I missed the list too Debkaand I gained more than you(2.5lbs) without being away in a hotel

It was all the picking at odd little bits of bread that added up(and other assorted things)

Well done for the people that lost weight or stayed the stay!

Still back on plan today with a walk to the library and Asda for odds and ends. I think I'm going to make the SW cabonara for dinner although DP may not be impressed as he doesn't really like pasta...

B: Egg, wedges,baked beans and a wholemeal pita(he)
L: chicken salad
D: SW cabonara
Snacks: Fruit, muller light and carrot sticks

MadeInScotlandFromGirders · 12/04/2012 09:23

Well done to the losers and stay the samers, those tht gained im sure you will be back on track after this half term is over as i know its thrown me to pot and im looking forward to a bit of structure next week.

Well i managed to peel myself out of bed at an ungodly hour to go for a run before dh went to work even tho i did not get in from work till half eleven last night (im an early night when not working gal and hate not getting enough sleeep).

Today i have had a ff yog and satsuma as a snack

B - se and beans
L - prawn stir fry with soy sauce
D - poss Roast chicken legs (skin off), salad and new pots

Hate trying to think of things i can cook for us all that SW friendly.

Going to be uber strick as i had 2 bad days (sat and sun) and then i went haywire again yest so need to nip that in the bud.

Still have weights and some sit ups to do, then off food shopping with kids in the rain! how joyfull.

brafullofcrumbs · 12/04/2012 11:30

Morning all :) congratulations on the losses everyone
Hello fairhairedandfrustrated :) I for one don't mind having a consultant in the group - a super SW brain to pick!
We've got visitors for the next few days so I'm cooking cooking cooking. Don't want to let my mum in the kitchen 'cause she'll make yummy non-SW food that I'll just have to eat :o Planning on doing a stir fry one night and a risotto another. We're out for dinner on Sat so that's out of my control but will save syns so hopefully I can get away with it! [tries to ignore 3 creme eggs I was saving for this week]
hope everyone has a good week :)

Huffpot · 12/04/2012 14:03

Well done on the run Girders...
A consultant on board is always a good thing!

So far so good today for me..
Just have to get through the night time nibbles and we'll be home free :-D

debka · 12/04/2012 19:46

Ah cheese thanks for missing me :)

huffpot bad luck on the 2.5lb, good luck for the rest of the week.

girders well done on run, esp so early in the morning!

ria we were at Tatton Park where DH was running a craft show- 4 nights in a hotel, and 5 days away. It was nice (ish) but bloody hard work with tired children and the pils who are grimmer than grim.

Had 2 good days so far here, went to see my dad and stepmum today who told me off for gaining a lb (ignored the fact that I've lost 5 STONE), then proceeded to load the table at lunchtime with cheese and crackers. I had a can of soup in the end. It was Baxters carrot and coriander, how bad was that? Anyone know?

Cheeseandbiscuits · 12/04/2012 20:09

8 syns debka. That's bloody annoying, aren't they rude? You can shit out a lb poo this week.

Dd is poorly so I haven't gone out. She has puked and pooped all round the house. Didn't think I could leave DH with her!

FairhairedandFrustrated · 12/04/2012 21:05

I still don't know who you are ria! Pm me either on here or fb. I can join you on there, why not??

I've had a good day.

B'fast: grapefruit and mandarin with an activia pot and grapes
Snacks/ pear, grapes
Lunch: couscous soaked in a stock cube with egg, beetroot, red onion, cucumber, tomato. Afters was a mullerlight with pineapple.
Afternoon snacks was banana, mandarins, kiwi and diet coke Blush
Dinner (which is only on now!) is spaghetti bolognese with ex lean mince, sauce made from tinned toms, Tom purée, onions, garlic, and probably other stuff dh threw in! Of course we'll have mushrooms, onions, peppers in that too.

Well done to you all! I'm only reading this on my iPod so will have to go back and re read!!

FairhairedandFrustrated · 12/04/2012 21:08

Liking your meal plan fair. I'm on my period and I've got serious choc craving so having a hot choc. It's not hitting the spot like 2kg of dairy milk would.

MadeInScotlandFromGirders · 13/04/2012 07:06

Can i ask a quick Q regarding FB group, can me anyone join and does it show in your main FB page with all your posts etc?

Debka your sm sounds delightfull! just ignore she is prob jealous of your success at losing 5 stone.

I was talking to a lady who goes to the local Harriers and she was trying to get me to go to go to anopen night next week, great i though as i was quite interested but they go out and run for a bloody hour! i can only do 25 (just) mins so i think i will be giving it a miss untill i can run that far by some miracle for the lord.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 13/04/2012 08:27

Rianoceros · 13/04/2012 09:07

what has happened to kid and lumpy?
pixie, hope you get on ok (was it today?)

yuk for puke cheese. hope you escape.

oooh, debka, what kind of crafts? silly S-MIL. (I am relieved my MIL kepy her thoughts to herself on Monday, she usually enjoys telling DH is he fat and untidy usually covered in grease stains herselfHmm FIL had to check my name with DH though - WTF??? We have been married 16 years FGSShock

Had a good day on-plan yesterday, and just had a huge green breakfast of bubble and squeak, beans and egg. Egg salad sandwich and alpen light for picnic lunch, and quorn chilli for tea. Am taking the kids to a farm with DSis (who has lost at least 3 or 4 dress sizes since christmas without even trying, and if she is smug and rubs it in I will cry) so best get shifted and get ready.

