Hi mimi welcome the thread. I also weighed heavier than what I imagined when I started. Bit gutting ain't it? We weigh in on Weds so feel free to PM me with your weight etc tomorrow.

We had some friends over so I ate a couple of biscuits. Lots left so I will try to resist them today and send them to work with Dh tomorrow. They are so nice with a cuppa though!

slinky sorry work is crap. But not long till you are part time - and it's bank hol now! Dress is fab. You will look amazing.

Well done on running 3.5 miles, I'm so impressed hedge. I run on my own, lonely

Food:
B: fruit and ff yog
L: smoked salmon and scrambled egg on toast
D: courgette and Auvergne risotto (parmesan as HEA)

Hedgepig · 03/04/2012 13:37

blooming heck I ache! that's it really :-)

Hi Mimi I was about a stone heavier than I though I was when I started, I'm now at Target weight

mimisays · 03/04/2012 14:02

SlinkyB Yes I am 5'7 too! My mum was really shocked when I told her my weight, in fact she insisted that it must have been wrong. But it wasn't, I was weighed at the doctors. On one hand it surprises me because I imagined that at almost 16 stone I would have been much bigger than a 16, but on the other hand it is not surprising as I have been eating nothing but crap for an entire year!

So far today I have eaten:

B: Two slices of weight watchers toast (HEXB) with marmite, and one scrambled egg - didn't use milk or butter for the egg though.

L: Bowl of lentil & vegetable soup, and a side salad with two babybels.

I think dinner will be a jacket potato with either beans/quorn bolognaise and yet another side salad. I will probably have some coleslaw too, 100g of reduced fat coleslaw is only 3.5syns but it feels like a luxury thing to eat.

Does anybody else struggle to use up their syns? Is it important to use all of them do you think?

SlinkyB · 03/04/2012 14:35

Ha ha, I've never struggled to use my syns! I think it's important to treat yourself a bit most days, in order for the diet to be sustainable. Personally, if I don't have chocolate or a biscuit every day I get crabby!

Ah cheese if only we lived closer, we could've jogged together Sad. Thanks for kind words re dress.

mimisays · 03/04/2012 15:06

I think it's just like I can't believe it will work if I have chocolate etc. I mean, I know it does because I've seen it work for other people. I've been having like five syns but feel like if I have more I'll sabotage it. I'm being silly and completely missing the point, aren't I?

Cheeseandbiscuits · 03/04/2012 16:23

Well I've just eaten about 10 Oreos, just the 25 syns Blush

SlinkyB · 03/04/2012 17:27

Whoops! Big long run for you tonight then!

morecoffeepleaseholdthecake · 03/04/2012 17:29

Having kids home from school is not good for my weight loss! Been out today and eaten the following:

2 small pieces of pizza (it was made in front of me- thin base, tom puree, garlic and herb topping, no oil, loads of veg and cheese)
3rd of a slice of victoria sponge cake
2 choc puddings (the yoghurt type pudding things from yoghurt isle)
1 rice cake with peanut butter

Blush oh god!

having chicken salad and fruit and fat free yoghurt tonight to try to undo some of the damage.

so cross with myself, so I have come on here to confess and draw a line. _

I am back on it now! NO MORE CRAP! I didn't even enjoy it! (well not much anyway! Grin

Cheeseandbiscuits · 03/04/2012 17:30

I didn't even think. I just kept shoving them in while trying to get Dd down for a sodding nap. Failed on both accounts so she's had 45 min sleep today. She's lying on the beanbag watching cbeebies. I'm a terrible motherGrin

Cheeseandbiscuits · 03/04/2012 17:30

Glad I'm not the only one nomorecoffee. Grin

Cheeseandbiscuits · 03/04/2012 17:30

Rianoceros · 03/04/2012 18:36

just checking in as I probably won't get on tomorrow until late as we have two hospital appointments with DS1, DH has an appointment and I am helping easter crafts, so a busy day. According to the Wii on Monday I STS this week.

