Sorry. Am tired. Neighbours are being a nightmare!

Glad your foots getting better putyourhaton !

Flojo Throw it out. Call it a mistake. Were you hungry by any chance when you went shopping?
Or limit yourself to a bit and use that willpower. You dont have to eat it all!

OP posts:
putyourhatonsweetie · 19/02/2012 01:35

I thought my pelvic floor was okay until I did the shred Blush time to do some more exercises

putyourhatonsweetie · 19/02/2012 01:38

flojo chuck it, I know it feels like a waste but the waste was when you bought it not when you throw it out. was very bad and skipped breakfast this morning - didn't mean to but got to market hoping for a huge banana smoothie but only unhealthy stuff around. grrr. but having a lovely lunch of rice green beans eggs and asparagus

mrspepperpotty · 19/02/2012 08:16

Flojo if you really can't bear to throw it out, use it gradually as very small snacks every day for the next 2 weeks and don't buy ANY more bad stuff till March. Just don't eat it all today!!

Putyourhaton, that's brilliant loss, you're well on the way!

Thanks fairenuff for the motivational chat! I have only lost 5lb, but as long as I can keep going I'll get there in the end. I am proud of myself because I had a really shocking few days a week ago, but am back on track now and haven't used that as a reason to give up.

I weigh the same as you Sparky - 12st 5lb - so I'll join you in your mini goal and aim for 12st in 3 weeks (will have to be 10th March for me, as I'm going on holiday that day). If I can get to 12st that would be the weight I was when I got pregnant for the first time, which is 7 years ago!

bugsylugs · 19/02/2012 08:57

Can I join you lovely ladies think I need a bit of support to get me and keep me going. Said a month ago I would get started time has just ticked by. I did shred yesterday first real exercise for 3 months aching today. Trying to do low GI trying to get head around it.

mrspepperpotty · 19/02/2012 09:01

Hi bugsylugs. Well done on getting started! I don't know much about low GI but maybe someone else will. Do you have a target of how much you want to lose?

Vicky08 · 19/02/2012 09:11

I've been poorly this week but feeling better today, woke up starving this morning! I currently weigh 12s 1lb which is more or less what I weighed pre second pregnancy.

My weigh in should be tomorrow but I did it today and I've lost 4lb this week.

So far I've lost about 15lb which I'm over the moon at. Next mini goal for me is to get below 12s which means loosing 2lb, hopefully I can do it this week.

Breakfast today was fruit, lunch hm veg curry with brown rice and for dinner I've no idea.

SparkySparrow · 19/02/2012 09:26

We can do it mrspp ! Where are you going for your holiday?

Glad your feeling better vicky . 4lbs is amazing!

Welcome bugs

BelinaTheChicken · 19/02/2012 09:30

Can I join? I did post right at the start of the first thread, but then there was cake Blush

I'll be good now though! I think I weigh 11st5, and want to be 10st for my cousin's wedding in June, as I haven't really bought myself any new that weren't maternity clothes since I got pregnant in 2008 with DS1, and have been living on hand me downs and carboot stuff since then, so am planning on buying a shiny new dress. Possibly not an actually shiny one, that would look crap Grin

Am bf at the moment, so don't want to cut down too much food wise, just eat more healthily, but have started walking DS1 to nursery which is a 3 mile round trip twice a week and will take up swimming again as soon as I can get bottle refusenik DS2 to unlatch long enough for me to get to the pool

faz I hope your DS gets better soon

putyourhatonsweetie · 19/02/2012 10:29

welcome belina and bugs the more the merrier. well done on starting out.

Blimey vicky that is brilliant. well done. glad you are feeling better too.

right severe danger of sunday night blues after quite a full on weekend so am going to turn the computer off and find something productive to do.

happy days all xx

Flojo1979 · 19/02/2012 10:37

Glad its not just me with the pelvic floor issue putyourhaton Blush

Welcome Belina oh I'd love to be 11st!

Had an idea, gonna put biscuits and m&m's they were both half price in to snack size freezer bags and pop them all in the freezer then just get one out per day til they are all gone. Then they'll be too cold to eat when I get the urge to scoff the lot eat more than I should.

Vicky08 · 19/02/2012 13:47

Welcome Belina and bugsy.

I know that my weight loss this week is down to the flu I've had but I'm still determined to keep it off. At least something positive has come out of it.

Just had a lovely veg curry for lunch but couldn't finish it all, my appetite has shrunk (finally :) )

Good idea Flojo then you don't feel guilty about throwing them out but you can't scoff them all at once either.

