Sorry chaps, my thinking cap is busted. Best title I could manage tonight!

Loads of comfy chairs in here, bowls of fruit, and lots of superfree veggies to snack on Wink

So, settle in, have a natter, and let's show the lard who's boss!

TSP you will be fine, Remember you wrote the thesis and know more about it at that level of detail than anyone else in the room .

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/02/2012 13:47

Bee - fabulous to see you back! Would the register of births, deaths and marriages be a good place to start? Don't know if it can be accessed online or not. I bet your local library could tell you how to get the info though.

I have just applied for some jobs - eek! No idea what we will do for childcare if I get one and dh gets one too, but I can't sit and leave it all to dh when is so bloody pathetic about finding one himself.

Riapwhatyousow · 29/02/2012 13:50

bloody hell bee! That's a biggie (and a crime! Would remove an obstacle thoughHmm). County Court records? Somerset House perhaps.

Lovely to see you back with us. I remember both those threads well (you wil be familiar with my sister issues too, as I used to moan a lot then aswellBlush) Conniecomplaint from the SW thread is a consultant now.

re holidays, I would love to go to Center Parcs. Not a big fan of Haven, but am sure there will be nice ones.

Riapwhatyousow · 29/02/2012 13:52

info here bee

kid · 29/02/2012 16:09

HOORAY! Welcome back Bee, no disappearing on us again you hear?!
Or least can you give someone a way of being able to contact you in some way? We had no idea what to do and had even resorted to spying on your contacts on FB! Only because we care, not because we are nosey or anything like that.

I made the mistake of going to Sainsburys after work tonight to get some bits. I always seem to forget how horrible is having to carry bags home. Everytime I do it, I complain to myself and vow never to do it again, yet I still do.
I think I'll start another sentence here with I just because I've used so many so far!

Food for today is:

28g shreddies (b), milk (a)
Pasta, passata, 6 olives (1 syn), onions, peppers, celery, sweetner, balsamic vinegar.
Vegetable canneloni (28g cheese (a), canneloni tubes, green peas, onions, carrots, quark, natural yog)
Muller light
apple
2 aplen light bars (HEb)
2 finger kitkat (5.5 syns)

Syns for the day 6.5, so space for more kitkat lol
I've had both HEas and HEbs. Must stick to plan, must stick to plan, must stick to plan.

grinningbee · 29/02/2012 16:46

Kid I wouldn't think it was prying at all, or anything else. It's nice that people care. I've passed on my number so that should the internet connection ever go, or I can't get back for whatever reason, messages can be passed on!

I'd dearly love a detective to go to work on Thing.

Thank you Ria for the info. I have my work cut out digging around now. God, do I sound awful or what Hmm

Anyway, gotta go for now. He's due back any moment, and I have a playgroup committee meeting tonight. 90 mins away from the house, Thing and the dc Smile.

Be back later on for Dod results though! It's ok, Thing'll be asleep by 9.30 probably.

OP posts:
kid · 29/02/2012 16:54

I don't think you sound awful for digging. What other option do you have after all the lies you've been fed and are probably still being fed?

Cheeseandbiscuits · 29/02/2012 17:51

Evening all.

Thanks for all the PM's, still missing 2-3 people. huffers, debka and TSP where are you? Found an old list just now full of fallen comrades. Wonder if they have carried on in RL.

Had a good day at work, though I found out my ward manager has been slagging off part time trainees (i.e me). My job share is off sick still so what can I do?
Right had best get DD fed and into bed, then wake DH up so I can head to the gym.

bee would you like one of us to search the divorce thing so he can't find out you have looked? I'm more than willing . Glad you are back with us, I was a bit concerned too.

Party plans are pretty much is place. DD is one on Friday. We have family here for a tea prty on Sat. My inlaws are staying till Weds, god give me strength. THen a friends piss up party the following Saturday. I have bought a new pair of jeans and top, will try them on later.

TSP hope today went well. Do let us know.

Right had better dash

AlpinePony · 29/02/2012 18:41

bee I had to get similar info. for myself and got it via Scottish Registrar in Edinburgh, anyone could apply for the info. There must be similar in Egland & Wales - although what if divorce was petitioned in a different country? :/

SlinkyB · 29/02/2012 20:14

Evening all,.bee so glad you are back and OK (ish). I actually fell out a little with my dp on the morning of our house move, as I had told him I wanted to pm you before he disconnected the Internet. Dropped ds off at SIL's at 08.15 and returned to find no connection - I was so disappointed with him, he knew I was concerned about you and that I can only reach you online (I don't have web on my mobile). Anyway, DBIL lent me his 3G mobile at lunchtime so I could PM you. Didn't stop me worrying about you all weekend though!

Cheese urgh for the colleague bitching, how rude and unprofessional. I work with a right cow,but have to just rise above it -flipping hard to do sometimes but she's one of my bosses so can't say anything. Just trust karma.

