone, but I don't even remember being much less than that when I was a teenager!

jacket potato and ham salad for lunch and spag bol and salad tonight. I might make soup for tomorrow.

have a good daySmile

MadeInScotlandFromGirders · 19/04/2012 11:05

Morning all.
Well done too all the losers, tis an impressive list this week!

I'm 5f 6 and I'm currently 13s 1 and my mini goal is 12s by my birthday so I have 7 weigh ins too lose 15lbs. I think charts say I should be 10s 7 to be healthy but I will be happy at 11st if h ever make it that low! Currently the lowest I have been post children.

Today's food is
B ff yog and satsuma
L 2 small whole meal toast, 2 fry light fried eggs, mushrooms and beans
D chilli rice and salad

2 syns for spread on toast which was hb and cheese on my chilli ha .

Special k fiber plus are a pound On offer in Morrisons at the min.

grinningbee · 19/04/2012 11:21

Mmmm I fancy soup now you've mentioned it Ria.

Think I need to find a nice syn free one for the munchy moments. I am ravenous! I've had my porridge, banana and ryvita, 2 big cups of tea, and just had one more banana (the first one was shared with the dc) and my tummy is growling! Must be the lack of crap.

In other news, I've just looked up cream eggs and they're a whopping 9 syns each. Yikes. Still, they're not likely to go off in a hurry Grin

OP posts:
MaresyDotes · 19/04/2012 12:59

I am well chuffed that on my first day I'm going to be OK with my planned food (though pretty much up to the limit with the syns)! It's fab, isn't it, what you are allowed Free? (eyeing humungous pineapple I bought yesterday)

B: oats with soy milk and a Tbsp golden syrup
L big ham salad with 2tbsp houmous
D chicken chasseur, new potatoes & veggies

Syns are golden syrup, houmous and the chasseur sauce (will make homemade next time, that'll be free!)

I haven't got a Target weight yet, just the Club 10 target, not really sure what weight I want to end up Confused, just want to fit in smaller clothes!

pixiestix · 19/04/2012 13:07

Well done everyone! Great list! Its my RL weigh in tonight and I?m going to be gutted if I don?t get a good loss ? I have been perfectly saintly all week.

Nice one Bra - top of the list!

Doro you are sooooo close to your 2 stone!

Bee maybe the house that is empty is in an even worse state than the one they offered you and that why its still empty? Maybe its a blessing in disguise! Grin

Sorry your body is up to its old tricks Chocolate - but like Kid says, next week you will definitely lose and get your stone sticker. I am being really thick but what is Wit week?

Well done on your two stone Facey! You are zooming along now.

Kid re targets, I am 5ft 1 as well and I have a target in mind of 9st 5. I always wanted a target of 8st 13 but both the consultants I have asked have laughed in my face told me that they don?t think that is realistic. And judging how long it is taking me to get to 9st 5 then maybe they have a point. I still feel massive though and my wobbly bits are still wobbling so I might have a rethink when I finallyget to that weight.

Rianoceros · 19/04/2012 13:52

pixie, I think chocolate meant spring bank/whitsun holiday week?

have to change plan for tonight as the litle DC had mince for school dinner!

FairhairedandFrustrated · 19/04/2012 14:48

Wow well done everyone, what an impressive list of losses!! (claps)

Well done on the 2st award face crack!!

Alas my loss is 8st 1lb, not 11lb (though it was at one time!!)

Pixie I'm only 4ft 10" so 8st is middle of the road for me.

Food today has been good so far

B: banana, activia, grapes, 2 satsumas.
Snacks: kiwi, pink lady apple
L: lettuce, mixed tomatoes, green pepper, beetroot, ham, slice roast beef, cucumber, ex light mayo (2syns) and heB of wholemeal bread. Followed by a yoghurt and melon.

Dinner tonight is speed curry with rice.

kid · 19/04/2012 20:05

Just finished dinner, bit late tonight as I had a meeting at DD's school about an intervention programme they started her on. It took us 25 minutes to walk there in the rain and the meeting only lasted 10 minutes. At least it wasn't raining on our 25 minute walk home.

I made roasted butternut squash and pasta for dinner. It had chillies in it and my mouth is feeling a bit too hot right now. Not my favourite meal but quite quick and easy to make, especially if you buy the pre-chopped butternut squash. Lazy I know but time saving.

Hmm, what to have for lunch tomorrow? Might get my other batch of falafels out of the freezer and its a takeaway tomorrow night (chick chowmein) so no more cooking for me until Saturday, yay.