Faz good luck at the hospital appointment with your DS tomorrow

bugsylugs · 19/02/2012 14:23

Not sure what I weigh in the 75 kg range but will get on the Wii to find out in better numbers. We are due for another round of IVF so want to loose what I can before to give us the best chance. Am old but did get bfp but mmc at 9 weeks last go. Should be motivation but have been saying that for months

bugsylugs · 19/02/2012 14:27

Great idea flojo
Fax hope it all goes well tomorrow have they ruled out coeliac or do they think it is severe reflux

BelinaTheChicken · 19/02/2012 14:28

Freezing chocolate doesn't work for me, I'd eat it anyway! Slows me down though I suppose. But only a bit Grin

SparkySparrow · 19/02/2012 16:09

Welcome back Belina

Had a lovely day walking around Cheddar. Did have a hot chocolate out but it was freezing and I don't drink tea or coffee , but I did manage to resist all the yummy sweet shops that they have everywhere .

Good idea with the freezer Flojo , but remember, you don't have to eat them, if you can get by a day without picking then it will do you wonders! And if they are in the freezer it gives you time to decide if you really want them or not!

OP posts:
fazsaeed · 19/02/2012 19:36

Flojo that's a good idea with the chocs!

I feel so shit.
We cosleep and I know he won't settle in cot.
Feel so horrid.
I don't want food
I want a fag

fazsaeed · 19/02/2012 19:37

Thanks everyone Thanks
They will know more after the op...

Flojo1979 · 19/02/2012 22:14

Try not to worry about the cosleeping faz, push the cot right against the bed or put one bedside up and have him with u. I had this battle when my ds was in hosp, he coslept til he was 3 and dc2 came along I had to be firm. He'd cosleep now if I let him and he's 6!
Hospitals frown about it but I just ignored them and did it anyway!

Vicky08 · 20/02/2012 14:24

Good luck for today Faz I hope everything goes really well.
Another co sleeper here, don't worry about it, do whatever's best for your DS especially at the moment when he's so vulnerable.

Sparky I don't like tea or coffee either and when I want a hot drink I love hot chocolate. Keep meaning to buy some cadbury's highlights.

Today I feel a bit sick, this flu just won't go away. I didn't have any breakfast, mid morning I had 2 oreos (medicinal purposes ;) ) and for lunch a tin of tomato soup. For dinner I'm planning on having baked fish and veg but I'll see how I feel.

Hope everyone's having a good day :)

Fairenuff · 20/02/2012 17:10

Hi all Smile. Had a lovely meal out for Sunday lunch and even had a few chippies, but still managed to lose 3lb this week, so I'm pleased with that!

I think the last two weeks I only lost 1lb but instead of giving up I pushed on through and got the result I wanted this week. I have lost my first stone Smile.

This week I'm going to try to lose 2lb because that will put my BMI back into plain old ordinary overweight. I hate being in the obese range. I even hate the word, it's horrible, makes me sound like a great greedy glutton (which I suppose I was really) but I'm not now Grin.

Flojo isn't it strange how all the really good offers are for junk food Hmm. You can always get crisps, biscuits and chocolate bars half price. Next time, just remember that these offers are there all the time on one product or another, so you do not have to bag a bargain when you see it Smile.

Hello to bugsy and belina and well done Vicky, 4lbs is 4lbs, however you lost it, it's great motivation to keep going. If you get a chance, compare the calories on Cadbury highlights to other 'normal' hot chocolates because, if I remember, there is not much difference per 100g but depends how many spoonfuls you use. I seem to remember being surprised when I checked the labels. Sometimes we pay extra for 'low cal' when we don't need to.

Sparky Well done on avoiding the Cheddar cheese sticks, clotted cream and, don't they sell a lot of honeycomb?

Faz I was allowed to co-sleep with ds in hospital when he was first born. I agree that it's worth asking, lots of hospital do allow it now.

Well, it's pancake day tomorrow. I've got no idea how many calories but I won't be having any. Not sure about Lent yet, I'm running out of things to give up Confused Grin.

SparkySparrow · 20/02/2012 18:14

Congrats on your first stone Fairenuff
Yes they have bucket loads of honeycomb!

I don't think the pancakes themselves are that calorific (please correct me if I'm wrong) its what you put in them thats the problem. Banana and chocolate buttons mmmmm!

Hows everything Faz ?

Iv'e never had cadburys highlights vicky ? Are they nice?
Oreos are brill for the flu Wink

OP posts:
bugsylugs · 20/02/2012 20:27

fazsaeed · 20/02/2012 20:30

well done everyone!!

theres been change of plan. rather than going in all guns blazing they are waiting on results of the ph probe and camera. then they will go and do what ever is needed. i just hope he doesnt have to go down to theatre again :(
