I'm being a lazy so and so as I skipped gym again thus morning Sad
It's always fine once I get there, it's just getting there that takes so much effort.

I'm going to do shred today, try to take away the guilt of skipping gym. I also plan to stay on plan today.

Suppose I should get dressed now or I'll never get out of the house!

SlinkyB · 25/09/2011 11:37

Morning all, sorry been AWOL, haven't put the laptop on or stuck to the plan the past few days

Seems I'm not the only one who has fallen off the waggon though! Sounds like we all need a kick up the bum Wink

kid so sorry to hear of your friend's loss Sad Good luck with the shred, at least you're even contemplating it! Am also Envy of the size 12's

cheese sounds like you needed that ice-cream in the end, hope dd is ok? It must be frustrating being all weak after your illness, hope your strength returns soon.

bee I'm Shock at your dh and MIL; can't believe they didn't get up with the little ones on holiday; that's so unfair! Dp and I took it in turns when we went away in the summer, but I know I've got a good'un.

ria Hope you enjoyed the wine and Calendar Girls

Welcome to Trimmer - it's fab here, very chatty and helpful for SW.

So here's how I've fallen off the waggon: I've been to an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet and drunk lots of wine for TWO nights in a row !! Friday had been planned for ages (girly night) then last night was a bit imprompu but good fun (big gang of us and MIL had ds overnight so dp and I had a few drinks and a lovely lie-in this morning).

BUT! Am gonna get back on it tomorrow as my stomach is huge and I feel gross. Know I'm going to have a gain this week, just have to limit how much now.

ameRIAcansmooth · 25/09/2011 11:56

roundabout that area bee. used to go to the bar at the blue dopphin years ago to watch live music.

CBA today. should take boys out. don't want to.

DH is grating a little. can't cope with all this all or nothing.

SlinkyB · 25/09/2011 11:57

Oh, and pixie I soooo know what you mean about that wretched self-destruct button and targets! Having professional photos of the family taken in six days time, but instead of being ultra-good (plan A) I've been very naughty. Must be putting too much pressure on ourselves or something?

pixiestix · 25/09/2011 12:37

Argh, its so frustrating isn't it? Why do we do it??? I've got a party this time next week - one of those fancy dress parties where 90% of the people attending come in what could be their underwear Angry I'm also 1lb from going into the next stone bracket and 2.5lb from hitting my three stone loss. You'd think that would be motivation enough, wouldn't you?

Whats CBA Ria? (Sorry, if its something obvious Blush)

Friendlymum67 · 25/09/2011 15:43

Hi, can I join you ladies?

Joined SW on Friday and knew it would be shocking getting weighed and it was!! So, here I am and struggling already!! Not entirely sure what Extra Easy is about and craving 'food' generally but I have at least 4 1/2 stone to lose, so I must persevere!

ameRIAcansmooth · 25/09/2011 16:35

CBA = can't be arsedBlush

been out, got cold and we, had white toastBlush wish my self-destruct button would malfunction!

Sofabitch · 25/09/2011 18:38

Hey guys. Been a really good day
Today after all the alcohol

B - mixed frozen berries and total 0% Greek yoghurt
L- ham salad and a small jacket potato
D- was a massive roast with chicken fry light potatoes and parsnips cabbage carrots and broccoli 3 syns on gravy and 3 syns on stuffing. It was lovely.

I'm on my phone and now can't remember what anyone else said Blush so for now I'll just say I hope you guys are doing ok and can get back on the wagon soon. X

3rd weigh in tomorrow. Apart from the vodka on Friday night which I worked out to nearly 40 syns Blush plus the 6 for wine and 12 normal syns I've been on plan all week and under 10 syns every day so it has been my best week yet Grin I'm looking forward to tomorrow

Just a little Angry dh has complained that he has lost 5 kgs since I started this diet. Which is nearly as much as me and he has been eating crap as well! He is moaning because he doesn't want to be a 28 waist again and has worked hard to get his weight up. I could cry Sad I wish I had that problem

grinningbee · 25/09/2011 20:09

Big welcome to Friendlymum come on in and don't take any notice of our current falls from grace Grin

Sofa stuff chocolate buttons in his mouth when he is asleep Wink

I am with you all on the self destruct button. I didn't want to slip back so soon after reaching a 3 stone loss - and today at Skeggy (and another row) I ate two croissants, an icecream and the worst bit... 4 of those freshly fried donuts. I did buy the hat though Grin Dd thinks it's hers. Nope!