Interesting to hear others targets, I do want to set a target so I have a goal rather than just trying to lose weight. Will see what I weigh on next DoD and make a decision then. Probably settle for 10st something atm I think.

pixiestix · 19/04/2012 20:09

Just got back from my RL group and I lost 4lbs!! Grin Grin Grin Wheeeeeeee!
Bet loads of you still beat me on the list next week though! Grin

kid · 19/04/2012 20:15

well now we know what we are up against Grin
I'd be happy to match your loss, but even happier to beat it of course!

CantSleepWontSleep · 19/04/2012 20:35

Well done pix - that's fab!

I don't have a target kid - will wait and see how I feel, but I have at least another 4 stone to go I think.

FH&F - you had me going then, but have checked back and it is 3 stone something that you have lost, not 8 stone something! That would have been most impressive!

So, food for today so far:
B wholewheat spaghetti, cheese, melon
L banana, lentil and egg kedgeree, beetroot
D butternut squash risotto + feta, green beans
snack: toast (HEb) and butter (syns)
Might have another treat type snack (poss my graze box 'copacabana' which is brazil nuts (other HEb) and milk and dark choc discs), esp as I burned 831 calories at the gym today.

LakeFlyPie · 19/04/2012 21:31

Evening Smile

Good loss pix
Interesting to see everyone's targets and heights, didn't know there were so many titches around.
bra we're matched for height and target, at the height of my previous SW success I was 10.3, size 10 jeans were loose and I felt fabulous. It lasted about 2 months before I got pg with DS1 and morning sickness led me down a treacherous ginger biscuit and flapjack lined path Hmm
Which reminds me, many congrats FOD, hope you are feeling OK.
Bee it's a bugger that housing is so complicated and stressful, hope your move goes smoothly, sounds like you're pretty organised.
CSWS your meals make me smile, love the interchangeable BF, L, D options Grin

Food today (green again):
BF: Muesli (HEb), FF yog, apple
L: Cous cous, tomatoes, orange, apple
D: Spag bog (HEb) + bit of parmesan (HEa), salad
Was starving when I got back from work but managed to avoid hot cross buns and had a bowl of ratatouille as snack whilst DC ate.
Evening snackage may include yog and fruit
I always have at least 3 cups of coffee / day so milk in that is at least HEa, possibly a bit more and therefore syns.
Am going very low syn ATM whilst my re-starter motivation is sky high, but will have to watch out and do some proper syn counting if / when some synned treats creep in.
Must admit other reason for minimal syn intake this week is a birthday meal planned for sunday at Lebanese restaurant which I imagine will be heavy on the olive oil and may involve booze and baklava.
Hopefully my flexible syns will see me through if I'm moderately sensible or sensibly moderate Grin

Hedgepig · 19/04/2012 22:27

Evening all, wow lots of lovely menus have been posted.

I missed the weigh in yesterday but I was 11st 5lb so way over my target, I am really not doing well at this maintaining malarkey Sad I just seem to have lost my determination and I'm not sure what to do. I have gone back to writing back everything down before I eat it and have managed to stay below 15 syns (14.5 syns!) I really do not want to put the weight I have lost back on.

Pix bloomimg brilliant loss well done.

I think I may try pasta for breakfast CSWS, but maybe with fruit rather than cheese.

CantSleepWontSleep · 19/04/2012 22:30

I just discovered some leftover bolognese sauce in the fridge. Would spag bol for breakfast be a step too far even for me?

CantSleepWontSleep · 19/04/2012 22:30

Bah! Grin

Hedgepig · 19/04/2012 22:31

Oh sorry forgot today about my target. I'm 5ft 7in and wanted to be in healthy BMI I had a target of 10.5 to 11st in my head when I stated and set the 10.5 as my target in RL group. In the end I got to 11st and reset this as my target.

Hedgepig · 19/04/2012 22:33

I think I could to do spag Bol for breakfast, but only if it was cold and I had a hangover Grin

kid · 19/04/2012 22:41

right, I've had a play with the BMI calculator and to get in the healthy weight range bracket, I have to lose 1st 12lb.
I've got a holiday booked for August, thats perfectly realistic, isn't it? I think its about 15 DoDs till I go and 26lb to lose. Not much room for falling off the wagon though so I guess I'll have to try that bit harder than I have been trying.

kid · 19/04/2012 22:45

I can only manage weetabix for breakfast. Today I managed to put some strawberries in it but they made me feel a bit sick tbh.

I finished off eating my roulade cake today, it was so delicious. My kids helped eat it so I guess we'll be making more of them in future.
I threw the choc mousse away, it was vile.
