Yeh I think it will be fine, I just need to get into the swing of it. I'm hoping the new outfits will help me feel the part!

Good luck for tomorrow cheese, I'm sure it will be fine and you'll soon be back in the swing of things.

I am so relieved that our shopping came tonight, but it was bloody late so we ended up getting a takeaway. It was either that or eat way too late for my liking. I had chicken chowmein so I am within syns so I'm not worried.

Dod tomorrow, I will keep my fingers crossed that I have lost some weight as I don't want to have sts or gained. I'll think light thoughts which will hopefully help, somehow!

I am dreading tomorrow. I feel like a horrible heffalump. And I am not going to weigh in until I've pooed which might mean being like 2 hours late for work

I will not only have lippy on, I will have a full face of make up. . I will also shave my legs and pluck my eyebrows.

Could someone else do the list tomorrow. I'm happy to have it back for next week, I think tomorrow could be stressful enough though. Thanks!

Good luck cheese. What is it that you do?

I don't normally watch biggest loser, but when I do I always think the same thing (am just catching the end of it now). I see folk on there who weigh 17 stone or whatever, and I don't feel like I have ever looked as big as them, and yet I have weighed more than that in the past. Is it possible to have the opposite of anorexia? ConfusedHmm

I've just popped in to say I haven't defected, just been super busy, sorry! I can't believe how long this new thread is already! Shock I'm going to try and catch up tomorrow.

I've been mainly making cakes, not sure if I can link to pics from this thread or if that's naughty as its a diet thread? I've managed to avoid eating them do far, but will treat myself to a small bit tomorrow. I've got a Harry Potter cake to do for Friday, then a few more in the next couple of weeks. I love making them, it's so relaxing.

I'll message cheese with my loss tomorrow, good luck at work cheese!

Food diary for today...

B omelette with leftover roasted veggies and cheese
L butternut squash and puy lentil salad, 1/3 pear and tiny bit of melon (my boys snaffled the rest!)
S banana, apple
D fanta chicken + rice.
S peanut butter (5 syns) on toast. 4 squares dark choc

What on earth is fanta chicken?!

I left my lovely hospital job and am training to be a GP. They've changed the way we train so I've had to go back to a junior doc level for the next couple of years. Don't get me started. So will be working in a hospital to expand my experience - doing psychiatry for the next 6 months. I decided to change to general practice as we wanted a family - hours are better than dragging myself in to work at all hours to give emergency chemo etc.

I just had a sneaky peek at the scales, wish I hadn't bothered now! I know you weigh more in the evening but I thought if they showed a loss, I'd be even happier at a bigger loss but they are showing sts at the moment. My own stupid fault for checking, what on earth was I thinking?!

I am now thinking that I need to do a few red days, so thats going to be my new plan for a while. I've got 3 lots of different meat in the fridge that have to be eaten within a few days. Tomorrow we will be having moroccan lamb and I'll syn some rice to go with it (2syns per 28g cooked rice) I just have to make sure I am up early enough to put it in the slow cooker.

I also have a freezer full of meat, especially chicken, so that will give me plenty of choice.
Best get lunch out of the freezer actually and I think I'll treat myself to a bacon sarnie in the morning. Not sure DH will approve as he is off work tomorrow but won't want to eat that early in the morning. Maybe he can just make do with sniffing my breakfast until he gets up for his.

Tomorrow looks like this:

Red day

B: Grilled bacon and mushroom sandwich(b) (2 brown bread from 400g loaf)
Apple

L: prawns and 42g feta cheese(a) salad (cucumber, onions, tomatoes)
fruit

D: Moroccan lamb (which is basically lamb, tomatoes and herbs), rice (2 syns per 28g cooked - will see how much 28g looks like!)

Mullerlight
fruit
options choc drink (2 syns?)

If I'm correct, I think I am entitled to another B choice, If thats the case then I'll have 2 alpen light bars which I'm sure I'll be able to fit in at some point during the day.

Feel free to check and advise me on the menu for tomorrow Smile

Moroccan lamb should surely have cinammon rather than/as well as herbs? It should also have apricots, but grr at them being syns, so can see why you are leaving out. I don't think that the rice will be very much tbh. Might I suggest cauliflower rice instead, to save your syns? And yy to another b choice.

Fanta chicken is this. Not sure if you have to 'like' diet momma's page to be able to see it or not.

The recipe does include cinnamon which I was going to add. It's 2 tsp of ground cinnamon which can't be that many suns between 3 people?

I'm sure I've seen a link on here for cauliflower rice, I'll have a look tomorrow. I'm pleased to hear I get the extra b choice Grin

And for fanta chicken lovers, you can make the same sort of thing with diet coke and it is YUM! Grin Actually, I use real coke and syn it between two of us and it is reeeeeeeally lovely!

Cinnamon is syn free kid. It's apricots that I meant have syns. Sorry if I confused you. I posted the cauli rice link at the weekend.

I've just weighed myself and had a gigantic temper tantrum. I have stayed the same.

This week, I have walked a minimum of 3-4 miles a day, and twice, 7 miles a day. My feet are bleeding and I still carry on walking - and I mean walking until I'm sweating and breathless, not going for a stroll. I drink litres of water a day and calorie count and weigh everything that I eat and drink. I turn down invitations to go out if there's food and drink involved because this matters so much to me, and it's not working. I honestly can't do any more than this. All I want is to be slim enough to get IVF and to not be fucking well cloaked with shame every single day of my life, and I can't even lose 1lb a week. I'm completely devastated and just want to give up.

Sorry for the rant. But honestly, what is the fucking point of dedicating every waking fucking hour to thinking about trying to not be obese if nothing you do works?
