Weigh in tomorrow, that's come around quick! Grin

FriendofDorothy · 10/04/2012 07:41

Not at all! I had to do another test this morning to convince myself as I just don't feel pregnant if you know what I mean!

Huffpot · 10/04/2012 11:42

Oh thats amazing news Dorothy
Lol at having to do another test. i did 7 when accidentallyfell pregnant with DS1 before it felt slightly real.

I'll be trying to conceive for the first time ever (mine were both happy accidents)after my surgery although we may have trouble due to losing more of my ovary

i cant believe its the DOD tomorrow already...I dont think I'm ready!!!

B:beans on toast
L:chicken salad
D:Chicken,egg fried rice and veg

Cheeseandbiscuits · 10/04/2012 12:29

Oh that's exciting huff. When's the surgery? I'm hoping dh passes his exam so we can start TTC end of te year!

pixiestix · 10/04/2012 19:32

Hello!

Oh my god Doro! Congratulations!!! Grin Grin I'm so so so happy for you! Don't worry about feeling weirded out - I think it took me until the baby was in my arms to truly comprehend what was going on.

Cheese I know I'm a disaster but I have finally acted on the advice you gave me about six months ago about dealing with the ol' black dog and I have booked an appt for Friday with the docs. So I'm a loser, but I've got there in the end! Blush

Cheeseandbiscuits · 10/04/2012 19:35

Hey pixie glad you are back. I've been mighty worried - wondered if you were diffed too. Grin hope the docs goes Ok, PM me if you want to.

brafullofcrumbs · 10/04/2012 21:31

Congratulations dorothy :o ds took us 4yrs of ttc so I can fully appreciate how hard it is. I have the sw pg leaflet I'll check it for you :)

brafullofcrumbs · 10/04/2012 21:37

Basic rules seem to be follow ee, have 2x hea and 2x heb. It keeps emphasising that it has to be with mw's approval but I don't suppose you've got a mw yet!
Rest is normal pg advice - take folic acid, cut out alcohol and caffeine, eat oily fish 2x week, avoid soft cheese/ uncooked eggs etc etc

Huffpot · 10/04/2012 21:54

Terrifying more like Cheese!
Surgery is the 16th May so not long till my aches and pains will be eased

Pixie thats a very big brave thing to do - depression has such a stigma. My dad suffered for years before he got help and hes the kind who gets very angry with it so we had a very topay turvy childhood. Since hes been on tablets hes been a different(and much happier) man

Rianoceros · 10/04/2012 22:41

good luck pixie. Hope you get some good support.

I've had a really productive day today, which makes me feel much better, but it's no good for dieting as when I'm on a roll I hate breaking off to eat. Had a good sort out/clean in the boys room, and converted their beds back to bunks so they have more floor space to play. I have to brace myself to sort out the baby toys and get ridSad. Still a lot to do though, without that... My plan is to sort all of the house, room by room, with our room the last to be done. 1.5 down!!

Have to be off early in the morning for DH to go to the hospital for his pre-op thingy. SO might have to WI on Thursday this week.

Good luck ladiesSmile

Cheeseandbiscuits · 11/04/2012 12:42

Mwahahahahha it's doomsday! Pm me your stats, let's have a decent list this week. Smile

I'm at work so quick post. Good weigh in for me.
Food:
B: croissant (ooops but up all night with dd and in work today)
L: tuna cous cous salad
D: stirfry
Long gym sesh tonight so will publish lost around 10pm.

Huffpot · 11/04/2012 14:31

Glad you've had a good week Cheese
I think I've gained but will PM you after WI

Cheeseandbiscuits · 11/04/2012 19:02

Cool huffpot.

Where is everyone hiding?

Hedgepig · 11/04/2012 19:50

Im here cheese I've had to do some work today, how blooming rude of my employer to expect me to earn my salary! Grin

Today have been nice but bad in eating terms, my boss is 50 tomorrow so she bought a ton of cake in and it would have been rude of me not to help eat it. I was also up at 3am for some daft reason so I am cream crackered

FairhairedandFrustrated · 11/04/2012 20:16

Can I beg a space at the table please?

As some of you already know, I am a consultant, by hey, I'm human too Wink and have had a real struggle lately. I've a heavy workload, a small family and a heap of family stuff going on atm.

Someone spoke earlier of a dark cloud, heck i'm under it and medicating for it... so that's my story.. missed group for a while so went back tonight and I've gained 13lb since I was last there I wish there was a cry emoticon so I'm fucking gutted a bit sad at having let myself go.

So, I'll hang my head in shame here and hope for a manly pat on the back from someone... have done shopping so am all prepared for tomorrow! Can't wait to see the list for inspiration!

me x

FriendofDorothy · 11/04/2012 20:19

Human consultants? Hmmm... oh ok then.

I was always really inspired by my consultant. She could go away for a long weekend, pile on about half a stone and then nail it and get it off the week after. I was relieved to see she was normal!

FairhairedandFrustrated · 11/04/2012 20:27

Ah I'm normal alright! Lost 3st 13lb (yes, just shy of the elusive 4st!) so tonight I have lost 3st.... just shows how easy it goes on as I'd def say it mostly went on in the last 6wks.

Anyway, went back to group tonight and got some motivation :) And you lot are always such great support to each other I thought I'd come ask for help too :)

Cheeseandbiscuits · 11/04/2012 21:22

FOD bloody marvellous, what bloody brilliant news :) :) :)

cheesey well done on losing 2.5lb over easter, tres impressive!

Hi fairhaired, I say well done for catching it at 13lb and not letting it all go back on. You'll have lost that in a month :)

Rianoceros · 11/04/2012 22:23

ARSE!!! Huge post vanished.
Probably just as well...

well done to listersSmile

welcome back to the fold connie FH&F. Are you allowed by the SW-powers-that-be to join our FB group too? Sorry you are cloud-laden, hope your meds work quickly. You're looking fab in your picsSmile. It is SO easy to gain though isn't it? (I seem to be something of an expert).

pants day of whiney DS3, being poked/prodded/patted to get my attention by all 3, temper outbursts from DS1, still no sodding jumper he likes in the shops, and nearly £9 fecking quid to park for just over 2 hours in a multistorey carpark which used to be the cheapest one. DH was ages having his MRSA swab and a random xray too. I was ready for sobbing under a table by the time he joined us. AND I forgot to make lunch for me, so picked at the boys picnic, and happened upon a bakersBlush

DH is NOT a happy bunny as he was 6lb heavier on the hospital scales. Needless to say we hit ASDA and stocked upWink It's just a shame he won't join in with the cooking/planning.

Rianoceros · 11/04/2012 22:24

hi debka, how was it? were you somewhere nice?

Cheeseandbiscuits · 12/04/2012 07:58

Sorry you had a bad day ria. Back on the horse today.

Gah debka 1lb is nothing for 5 days in a hotel. Put some more effort in. Glad you are back, we missed you!

B: fruit and ff yog
L: tuna pasta salad, fruit
D: I'm out, who knows!
