The first week i wore a dress instead of jeans I lost 4lb- now I'm scared to go in jeans again in case I gain! but seeing as ds doesn't seem to want a nap this pm I won't get any ironing done and I might have to stay in my jeans.
Facecrack were you mis before? Sorry if I'm wrong, I'm still attaching personalities to names here.
Ria well done on getting the essay in

FaceCrack · 17/04/2012 16:22

pix set yourself one goal and tell us why it is. We can then forcefully encourage you to go to whatever it is. Thanks for recognising me pal. I should think so seeing as we've been on this thread since THE END OF TIME.

bra I don't blame you with the jeans, I'd do the same!

brafullofcrumbs · 17/04/2012 17:00

Thanks for the pm facecrack sorry I didn't recognise you!
DS finally went to sleep ( not before he'd managed to pull his blackout blind down off the wall though,) so I have a choice of two dresses to wear tonight. Would it be taking things too far to weigh each dress to decide which to wear? :o

FaceCrack · 17/04/2012 17:04

Grin I think you are vairy sneaky wise!

kid · 17/04/2012 17:30

I'm off to attempt to make my falafels now. We had the spicy bean burgers last night and DH said he doesn't want sawdust again tonight Grin
Maybe I shouldn't bother giving him any falafels as I really don't think he'll like them. They can be freezed so thats ok by me, as long as they taste okay that is.

Good luck with WI bra

FaceCrack · 17/04/2012 20:44

Im happy to do the list tomorrow, so PM your stats ladies.

brafullofcrumbs · 17/04/2012 21:27

WI was not bad at all :) feeling relieved that I hadn't blown it like I thought I might have!

Chocolategirl3 · 17/04/2012 21:30

Facecrack i'm new to this thread - when you say pm your stats what do you mean? sorry if being a bit thick :)

FaceCrack · 17/04/2012 21:35

Oh sorry choc, let me explain.
Every weds we weigh in and people PM me their gains or loss in the following form:

facecrack lost 10000lbs this week, start weight 100909stone, now weighs 100/0stone, total lost 8000st.

Or face lost 3lvs this week, total loss 10lbs

Depends if you want to fess up to your weight or not

Then in the evening I publish a list of all te losers and gainers. It's supposed to help
Motivate us and provide a bit of healthy competition. Clearly it's not compulsory but if you want to join in then please do.
Hope that makes sense.

MaresyDotes · 17/04/2012 22:15

Hi Facecrack, will be my first SW on Thursday, do I wait till next Tuesday then PM you this weeks info? Sorry, am very new to all this!

(I was on this thread earlier but DD discovered my MN nickname and started searching for me AngryBlush so had to change)

kid · 17/04/2012 22:23

Lunch is made and fingers crossed it tastes ok.
I am never eating those haricot beans again, my poor belly must be completely empty Grin. They had the same effect on DS but DH and DD seem to have got away with it.

FaceCrack · 17/04/2012 22:28

Uh oh marsey, not to worry. You can either give me your starting weight for this week and I'll put you down as a newbie or just leave it till next week, when we will be astounded by your amazing loss! Smile up to you.

LakeFlyPie · 17/04/2012 23:23

Evening Smile

Bee Lovely to see you back, hope you're OK. Have had a bit of a break myself back to square one but onwards and downwards.
Ria well done on essay submission, am a last minute Queen myself and always vow not to be cos it's so stressful.
Kid how are you doing falafel? I love them and saw a recipe in Sainsbos t'other day but they were shallow fried.
Reminds me actually, must pay a visit to the Slimming Eats site again, that woman is a SW superstar.
bra hope you had a successful weigh in, weighing clothes to select maximise loss outfit made me giggle Grin
CSWS that sounds pretty full on gym wise, obviously works for you.

Food today (went green in the end):
BF: Muesli, FF yog, apple
L: Hobbit ham sarnie, tomatoes, apple, grapes
D: Ratatouille and cous cous, orange
S: Yog (would be v grateful if anyone could give me an idea of how synned Aldi "Light" fruity yogs are, they are FF but taste a lot sweeter than Mullers) Banana.

