Hi everyone, haven't posted for over a month Blush, have had a long, serious chat with myself and this time I am definitely back on board! Will catch up with thread as soon as I can.

Not sure if it's MN or my internet connection, but MN keeps disappearing halfway through my message to cheese ! Have written and lost two messages, but think I just succeeded getting the important bit for tonight's lust Wink

kid · 07/09/2011 19:52

I almost forgot DoD this morning, good job I hadn't had breakfast otherwise I would have skipped WI.

I only started SW on Monday so bear that in mind with my result.

DC went back to school today thank God and they had a lovely day. DS has got a migraine so has been extra grumpy tonight and I think he took himself off to bed nearly an hour ago.

My routine in the morning has changed from last term as I no longer have parking permits to park near my school. I have decided to drive DC to school, bring the car back home and then walk to work (20 mins). After work, I walk home to get the car and then drive to DS's school. So, thats an extra set of exercise (40min walking x 5 times per week)

I had a lovely dinner tonight. SW recipe and everyone ate it, even my very fussy nephew and my dad who didn't want anything until I started dishing it up!
I made the fusili in rich tomato, onion and olive sauce. I also added some boiled chicken to it and it was really nice. An added bonus was that it was easy to make too. I'd really recommend it.

lizardqueenie · 07/09/2011 20:38

Evening everyone

Just swopping in before swopping off just as quickly.

Havent weighed in today, as I was up several times in the night with DD, and when it gets to about 5.30 you forget whether you actually need to be going to bed or getting up. I went back to bed but not really for long enough. DH got up with her at 7 but I could hear shrieking so thought I should forgo any lay in and investigate.

My. eyes. hurt. so. much. Have just about been able to function today (can you hear the violins?)
So, just going to have tea (SW mac cheese) and then off to bed.

WI & catch up tomorrow. Have a good evening all & keep out of the cold, its freezing out there. brrr and zzzzzz

x

I keep reading Bee's breakfast as " weetabix and nicotine" and think, urgh, dear me bee!!!

Anyway bee, look at the new range of tights in M&S they have some really nice ones in a fawn colour with pink roses on - they will look great with boots. They also have the same style in another colour - a darker brown I think. They are really pretty and make a nice change from the usual black or navy.

Dirty K & banana
Quorn sandwich, grapes, activa yogurt
SW chips, beans &egg (truckers tea!!)

1 jaffa cake and NO chocolate cake - not even when brought to me and introduced intimately!!!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 07/09/2011 22:04

Cheeseandbiscuits · 07/09/2011 22:11

Here are my new clothes:

Jeans

skirt
Both look fab with knee high boots. I am loving being a size 12/14!

ameRIAcansmooth · 07/09/2011 22:12

ROFL @ gavin and stacey. (we are new to it ) I LOVE Nessa (i knew that anyway from the snippets I've seen when DS has watched. Wonder if I can get DH to watch it from the beginning? we watch his reruns often enoughHmm).

LOL at weetabix and nicotine. am not a smoker, but would love a way to make weetabix more palatable!

ameRIAcansmooth · 07/09/2011 22:14

yay all you losers Grin

ameRIAcansmooth · 07/09/2011 22:32

wow cheese, those jeans are tinyEnvy

Tesco have some long boots I am tempted by, but wonder if I need heels really. I don't like fashion (I have surrenderred -sp?- my lovely army boots I have had for almost 20 years, to DS1. I want them back, and the gorgeous patchwork skirt I used to wear with them - I didn't give that to DS BTWWink)

Am wondering if I have been abducted by aliens! I am SO hoping DH is back tomorrow for me to go to a dance class, possibly followed by another zumba classShock, am even considering asking my mum to babysit so I can go . Have to confess the "bogof" aspect of the gym classes has helped my enthusiam so far, and it means I can justify another class, but I feel quite good, and would like this good feeling to continueSmile It is about time I did stuff for me and left DH in charge of the boys I think (even if they will just watch Dr Who and eat crisps, and probably shout at each other quite a lot Hmm). And it's "strictly" season...Wink

Cheeseandbiscuits · 07/09/2011 22:34

Not tiny in size 14, sadly. I also love strictly, am looking forward. Think the line up is a bit pants though.

Sofabitch · 07/09/2011 22:34

Hey. Can I join your thread Grin.

I'm just starting slimming world. And I REALLY. Need this to work. I do not want to be 30 and fat. I want to loose 7 stone. Which seems really unachievable right now as it is such a big step. I'm on day 2 I joined Monday night. I've found it really good so so far although I'm worried I'm eating too much as I am scoffing loads Blush. Anyway I'm following EE right now but I may switch to green as I'm struggling to eat 1/3 meat.

ameRIAcansmooth · 07/09/2011 22:35

AND, I have to make the most of all opportunities while DH is actually here to look after the boys for me. Today's interview was rubbish, but it is only a matter of borrowed time until we are at the beck and call of his work again I am sure.(Unless the hospital opinion tomorrow is so bad, then I will have to get a proper jobHmm)

Cheeseandbiscuits · 07/09/2011 22:37

Oh good you found us. Welcome Welcome!
Don't look at it as 7stone, break it into chunks. I have prob 2 stone left to lose but have broken it down to 1 stone by Christmas so that seems easier!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 07/09/2011 22:38

I love classes Ria I do them 4 times per week. 2x zumba, 1 x pilates and 1x body pump. All will change when I go back to work in Jan!

Sofabitch · 07/09/2011 22:39

My 1st target is to get back to where I was a year ago. So 1 stone. And then my club ten after that. I'm really going to look at this stone by stone. I'm hoping for a great first week to really kick start me in the right direction.

Sofabitch · 07/09/2011 22:41

Eek exercise. Um I've promised myself that I WILL have lost 2 stone by April when dd starts preschool so I can feel more confident about joining a class. Unfortunately zumba seems to be when I can't make it Sad

LittlePushka · 07/09/2011 22:42

Thank you Cheese - though it has not gone unnoticed that your stats were accompanied by a somewhat verbose, and, if I may say, pitiful excuse.. You are forgiven however, being as you are going to look a fox in the threads size 12/14. Grin

ameRIAcansmooth · 07/09/2011 22:46

hi sofa, welcome. I also need to lose about that, I am thinking I will be happy enough if I can lose 6 though (takes me to a nice round odd number that I can't remember being, so can't imagine being less than).

that's tiny to me cheese.EnvyEnvy anyhow, if they look good and you are comfy, it doesn't matter what the label saysSmile

I have to confess that (as a late '80s/early '90s Neighbours fan) Jason Donovan is of interestBlush. DH will be very taken with Lulu and Anita Dobson (he has a bizarre fixation with women old enough to be his mother - Felicity Kendall was his favourite last year). I have a slight problem with "men other women wouldn't look at" and "men old enough to be my dad", but I can't remember anyone out of the line-up at this point that fits that criteria!

kid · 07/09/2011 22:54

I want to buy some new clothes but not sure what size to buy so I figure I might as well wait a bit longer and see if I can squeeze into some of my smaller clothes. Why does a 14 have to vary in sizes between stores? There should be a law about them all being the same or something lol

I might order some clothes online. Then I can try them on in the comfort of my own home and just send them back if they aren't any good. Also I can look for some bargains which is more important!

I am really enjoying cooking at the moment, thats literally unheard of for me, I usually hate cooking so much we'd often have 2 or 3 take aways a week just so I don't have to cook.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 07/09/2011 22:55

No snogs for you pushka Wink. I will reweigh in the morning. Hoping for a loss, at least a teeny one.

sofabitch that sounds like a plan. The first step is joining the bloody fat club so well done you!