Everytime I've done SW properly, I've always had a massive fail. If I promise to kick your collective bums (those who are currently waggonless) please please please kick mine.

In the interests of fairness, and not wanting to weasel out, I am going to weigh in this week. Just don't be too shocked.

Ria don't worry - I won't be stalking you Wink I wanted to go somewhere close to Whitby as I've never been there before. Always fancied it, so I hope it's nice.

Here's hoping we all get some kip tonight.

OP posts:
Cheeseandbiscuits · 25/09/2011 20:12

If it helps I have had steak and ale pie, followed by rhubarb crumble and custard. All in the name of convalescence of course! Grin

ameRIAcansmooth · 25/09/2011 21:35

you need to build yourself up cheese. hope you are feeling much better.

It's OK bee, as we are friends on FB I don't mind you knowing my approx whereabouts - as I have seen your profile and know you don't know me IYSWIM - it's just when I rant a bit much about DH and work etc I wouldn't like to be outed! Whitby is, erm, lovely might be pushing it, but I LOVE it, especially at Easter and Halloween when it's Goth weekend - that's the only time I can't pick out DH in a crowd!, or when its boxing day bank holiday or the first weekend in the new year when it's a bit deserted. and the countryside nearby is fabulous.

have managed to avoid my OU work againBlush Think I need many kickings of different kinds!

kid · 25/09/2011 22:14

I think DH really loves me!
We went out shopping for a new sofa today and found one that we both liked. I would have been happy to buy it today (on credit, not buy it outright!) but we decided to have a look around at some other shops.

Well, we couldn't find any other shops so we ended up in TK Maxx as DH wanted to look at coats. While we were in there, I spotted a coat I liked. I tried it on (size 14) and it was lovely. Bit loose but that's brilliant as I'll be able to wear jumpers with it. I was then shocked and disappointed to see it cost £100. I put it back on the rack and went to tell DH about it. He asked if I liked it which I did so he bought it for me Smile

I then spotted some weights while I was queuing up so I paid for them on his card too lol

(I then had KFC for lunch but I don't really want to share that info so I'm hiding it here in these brackets)

Ironing all done for school and work tomorrow, I really, really, really need to get organised as my house is a mess right now. Maybe tomorrow evening I'll have some energy to do it.
(another tiny confession hidden in brackets, I didn't do Shred - but at least I have weights now for when I do get round to doing it!)

There, no more confessions from me!

Sofabitch · 25/09/2011 22:26

Talking of Facebook if anyone wants to add me drop me a pm ( not that I've worked out how to find them yet lol). I'm always there on my phone.

GandTiceandaslice · 25/09/2011 22:28

sorry, I've not been here for a few days. No excuses either. Blush

Have weigh in tomorrow. Am hoping for a 2lb loss. Prob be 1lb though. But I want 2lbs.

People can also add me to fb as well if they PM me.

Sofabitch · 25/09/2011 22:28

£100 on a coat. Lucky you :) I'll be reusing last years £20 asda coat that I hate :( but next winter I'll have to buy a new coat because I'll be so thin Grin wishful thinking we got a new sofa in march from dfs and I love it. But the quality doesn't seem to be there for the cost. Iyswim.

Going to burn off some calories with dh in bed. Grin night all x

QBEE · 25/09/2011 22:28

I joined last week and have a Tuesday weigh in but have made a major boob Blush I have eaten a 450g pot of Onken four days in a row thinking I was being good and they were syn free.

I logged onto the site and thought I would see which other varieties I could have and realised that I have been eating the mango and passionfruit FULL FAT ones and not the other fat free mango one that I should have been eating!!!

That means I have had a crazy 60 odd syns on top of the 10 each day that I have been allowing myself Angry Add to that I have started my period this morning so am bloated.

So I doubt that I will see a loss in my first week now which is so cringeworthy I feel like not going back and I need to as I have uber stoneage to lose.

I shall go back though (mate will make me Grin) and fingers crossed I might be able to drop a pound in the next two days.