DH finally got paid today for the work he did in November , so we have been out to town. Sadly an untethered traveller pony ran out in front of the car on the way there, so we have not enjoyed ourselves, and I'm a bit wobbly. Poor DS3 could be in shock I think, he is a bit teary and has a headache. Luckily the horse seemed to be OK and ran off, but we are the proud owners of a big dent in the front wing of the carHmm

enjoying the SW so far thoughSmile

and DH has gone to an interview this eveninh

debka · 03/04/2012 21:30

Bloody hell ria, sounds terrifying, any chance on the insurance? Good luck to DH :)

Brace yourselves, was weigh in tonight and I lost a mighty SEVEN POUNDS, oh yes, the full half stone!! Am quite shocked!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 03/04/2012 21:35

debka, that's great. You are storming. Don't forget to PM me so I can add you to the top of the list.

SlinkyB · 03/04/2012 21:57

OMG debka Shock That's amazing!! Just goes to show what can be done with determination and Sticking to Plan.

ria that sounds horrible, hope your little boy is ok. Fingers crossed for a job for dh, and good luck for tomorrow's hospital appointments.

When does your dh get exam results cheese?

I've come up to bed as my snotty nose is driving dp up the wall. He's sleeping in the spare room tonight too (saves him listening to the inevitable snoring and being dribbled on I guess). Didn't go on run as can't breath out of nose and it was peeing down with rain - am pathetic really! Mate is going away now, so will have to postpone the start of my fitness til next week.

Good luck for DoD tomorrow all, will look forward to seeing some fab results no doubt.

Rianoceros · 03/04/2012 22:18

well done debka.Smile

not sure about the insurance on the car. the police were very helpful and we have an incident number and everything, but I don't expect they will trace the owner (it is a very traveller-frequent area where we were). I can live with the dent TBH. We are all OK, and the pony seemed to be, so will see what the quotes turn out to be. The boys have gone to sleep OK, so fingers crossed they'll forget it. Think DS3 was affected more because it was a little shetland like our friends that he calls "my horse" (wishful thinking on his part!!!)

good luck for tomorrow everyone. I will stick with my STS from Monday as I am weighing in on the same day as DH until he is converted gets into it properly and is too successful#

hope you get rid of that cold soon slinky. did you "vick" your feet?

kid · 03/04/2012 23:42

Wow Debka, that is amazing. What exactly have you been eating this week?

I'm not well Sad Sad Sad

I was fine yesterday but woke up this morning aching all over and have been feeling worse as the day went on. I feel like I've run 10 miles. Actually I don't think I'll ever know what that feels like but I imagine it feels like this.

I still managed to wait on DS (the birthday boy) all day and he claims it was his best birthday so far. He also asked if he can have beer now. He is 10 so the answer was no!

Decorating starts tomorrow, how exciting. Maybe I can get DH to feel sorry for me and wait on me all day? I doubt it but it might be worth a try.

I had the best lamb kebabs tonight. Just chucked some salt, pepper and rosemary on them and grilled them with mushrooms, onions and peppers. Yum, yum.

I thought it would be easier to stick to SW while on holiday. Well its not, its a hundred times harder as I'm out more often than at home so its a case of eating whats available wherever I am. I need to step up the exercise, just as soon as I feel better.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 04/04/2012 07:48

Morning, it's the day of doom! Small loss for me but down is down is down.

kid get better soon and glad your DS had a good birthday.

Good morning everybody Smile

Just a quick question, as I'm getting a bit confused.

I'm doing exclusively green days, so am I right in thinking I can choose 2 of each healthy extra? E.g could I have brown bread AND alpen lights? Sorry, just a bit muddled.

MadeInScotlandFromGirders · 04/04/2012 09:28

Ria OMG at the horse and your car, bet you were terrified, also hope the car is not too coslty to fix.