Ate early with DC with the intention of going swimming when they were settled in bed but DS1(nearly 4) put paid to that idea by managing to dislodge the stair gate and pulling it on top of him with a nasty whack to the head resulting in blood and lots of tears, fortunately not too serious, but bed time was too late to make it to the pool, maybe tomorrow.

LakeFlyPie · 17/04/2012 23:38

Thanks for doing list Facecrack, will pm stats

FairhairedandFrustrated · 17/04/2012 23:43

facecrack - leading? consulting? whatever.... but yes, I was working :) Busy night, lots of losses, but some Easter leftover gains too, but all fired up for next wk.
I never weigh in at my 'own' group, I did once and gained half lb and felt myself being annoyed at people who said they'd ate bad all week & had big losses ashamed of myself Blush

So no, I either go to a local group on Monday nights ot Wednesday nights, will be tomorrow night this week! Am hoping to have something off!

Dinner tonight was dh's lovely bacon pasta, sauce made with tinned toms, puree, mushrooms, peppers, chilli, onions, herbs etc all cooked them blitzed (thought I don't think tonight's was blitzed, was quite thick) served with pasta. Usually have my HEA cheese with it, but used that for milk without knowing we were having that dish for dinner (if it can still be called dinner at 10pm)

In bed now with a yoghurt, grapes and hifi lights..... yes, I am always hungry at bedtime.... dh is on night shifts, and it's our wedding anniversary!

On the UP side, I had a good day mood wise today, don't know if the antid's are kicking in, but something has changed, actually feel like smiling at people and cleaning.... though that feeling might not last long Wink

Glad you had a good weigh in bra :)

Ria well done on the essay hand in! It's really tough studying with wee ones, I did my degree when ds was 6 months and dd was 3, so hats off to you!

FairhairedandFrustrated · 17/04/2012 23:45

huh, I just excitedly peeled back the wrapper on the caramel and chocolate hifi light, to fine one fucking piece of caramel on it!! Who do I need to complain to!!! Angry

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/04/2012 23:48

You should prob complain to a SW leader FH&F Wink.

FaceCrack · 18/04/2012 07:16

Good loss for me this week. This running malarkey seems to be working.

Anyway I'm about to wander into work so just to all. Don't forget to PM me:
B: ff yog and fruit
Snacks: 2 x alpen light
L: lunch provided at a meeting, who knows
D: fish pie and veg

Chocolategirl3 · 18/04/2012 08:12

pixiestix · 18/04/2012 08:52

Thats great news about the ADs working FH Smile I'm enjoying hearing a consultants views on SW life - it never occurred to me that my consulant might be weighing in at another group and struggling along just like me

Hope weigh in goes well tonight Choc. Are you hopeful for a good loss?

Chocolategirl3 · 18/04/2012 12:16

I am hoping to hit my 1 stone pixie, but not sure if my body will let me down.

I was on holiday for a week which was also my star week and at my next WI the following week I lost 4 lbs.

However when I did SW in the past the pattern was that I would always loose when I have been on holiday (usually 1lb) and always loose following star week (usually 2-3lbs) then the week after no matter how perfect I was I would maintain, which would be this week :(

Fingers crossed the old cycle has been broken and I get there x

If I dont I will be disappointed but I wont give up, I am determined to have a bikini body by Wit week!!!

Good luck to everyone else xxx

grinningbee · 18/04/2012 14:15

Crikey. Just caught up on everything I've missed. Waaaaaay too much to comment on, but massive congrats to Fod!

Pixie big hugs right back to you, and hope things are getting better for you matey.

I'm back in control of ye olde foode. Yay! I was supposed to make quorn chilli yesterday, except when I looked in the freezer it was quorn sausages not mince, so we had those and baked beans instead.

Yesterdays food:

Weetabix and a banana
Cheese triangles on toast
Quorn sausages (4 syns), baked beans, 2 x potato waffles (3 syns each)
2 x rich tea biscuits (2 syns each)

And today is:

Weetabix and a banana
Omelette with cherry tomatoes, mullerlight yogurt
Quorn chilli and rice (1.5 syns for the chilli mix)

I need to unpack my kitchen scales and all the spices etc so I can cook properly. Hey ho!

OP posts:
grinningbee · 18/04/2012 14:18

The sharp eyed will notice I didn't syn the cheese triangles - it's part of my Hea allowance, jus so you don't think I forgot!