How much is everyone hoping to lose by Christmas? 12 weeks ish away now

kid · 25/09/2011 22:34

QBEE Just go back to the class and explain what you were doing wrong. At least you realised and know why you might not have lost much weight. Don't give up, you have to give it a month or so to see an average loss.

sofa Believe me, there is no way I would have spent £100 out of my bank on a coat! It will last me longer than just this year, plus I've been wearing my £20 matalan coat for the last 3 years Grin
The sofa we picked was a leather one from DFS and will set us back £1,700 so I'm not in a huge rush to order it. I am hoping it goes into the sales or something.

Sofabitch · 25/09/2011 22:45

Also Qbee If you have followed the rest of the plan you should still see a small loss. I hope you get something. It's really disheartening to not loss a lot on your first week. But at least you've identified where you went wrong. I alway check the syns before I eat anything now lol

QBEE · 25/09/2011 22:53

Thanks, fingers crossed I see something come off! Might wear floaty summer dress and take my shoes off Grin

I saw the yoghurt in the sw magazine but obviously picked up the wrong one when I went shopping and never double checked.

kid Hopefully DFS will do one of their 'double discount order now for Christmas' campaigns soon and you might be able to get your sofa cheaper.

kid · 25/09/2011 23:00

That's what I'm hoping. The sofa is really lovely and our current one is a right state. It is 7 years old and we have allowed the dog to jump all over it. There is no way he will be allowed on the new one that's for sure!

grinningbee · 26/09/2011 08:00

Morning everyone!

Welcome QBee Grin It's easy to pick up the wrong thing, don't worry. I picked up some activia yogurts, and it wasn't until I was eating them I realised they weren't fat free... it'll make you look next time Smile.

Kid Ooooh, retail therapy, and what a lovely dh!

Ria I have moaned about my dh far too much, so I know what you mean.

Pixie forgot to say - welcome back you! And you needn't worry, I've sunk waaaaay back behind you again.

So, after a last drink of wine last night and a bit of holiday fudge I am officially back on the wagon again today. Quite pleased about it too. Apart from two birthdays coming up in November (mine, and ds's first!) it should be a clear run to Xmas. I have totally wiped out my countdown to Xmas so far Angry but there you are.

So, food for the day:

Black coffee
Weetabix and a nectarine
My old faithful - cheese triangles on toast, clementines and a yogurt
Quorn chilli and rice

I can feel my innards cheering Grin

Now, before I have bored you all senseless, I just need to ask a question - how does a toddler take her nappy off, but leave her vest on and done up??? My dd went to bed last night in a vest and nightie, and in a nappy.

I went to check on her before we went to bed, and thought it seemed odd that I could see bum cheeks, and a vest wedgie (she always takes the covers off). Then I noticed the vest looked odd and realised it was wet through. She'd somehow taken the nappy off! Little sausage had thrown it on the floor... managed to change her though without waking her, so that was something I suppose!

OP posts:
Sofabitch · 26/09/2011 08:05

Haha bee mine used to do that. At least it was only wee [boak] I've had worse. Today is looking good. Weigh in tonight. I'm having fruit and yoghurt for breakfast. Lunch is going to be a chicken salad. Dinner is going to be a chilli or jacket potato haven't decided yet.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 26/09/2011 10:17

Morning all!

Welcome Qbee. Sorry about the yoghurt, thats really annoying but I am sure you will have been fine. I am hoping to lose 10lbs by Xmas, which will make be a lovely round 10stone 10.

Hi friendly How are you getting on with it?

pixie DH couldn't help, he is on nights this week. What are you going to wear to the fancy dress party?

kid lets see the coat then. I have got my wintercoat. I also got a 14. Bless your DH.

bee back on plan today then? Me too. Your DD is also very clever, haha bless her. I agree with sofa it could have been worse.

sofa hope you had a good calroie burning sesh last night . frantically thinking back to our last time, nope. Can't remember Blush

We are having a quiet day. It is just me and DD as mum is at work. I cannot be bothered to do much, so we won't. Food:
B: fruit and ff nat yog
L: carrot and coriander soup and hobbit toast (HEB)
D: Beef stew and mash

ameRIAcansmooth · 26/09/2011 10:18

much study todaySad, then homework for tomorrow night to be done, and at some point I will hve to clean my house

Cheeseandbiscuits · 26/09/2011 10:27