Debka Woweeeee on the 5lb loss in one week! Atta girl! Best to trough the treats straight after I find, maximum amount of time to get rid of it then Wink.

Best of luck to everyone, will check list later.

kid · 29/02/2012 20:21

Angry I just went over my syns allowance (I've now had 17.5 syns) but I figured it might be okay as its DoD so I've got a whole week to be good if I can plan my meals well?

I made some sort of vegetable canelloni tonight. That recipe can go in the bin instead of back in my file. I didn't even manage to eat it!

debka · 29/02/2012 20:26

When I saw that on your menu plan, kid, I thought it might have been minging Grin

Anyone fancy estimating the syns in a very small (think 4x4cm) piece of homemade brownie? Although I've eaten in now (was bloody lovely) so it's too late if it's more than 12 (had about 3 already today)/.

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/02/2012 21:56

I did a veggie canneloni recently with cottage cheese and spinach and stuff. Will try and remember where recipe was from and share.

kid · 29/02/2012 22:06

I've got that recipe for the spinach and cottage cheese version. I don't mind that one at all. Tonights one was basically carrots and green beans. I did add extra lean mince to some for DH and DC and they ate most of it but not all.

Hedgepig · 29/02/2012 22:22

I've tried the spinach and cottage cheese one too and it was yummy, although I will make it as a lasagne rather than a cannelloni if i do it agin, as life I'd too short to be faffing filling cannelloni IMHO

Riapwhatyousow · 29/02/2012 22:23

sorry no WI for me. Woke up a bit panicky, so setting up the Wii was far from my thoughts.

good luck all of you for DoDSmile

are we due a new thread yet?

Riapwhatyousow · 29/02/2012 22:25

yay for everyoneSmile well done.

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/02/2012 23:20

Well done everyone!

Lasagne a good idea hedge. I use an icing bag to fill my cannelloni, so don't find them too bad to do, but lasagne would be even easier.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 01/03/2012 07:45

Morning all, quick post while on way to work. Great losses yesterday.

Food:
B: weetabix
L: chicken and cous cous salad, fruit
D: spaghetti carbonara if I can get my hands on some quark. Do you think I can do it with ff nat yog and philli instead and syn it?

grinningbee · 01/03/2012 08:32

Morning all!

Great losses last night everyone, well done Smile. The spinach and mushroom cannelloni recipe is on our recipe thread, and I can vouch for it being very nice. I always add a smidge of chilli flakes as well. It's on the menu for the coming week funnily enough.

Cheese I reckon you could just use philly - if I recall, 70g of the extra light stuff counts as a HEA. Cor, that hurt the brain cell!

Ria I need to get my thinking cap on for the next thread title. Especially given the way that we can natter! Roughly 150 posts left on this one. Hope you're ok?

Well, another typical day here. The floor is covered in cheerios and bits of scotch pancake, so I suppose I'd better get the hoover out.

Food for the day:

Ready brek, 1 x ryvita with 1 tsp jam, banana
Cheese triangles on toast, fruit and a yogurt
Quorn chilli and rice

TSP Are you hungover? Hope you were celebrating last night missy. Please let us know how it all went Smile

Morning all!

This is a bit hasty as first day back at work, so must look super busy when boss comes in .... but just to say I PASSED! Grin Grin

Technically speaking you can't call me Dr Pimpernel until I've handed in my corrections/worn my cap and gown, but fuck it, my supervisor has already called me Dr P so I figure I can refuse to answer to anything else from now on, right?! I do realise this is going to get real tired, real quick...

I have a bit of a hangover but in all honesty felt far from celebratory last night. My main examiner is a famously chilly, rather unpleasant woman and she made the experience as difficult as possible, so that right up until the last moment I was convinced I was going to fail. Even when she finally admitted I was being passed it was done rather grudgingly so that when I came out, instead of bouncing onto the streets I slumped shakily onto the steps of the building and started chain-smoking. Whe my supervisor saw me he said I looked so despondent he assumed I had failed!!

Anyway, I do have a tendency to be erm, slightly hard on myself, and think that anything other than being totally covered in glory is an abject failure, so I am trying to buck up and feel more cheery. I am sure once the dust has settled and this coffee has kicked in I will feel more celebratory!

More from me later, but BLOODY WELL DONE on all the losses. I am dying to get back in the saddle: I swear I can feel my outlying regions wobbling gently in manner of blancmange as I walk Grin

grinningbee · 01/03/2012 09:39

WOOHOOOOOOO!!

Dr Pimpernel Very swish sounding. I'm sure the reality will hit soon. Bloody well done! I hope you have something nice and properly celebratory lined up.

I'm really really pleased Smile

You need to change your name on here now DrScarlett Pimpernel!
And can I at you chain smoking please. Do you normally smoke? That will greatly hinder your chances of getting and staying pregnant you know.

Hedgepig · 01/03/2012 10:28

congrats DrP Grin I knew you would be fine.