Have a good daySmile

FH&H - I PM'ed you on facetube and sent you a link to the FB group (I think)

Cheeseandbiscuits · 13/04/2012 10:18

Well done ria, looks like you are doing really well. And ignore your sis!

What's everyone up to this weekend?

kid · 13/04/2012 19:46

Hi all, I'm still here and still on holiday from work. I did think I'd be able to stick to sw better while not at work but that proved to be a load of nonsense.

I've just ordered my shopping to be delivered tomorrow with loads of lovely, fresh ingredients and my meals are planned for the week. Just remembered I need to get some mullerlights as they are my snack that keeps me going between meals.

I've got so much decorating to do which needs to be done before our new carpets are fitted. I don't have an actual date booked yet which is why I am not rushing to get it done. I have a feeling they will want to fit them on the 21st but I plan to stall for another week.

I'll try and have a read of the rest of the thread to catch up.

FairhairedandFrustrated · 13/04/2012 20:31

Another good'ish' day for me!

Breakfast: Banana, Activia snack pot & a mandarin
mid morning snack: a pear, a kiwi and some grapes
Lunch: last night's left over bolognese with boiled rice, followed by another bunch of grapes, some blackberries, another mandarin and an apple.
mid afternoon snack: mandarin and kiwi

Have been snacking all evening as I've just got this hunger on me! Snackage so far has been limited to a pear, 3 clementines and about 3 kiwis.

Dinner is cooking at the minute: Sw chips, gammon and a heap of veg possibly followed by even more fruit.

HEA: Skimmed milk
HEB: 2 hifi light bars

Syns: bag of whisps = 4. Have also had 2 maltesers and a rolo from the kids easter stash so will count them at 1 syn for each malteser and 1.5 for the rolo, so another 3.5 syns.

As I said previously, the doctor put me on antid's last week and it's the only thing I can put down to my huge appetite increase, but I know if I eat free & superfree foods I won't gain any more weight Hmm

It's just very hard to turn to the good stuff at times when your head isn't in the right place.

kid · 13/04/2012 23:24

sounds like you're sticking to healthy snacking foods fairhaired, hello btw Smile

I had a massive haircut yesterday so that should knock a lb or 2 off my weight. I missed breakfast and dinner today and my stomach is not very happy about it! I hope the rumbling doens't keep my awake tonight.
Shopping isn't coming until 1pm at the earliest tomorrow. I might have to send DD out for some emergency supply of fruit for me to snack on.

Chocolategirl3 · 14/04/2012 11:26

Hi there, found you with a little help from Fairhairedandfrustrated x

Went to my 4th weigh in on Wednesday and lost 4 lbs, lost 12.5 lbs in total, hoping to get my 1 stone award this coming week, which hopefully should be doable as long as i behave the next few days as Thursday and Friday have been a mixture of eating out and drinking and used 55 syns in 2 days, but i know i can keep under the 70 syns as have planned my meals for the next few days. fingers crossed i get that award! :)

Rianoceros · 14/04/2012 11:46

I have found that with ADs in the past. Even Prozac who someone assured me would make me lose weight. (It didn't make me better either).

Yesterday was OK, though we ended up eating with Dsis last night and had pizza and salad and wine, though the damage was limited as I was so tired I didn't sit up watching TV with DH when I got home and he drank my wine. I know now though that if we are picnicking again, I need to plan for more food, as the sandwich didn't hit the spot (whilst watching sis and her DC eating huge bags of crisps and a chunky kit kat), if I have sandwiches I will have to factor in a bag of french fries, or plan ahead and have a pasta salad.

it's raining today. I could sleep for England.

kid · 14/04/2012 12:57

I had to get up at the crack of dawn as I was expecting a delivery between 8 and 1. Yes, 8 is the crack of dawn for me Grin
The delivery arrived at 12:20 so I needn't have got up early after all. But, I made good use of the time and have sanded all the banisters, washed it all, hoovered the whole house, polished, put some washing on and tidied the kitchen.

Still waiting for my shopping to arrive which will be between 1-2 so not too much longer to wait. At this rate, I'll be eating it as I unpack it.

Huffpot · 14/04/2012 13:23

Well done on avoiding the wine Ria and I'm impressed with the cleaning Kid
I've not achieved any house worky things today
Instead I threw the toddlers in the double buggy and decided to walk to Asda and Lidl(very cheap peppers at Lidl)....but wow....should have checked what was on at Wembley as Liverpoil and Everton are playing so the whole area is full of drunken scousers
Still we got our bits at Asda but decided against venturing through the masses to Lidl

I achieved a minor victory over myself last night. I really wanted to eat a fruit scone after dinner and I mean really wanted to but I fought myself and had an apple, a muller light and an options and I was so proud of myself
fingers crossed it pays off at WI!

Breakfast: Porridge made with water and a dash of milk and a banana and apple
L: Left over vegetable fried rice and fruit
D: Chilli con carne with rice and veg
