Ah yes, it's that time again. New list, new decor. Same comfy chairs though Grin

So, pull up a chair, settle in and make yourselves at home Smile

OP posts:
mimisays · 04/04/2012 11:06

Yes, I've been having two slices of 400g wholemeal. Grin

MadeInScotlandFromGirders · 04/04/2012 17:05

well i went for my run and done my weights and a few tricep dips ( i have a lovely shift dress i want to wear for my birthday night out) and really need toned arms to make it look good iyswim.

I have also added a mini magnum to my food list 8.5 syns so a total of 11 syns today whch is alot as im trying to keep them between 5 and 8 per day.

kid · 04/04/2012 17:16

My exercise for the day was painting, it really hurt. Probably because I was balancing at the top of the ladder while doing the cutting in around the ceiling.

I'm now laying on the settee shivering and hoping someone takes pity on me and gets me a blanket, a cup of tea and makes dinner for me. I don't see myself in the kitchen cooking any time soon.

My dc went out at 11am. They popped back for lunch at 12:30 and went straight back out afterwards. They aren't home yet, I hate it. They are 10 and 13, we live in central London. Should I let them have so much freedom or am I being a worry guts?!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 04/04/2012 18:27

I've only had 3 PMs. Another small list?

CantSleepWontSleep · 04/04/2012 19:38

I'm skipping the list this week cheese. Didn't make it to class, but def looking at a gain Sad. Will miss it next week too, as won't have access to class or reliable scales.

debka · 04/04/2012 20:56

Did you not give your kids a time to be back by? BTW a little Envy of living in central anywhere, especially London! I am sure they're back now anyway, I started this post at about 2pm and only just finishing it now.

Well done all exercisers, and good luck for DoD!

Not sure if I can remember everything I ate in the last week, but on an average day-
B- 2 bacon, 2 egg and a pear
L- leftover Free food from yesterday's tea, eg chilli (made with masses of veg) and rice, a fairly small portion, more fruit
Snack- more fruit
D- something like a chicken traybake, made with lots of veg and potatoes and, er, chicken. Maybe a Muller Light and more bloody fruit.
Evening- 2 weetabix (HEB)

Most days I had fewer than 5 syns. As you can see I ate A Lot but all sw stuff. Bear in mind however I am heavier than all of you put together, 19.3 at last count, so that is probably the clincher.

Huffpot · 04/04/2012 21:58

Oh goodie....just PM'd Cheese so not too late for list!
Debka I am in complete awe of you!

Made SW truffles for tasting night tonight and OMG they were amazing!

kid · 04/04/2012 22:02

Dc came back at 6:30, they were obviously hungry Grin
They did think they were going back out after dinner but i said no. They've spent 8 hours at the park today. Think I'll go and spy on them tomorrow just to see what the fascination is.

I didn't wi this morning which is why there is no pm from me. I've not eaten much today and my jeans aren't any tighter so I'll suggest I've sts!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 04/04/2012 22:09

List will be done in 10min or so!

brafullofcrumbs · 04/04/2012 22:16

Cheese I can't see how to pm you from my mobile so heres my weigh in. Lost 1.5lb this week achieving my 2st award and an extra 0.5lb for good measure. Total loss 2st 0.5lb.

debka · 04/04/2012 22:26

Come on cheesey, I need to go to bed but want to see my name in sparkly lights at the top of the list first! Grin

kid · 04/04/2012 22:34

crumbs, scroll to the top of the page and you should see link for 'inbox'. Click that and you'll be able to send pm from phone, I think.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 04/04/2012 22:35

Sparkly 7lbs loss and total 5stone loss goes to debka. Thats fooking amazing.
Sparkly 2 stone sticker to bra thats fab-u-lous
dot you are so close to your 2 stone sticker, keep going!

CSWS your presence is missed, you normally are near the top of the table!

