ironing Shock there's no call for that kind of language, young lady.

porridge for breakfast - NO TOAST. going to walk into town in a bit.

FjorGynAndHotWater · 16/03/2012 11:47

+0.25 which isn't too bad at all considering I ate a toffee apple muffin and drank gin last night!

All bets are off now though until Monday, hope you all have a lovely weekend Smile

OctopusSting · 16/03/2012 14:43

-2.5 which is fab, but 3lbs over the last 2 weeks which i think is fair Smile

Mad, mad circuits this morning including 160 box jumps Shock, 5 mins powerplate and took dd2 swimming. May do school walk (2.5 miles) this avo.

Had my fat test done. Am at 30% (just within 'acceptable') and on the upper end of BMI (23.5), so basically 'could do better' Sad

On the upside the inch which the medical profession shaved off me last year has reappeared Grin. I am taking that as officially I am 5'5.

Well done on the no toast Bender, and hope you get back in the low carb vibe soon Fjorn.

How did you ladies fare this morning MyCHild & Digbert?? Ans any lurkers Grin

onanightlikethis · 16/03/2012 16:10

Well done!! I have had a fab day exercise wise- 10k cycle, 6krun, followed by 1hour PT. 900 cals!!
Have also gone down to 10.5.....:) So 3lbs to get to a stone before the end of march which was my PT goal. Then only 8lbs to go..
Need to come back and read properly later.

OctopusSting · 16/03/2012 18:26

Well done on the exercise Digbert - my muscles are fatigued and complaining. A LOT!

MyChildDoesntNeedSleep · 16/03/2012 20:40

No movement on the scales this week!

I've reset my goal on MFP to 0.5lb a week. This is because I'm pretty happy with my size now and am transitioning to maintenance and I JUST NEED MORE FOOD!! I don't mind if it takes me another 5 weeks to get to 9 stone. I'm going to be upping my exercise as well as the food. You lot do so much, you put me to shame! I can't do too much strength training because I build muscle really quickly, but my 10K programme picks up pace next week, and I'll be doing proper runs of 5 miles and above...can't wait!

Did you end up walking the school run Octo? Our school run is about a third of a mile!

Well done on 10.5 Dig! Is this on the gym scales or yours?

I'm having a takeaway tonight. I've worked five days this week, and I just really feel like a night off calorie counting. MFP says I can now I've reset my goal, so I suppose I am still calorie counting Confused.

MyChildDoesntNeedSleep · 16/03/2012 20:50

Octo what is this inch of which you speak? You can have an inch off me if you want...I think either I'm still growing, or all the men around here are shrinking Hmm. -2.5 is fab! Were you expecting that this week?

Dig that's some mad exercise! Shock Have you reset your weight loss goal? I thought you were going for 9.2?

Fjorn You know the 0.25 isn't real...barely worth mentioning!

onanightlikethis · 16/03/2012 20:56

I'll be happy at around 9.7 - any more is a bonus. I look so much better already and realistically I know that I'm not a petite slim build- I'm athletic/ sporty. Oh and with curves. Well done you on being happy with your size.
The mad exercise wasn't actually that hard!

MyChildDoesntNeedSleep · 16/03/2012 21:37

Well, I couldn't even contemplate that much. I'm anaemic, which means I get tired pretty easily.

OctopusSting · 18/03/2012 22:32

MyChild - It was only so much off as i had a random weight gain the previous Friday, hence i said 3lb over 2 weeks which i was expecting.

Re the height thingummy, an HCP measured me last year at 5'4 when i had always claimed 5'5 and a half. I was relieved therefore to be put back at 5'5!

Oh, and no, i didn't do the school walk. It was too cold and miserable. Wuss Grin. THe school is 1.25 miles away and it is very hilly where we live. Hauling the double buggy (shoot me now for using it) is a workout in itself!

I have had and appalling/lovely time food/drink wise. My dreams of breaking the 10st mark will have to wait a while i think Hmm. I will try and brave the scales tomorrow but a +4 or 5 sadly won't shock me Blush

MyChildDoesntNeedSleep · 18/03/2012 22:57

I've had the weekend off, hence why I've not updated!

I think I need to change my goal back to 1lb per week, though, because I've got a lot of ground to cover after this weekend! I don't think I shall weigh myself this week either!

OctopusSting · 19/03/2012 07:41

+6.5 ShockHmm

I didn't overeat that much!

onanightlikethis · 19/03/2012 08:26

Omg octo!!!!
Another with a weekend off here... Not too bad food wise but very wine heavy.

FjorGynAndHotWater · 19/03/2012 09:48

Thank god for that octo, was worried I would be drummed out of Hot Mamas for my hideous gain this weekend but you beat me by 0.25lb, I am only up 6.25! Beer, wine, cake, guinness, toast, chinese takeaway etc all to blame Blush

FjorGynAndHotWater · 19/03/2012 09:52

I am going to try really hard for the next 15 days to eat as few carbs as possible and try and get down to 11st 7lb for my birthday then put it all back on again According to this morning's weigh I have 8.25 to lose Shock

OctopusSting · 19/03/2012 17:46

LOL Fjorn, never fear about being chucked out!!

You know what, i had no crisps/cakes/biscuits/chips etc, just a bit too much bread and beer so I am hoping most of it is pretty temporary. That said, i have had a (small) piece of cake today and cereal for breakfast so not the best start to getting it shifted. Hey ho. Off to the pub this evening for toddler group planning meeting, but i will try and be good and am hopeful of a run outside tomorrow Smile

Back to the treadmill grindstone ladies Smile.

Grin
MyChildDoesntNeedSleep · 19/03/2012 18:38
Grin

Off to gym this evening for 4 mile run.

OctopusSting · 20/03/2012 11:44

Down to +4, probably not helped by 1.5 pints of cider last night Grin

FjorGynAndHotWater · 20/03/2012 12:07

You slack alice re cider Grin but yay for -2.5. I'm down 3 on yesterday and only cheated with one biscuit. Have had another one at playgroup today though, chocolate digestive mmmmmm, being good from now until Friday teatime..

OctopusSting · 20/03/2012 18:42

I know Blush

Very good today and no carbs, so hoping for a little more off tomorrow. I have only managed a 2.5 mile walk today, but had 4 children here after school, so i must have worked something off in nervous energy Hmm

Circuits tomorrow & pilates on Thurs Smile

OctopusSting · 20/03/2012 19:25

Horizon, 9pm BBC2 is on 'The Truth about Fat'. May be interesting or a pile of crap Grin

MyChildDoesntNeedSleep · 20/03/2012 19:29

That might be interesting Octo. I've got this series link, cos I'm a bit of a science geek, but I forgot that is what this week is about! Thanks for reminding me. Last week was about the role the unconscious/subconcious plays in our lives.

MyChildDoesntNeedSleep · 20/03/2012 21:36

Forget weight...those twins look nothing alike! Are they sure they're identical? Confused

OctopusSting · 20/03/2012 21:53

LOL.

I am struggling to see much 'new' here tbh. Yes, if you are lacking in a fullness hormone, then you need to exercise more self control, not just blame a missing hormone?

By god I struggle, but i am determined to beat it.......

MyChildDoesntNeedSleep · 20/03/2012 21:55

Why did they choose the thinnest surgeon in the world to present the programme?
