Here we go again Slinkies Grin
Can you believe we are starting our third year together? We always said we were in this for the long haul, well we weren't kidding!

So stay and enjoy success, the support and the lunacy. There will be ups and downs, but we will do this together.
So Wine Cheers

No, me too Pretty. I am sheepishly going to say I lost only 0.5lb this week. I am so knackered at the moment, but after I've had a cuppa and a rest I am kicking my backside out for a run.

My interview seemed to go well, very thorough - 8 questions, then I had to describe a scenario where I deal with a challenging situation. After that met 2 LSAs and had the opportunity to ask them any questions. Lastly I had to do a what would you do in this situation type questionnaire. It seemed to flow for me. Fingers x'd.

GettinTrimmer · 21/01/2012 16:24

Well done on your 2lb loss Pretty. I know Bebe does Mondays, hope the others sign in soon.

smokinaces · 22/01/2012 12:09

Well done pretty on 2lb and trimmer on your loss too!! Every loss is good :-)

I did 0.5 too, not surprised after last Friday night and Saturday and the picking I've done this week. Now 10st 12.5 which I'm happy with. Next few pounds I am aiming for one a week or so, not in any great rush now. 10st 5 is my next goal, which is my top ideal bmi, then 10st my final Target.

smokinaces · 22/01/2012 12:10

Piste keeps forgetting to check in and weigh in, naughty Piste!!

prettybird · 22/01/2012 16:47

NAUGHTY Piste Grin

GettinTrimmer · 23/01/2012 09:05

I went to zumba again last night. At least it's some exercise, but not sure how effective as I spent time trying to watch what was happening!

I am waiting for a phone call to tell me if I have the job or not

smokinaces · 23/01/2012 09:16

Everything crossed trimmer!

bebejones · 23/01/2012 09:25

Fingers & toes crossed Trimmer! Well done on your 0.5lb, a loss is a loss!! :)

Well done Pretty! :)

Where is that naughty Piste?!?! :o

1lb loss for me this week. Nothing short of a miracle really. Very bad food week. Blush Resolved to be better this week!

Smalline · 23/01/2012 16:40

Any news yet Trimmer? sounds like the interview went really well, everything is x'd for youSmile.

Well done everyone on your losses.

I stayed the same this week, a bit disappointing really as I thought I had done well, but anyway I'm going to try and have breakfast every morning this week, and drink more water.

GettinTrimmer · 23/01/2012 16:51

It's 4.40 they said they'd let me know today but still no news. It was a positive experience whatever the outcome Smile I will be doing a course and volunteering for more hours (I only do an hour a week atm because of the lunchtime job) so something will come along. Just hope it's soon!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 24/01/2012 10:54

Oi! I can still see you lot! Staying on 10:2, seemed to have settled there, but I will go back to weighing in on Fridays and posting. I could push it to lose more but I think I'm OK at the moment.

Trim - any news?

OP posts:
GettinTrimmer · 24/01/2012 21:33

Still no news. They said they were going to ring yesterday but no phone call today either.

I still think the interview went well anyway.

prettybird · 24/01/2012 22:02

That's the right attitude to have. You never know, you might be surprised. And whatever the outcome, you've already got something positive out of the experience. Smile

GettinTrimmer · 24/01/2012 22:09

Thanks pretty Smile

It was very involved with 8 questions then had to describe a challenging scenario, after that another informal chat with 2 people who work there, then a what would you do in this instance questionnaire. I was able to draw on experience over the past year of working in the school and volunteering at the college in my answers.

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/01/2012 13:30

morning - blondes is back from oz- will weigh friday - dread to think what ive put on in the last 2.5weeks

ell done all x

GettinTrimmer · 25/01/2012 14:06

Hi Blondes! Great to see you. Ease yourself back in gently - glad you had a lovely holiday.

I've just had an e-mail to say didn't get the job, but the interview went well. I have asked for more feedback, apparently it was a difficult decision to make, strong candidates applying with masses of experience.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 27/01/2012 06:46

Hey lovely GT, sorry you didn't get the job Sad

Am 10:1 this morning, going back down to 9 something so that when I go skiing in Half Term I look slinky as I slink down those American pistes!

Good luck all x

prettybird · 27/01/2012 11:35

You'll look a real ski bunny Piste Smile

I STS this week. A wee bit disappointed Sad as I've Shredded all week and generally been "good". I did however have a nice Burns Supper on Wednesday and a good haggis has plenty of lamb fat plus I treated myself to a nice cranachan for dessert. And we had a few glasses of nice wine.

GettinTrimmer · 27/01/2012 13:23

wi today at sw. I lost 0.5lb which I am actually pleased with as wasn't too good with the diet. well done anyway on sts Pretty, it'll probably show on the scales next week.

Have you ever heard of a veggie haggis pretty? I had haggis over 18 years ago before I gave up meat, it was really good. I remember at the time that my friend from Glenrothes was disgusted at the thought of a veggie one!

prettybird · 27/01/2012 14:12

We had a veggie haggis last year to supplement the Lidl one we had. It was a McSween's one, so you'd have thought it would have been good. It wasn't.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 27/01/2012 15:07

No offence, but I can't do haggis!