Rianoceros · 04/04/2012 22:55

debka, can I be nosey and ask how long you have been doing SW to achieve that fab total loss?

and target memebers - how much have you lost in total over how long? (if you don't mind me asking)

I really struggle with focussing on losing half or one stone at a time, instead of the full amount I want to lose, and seeing proof it can be done helps a bit (I need DH to "get" why I have a cupboard full of SW magazines!)

well done on the list anywaySmile

I think kid, re your DC, you know them and how much you can trust them, so go with your instinct. I have always been a bit uptight, DS2 and 3 have more freedom than DS1 ever did (and that isn't much BTW, they are allowed to play on the front path when I am in the kitchen where I can see them, though they occassionally disappear to the park - along the grassy path behind the house, near my mums - with friends who live nearby) DS1 vanishes without a particular plan quite often, but he only ever goes to his friends or to the cricket pitch, and he always has his phone. Hope someone looked after you and that you feel better soon.Smile

sorry, rambling. tiring day, and I had a very disturbed night dreaming about having a slanging match with exBIL, and random dreams about cupcakes buns!!! Hmm

brafullofcrumbs · 04/04/2012 22:56

Wow well done everyone :)
Thanks kid for the inbox tip, I was looking for a 'message poster' on the blue bar of each post like on the big website version and I forgot about doing it through inbox [remembers that's how it always used to be and feels thick for forgetting]

kid · 04/04/2012 23:20

No problem crumbs, it took me ages to realise you could message poster from the mobile site. Glad I'm not the only one who didn't know how to do it.

morecoffeewantsmorechoccie · 04/04/2012 23:31

I have name changed slightly for Easter Grin was morecoffeeholdthecake.

Well, debka, I am aiming for a really good loss next week and will follow your tips! I weigh in tommorow and hope I loose or at least maintain this week but suspect a possible gain

I am planning on trying out red and green days this week instead of just extra easy. I am also planning on using my syns solely on Easter eggs this week!

Well done on the losses this week :)

debka · 05/04/2012 07:21

ria I've been going 6 months now, but I was a massive beast of a woman before, now slightly less so! I started in a size 26 Blush, now in a slightly less embarrassing 20.

morecoffee best of luck with the weight loss this week, especially with easter in the middle!

kid and ria my two are 3 and 1 but I think I'm already scarily lax, we live in the country on the same plot as my parents (imagine a fenced off field with a big house and a bungalow and a drive with always-open gates, we live in the bungalow), and my girls are always wandering around outside, even the 1yo! Different when it's the big wide world though, I imagine it's hard to know where to draw the line.

off to the show and the in-laws today, see you all on Tuesday, wish me luck....

Huffpot · 05/04/2012 12:10

Well Debka I think youre amazing

Well done to all the losers! I'm hoping easter wont be too bad for me - I've told the OH Id rather have a lovely bunch of tulips than chocolate so lets hope he listens(and I can avoid the billions of eggs that other people will give my DC)

Oh the truffles are so good!
Let me see if I can cut and paste the recipe on the phone!

Food today
B: crispbread as was out very early
L: will be vegetable soup(when the old un gets her wrinkly behind out of the kitchen)
D: SW quiche with salad and wedges

Hedgepig · 05/04/2012 12:16

Ria I lost 3st and 11lb in total and it took about a year I really slowed in the last 6 months. I am currently on a biscuit feast and I need to STOP! Or I will undo all my good work .

kid I let ds1 out on his own but he just hangs out in our cul-de-sac with his fello urchins mates, they have never expressed any desire to go further. I do not let ds2 (3 yrs) out unless DH or I go out too , my neighbours seem happy to have their 2/3 yrs olds outside unsupervised but there are a few people that drive down here like it is a race course so I would not be happy doing that.

We are off to Norfilk few the weekend, so have a good bank hol peeps and I will see you when I get back

Rianoceros · 05/04/2012 22:54

enjoy the weekendSmile

debka - how tall are you am wondering if we are similar.

had a lovely day out at the coast. snow and sunshine within a few miles, and we have neither at home.

we are going to have to Stay At Home tomorrowSad. I could get used to going out and having fun. But I need to tidy up if we are to invite my parents round on Monday (it is DS1s birthday, and being 15 he is not fussed, but I was wondering about doing a "proper" child-like party tea for him (my Dad's favouriteWink) I will build up to it over the weekend!

morecoffeewantsmorechoccie · 06/04/2012 04:12
