The Golden Rules that will aid you on your journey with our like minded support system:

  1. Eat what you WANT
  2. Eat when you are HUNGRY
  3. Eat CONCIOUSLY
  4. STOP when you are satisfied and full

This weight loss system is about re-educating your body; learning to listen to it and in doing so losing weight and inches so forget diets, they may work for a while, but they aren't permanent solutions. The Paul McKenna system works and is easy to maintain.

I've C&P'd our previous threads links as they are helpful.

I feel I have no one to talk too since my Nan died and that is why I fret so much, come on here too much, feel so alone and lonely. It is hard.

TheOriginalFAB · 28/10/2011 15:38

Thank you Niecie Smile.

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 29/10/2011 19:12

Hellooooooooooooo.....

How are we all doing today? I was doing fine until tiredness hit while we were out and we're flumped in front of Strictly with a maccy d's. Ho hum.

TheOriginalFAB · 29/10/2011 19:39

I love the idea of a McDonalds.

I have just had a piece of cake but I had eaten very healthily all day and it was home made cake so less crap in it.

Solo · 29/10/2011 23:41

Hello! I've done really well today :)

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 30/10/2011 00:03

Fab homemade cakes have no calories in at all, didn't you know? Grin

Well done Solo! I am glad you are back as solo, I just couldn't call you hairy knickers Grin

Some good, some bad here today. I can feel that my hunger is decreasing now that DS2 is on a reasonable amount of solids, and so I must, must Paul carefully to avoid piling the pounds back on. In fact I am going to listen to the CD now before I go to sleep.

Solo · 30/10/2011 00:24
Grin

I have eaten very little today, but only when hungry. Not been particularly mindful, but feel good about it anyway :)

TheOriginalFAB · 30/10/2011 09:34

Just had a piece of calorie free home made cake for breakfast Grin. I am having a cleaning day so will burn it off an dit is better than havcing it this evening and then eating more crap.

neverputasockinatoaster · 30/10/2011 15:36

Hello everyone, I wonder if I might join back in again? I Pauled for a while and then it all went to pot and now I am even huger than I was before and I am doing 3 Moonwalks next year and and and......... aaaaaarrrrggghhhhh!

Have dug out book for a read and have dug out mp3 kept specially for Pauling.....

I weigh 16 stone 8lbs and I am 5 foot 2. It is NOT a good look!

Solo · 30/10/2011 18:17

Hello never and welcome back :)

I was really good until my main meal today. I usually go to Mum's for Sunday dinner, but she's been out today, so I had to do it myself harrumph!!! Wink and it was blardy lovely! and I couldn't didn't stop at full Blush...

VJaaarrrggghhh · 30/10/2011 21:05

Hi did this at the beginning of the year and managed to lose a stone, since then I've not lost any or gained any but now need to crack on and lose the next stone, so I'm dusting down the book and I'm ready to start Pauling again. The thing I find most difficult is stopping when I'm full and leaving food on the plate.

Deafworm · 31/10/2011 09:46

Coming to jump back in, hi pp, not sure if I recognise anyone else sorry if I should

I have been atrocious lately, eating too much of foods I know don't do me any good and I'm fairly certain I've regained a fair bit of what I've lost so fresh start. Enough yo yo nonsense I'm going to restart, now, and win!

Just weighed I had lost 1st 7lb since January, have regained 3lb since sept 9th, 1lb of that in the last 10 days, so fresh start as of now, it's not terrible but frustrating. Have been away from mumsnet for a while but seem to be back now so can I sidle back in with you and carry on Smile

Deafworm · 31/10/2011 09:47

Never I was 17st 1 at the start of the year and 5ft 4 you aren't alone

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 31/10/2011 09:47

Hello never and VJ :)

I did pretty well yesterday. Big roast at lunchtime but then I only had a cup of tea and biscuit later on because I wasn't hungry at all. Not so long ago I would have had a sandwich or something at tea time, just because it was tea time!

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 31/10/2011 09:49

x-posts - hello Deafworm :) That is not much regain at all if you really haven't been focusing - the PMing must really have sunk in!

Deafworm · 31/10/2011 10:03

Thanks Ali, I know, I guess it's just it know the loss itself would be much better if it weren't for the frequent periods of losing focus Grin I still have nearly 6 stone to drop at that weight it will take 4 years Sad I have to get a handle on it!

I'm 27 and do not want to enter my 30's this size and were hoping to have another baby next year so losing well would help there too. Just annoyed with myself but no more blame just focus I think.

I was one of the lucky ones who went to the seminar at the start of the year, it wasn't the right time to be able to focus afterwards but the mirror stuff stayed with me and I feel a million times better about myself from it, so now I have to get the body to match the new confidence!

VJaaarrrggghhh · 31/10/2011 11:50

Hi, I find I eat too just because it's lunchtime or dinnertime, so I am trying hard to listen to my body. It's nearly lunchtime so will feed ds and wait til I'm hungry, and try not to nibble on his leftovers!!!

Solo · 01/11/2011 00:09

Been good today!!! Grin

Hello and welcome back Deafworm and VJ :)

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 01/11/2011 00:33

Well done solo Grin

I am floundering somewhat, I've lost my focus. I really need to listen to the CD, but half hours of peace and quiet are hard to come by!

Solo · 01/11/2011 00:49

Yes, I know what you mean. I need to do some serious listening too, but I have only been eating when hungry, which can't be bad.

Off to sleep now. Night!!

VJaaarrrggghhh · 01/11/2011 07:03

I did really well yesterday until the evening when I snacked, I had just been out trick or treating and had got soaking wet and felt miserable. Never mind today is a new day!

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 02/11/2011 00:38

Argh why am I not asleep. Bad day today, too much scoffing this evening because I was tired instead of going to bed.

ColdSancerre · 02/11/2011 11:29

I'm finding it much harder if I don't listen to the CD daily. So I know I must listen to the CD daily, but then I don't which makes me a bit arrrgggghhhh at myself.

On the positive side the scales are out of batteries and I haven't bothered to replace them because weighing myself frequently is of no interest. On the negative side my clothes don't seem any less tight.

I've been struggling with 'what do I want to eat' thoughts because often it's 'nothing really appeals' even though I'm hungry. Which is not like me.

ppeatfruit · 02/11/2011 13:02

Deafworm!!!! welcome back it's good to hear from you!! Welcome VJaaaa I put the leftover food in the fridge and when there's something SOOO delicious I psych myself into not overeating by saying to myself 'it will still be there later' .

Fab we will miss you but I totally understand where you're coming from, wishing you and yr family all the luck with the new school and with granny's help. (you could perhaps come just on our thread to let us know how it's all going) Grin

ColdSan I find in the winter I always like something hot, or at least not cold out of the fridge, have you got the book to read?

TheOriginalFAB · 02/11/2011 14:22

Sorry I have been AWOL. I am sure you understand that all has been hectic.

The children are all in the new school Grin, my anxiety attacks have completely gone Grin and eating is not an issue in any shape or form Shock.
