No need to be impressed as I cancelled the spin class. I've never been to that class before but will go eventually. But I figured with a sore throat and a headache just the one class would be enough. I really have to go to bed early tonight. I was falling asleep at work and my eyes are burning.
Still undecided about dinner but i think it'll be (extra lean mince) bolognese.
I have absolutely no idea about DoD tomorrow, not sure if that's a good thing or not. I've nit stuck to plan 100% but I've not been too naughty.

kid · 20/09/2011 17:19

Actually I've cancelled the other class too Sad
I'm not looking forward to cooking dinner, I just can't be bothered. Such a shame cooking is my job

kid · 20/09/2011 17:32

My evening has gone downhill as I've just ordered a takeaway Grin
I'm only having chicken chow mein so still within syns but it feels like I'm cheating. at least it means I don't have to cook which is perfect. I think I'll order shopping to be delivered tomorrow. I've got 2 of ds's friends coming round tomorrow and one of dd's. I must be mad!

grinningbee · 20/09/2011 17:47

Quick message as internet limited and battery going flat.

Holiday is bloody horrible, h being horrible, diet gone out of the window.

Hey ho.

Can't wait to get back to normal next week!

Catch you all at the end of the week guys,
Bee

OP posts:
kid · 20/09/2011 18:07

Try and have some bee, sorry to hear it's horrible so far.

kid · 20/09/2011 18:19

(Some 'fun')

whatkungfuthat · 20/09/2011 18:20

Thats awful bee hope things improve. kid hope you feel better soon, look after yourself.

Sofabitch · 20/09/2011 19:51

Oh no bee Sad where are you holidaying?

Kid I hope you enjoyed the chow mein

ameRIAcansmooth · 20/09/2011 23:39

did a big post at lunchtime and bloody MN went offlineShock

bee, hope it improves. kid, hope you improve (and enjoy your chow mein). Popped into sainsburys after college and bought butter chickenBlush. Just having wine as had to come home and submit OU stuff. The next couple of weeks will be fun trying to do new course and finish EMA!Hmm

I got my arm stuck down the hole where the outside stop tap is! (Where the water board come and lift a flap and stick a gadget down when they want to turn off the water - it is possible to do it by reaching. It's what my dad did when he needed to turn our water off the other week - the stop tap in the house is knackered and leaks if we even think of touching it - but DH apparently couldn't get his arm in/reach the tap. So I did it instead.) Not very dignified almost flat on the path with my bum sticking up! Rang dad in the endBlush!

Going out with DH tomorrow to see Calendar Girls. Very excited.

kid · 21/09/2011 07:25

Oh well, when you get the DoD results, bear in mind that I told the truth (even though the temptation to lie was soooooo strong! Grin)

Lets just say, I'm not drinking that amount of pimms again, I'm not eating any chocolate cake, let alone 3 slices! I might still treat myself to a takeaway as long as I've been good with syns all week.

I feel much better this morning. Probably because I fell asleep very early last night on the settee and still managed to sleep all night. I figure I must have needed it.

I'm thinking about going to the gym tonight just for a workout seeing as I skipped class last night and the fact I'm gutted with DoD results. Lets see if I can be bothered tonight?

I did buy a new shirt yesterday in a 14 and it fits lovely. Usually they are too tight to do up so I tend to buy the next size up. Glad I got a 14 though.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 21/09/2011 07:29

Morning all. It's the Day of Doom. So pm me your stats and I will publish the list!

ria hope you got your work done ok. Sorry about the arm thing, Smile

kid chow mein sounds lovely. I hope you are feeling better and went to bed at a half decent time.

Feeling a bit better again today. I am hoping to go for a bit of a walk later and work out the lungs! MIL still here and is looking after DD, she has been such a star and is so much nicer when FIL is not around

Food:
B: porridge and raspberries
L: jacket potato?
D: Moroccan lamb and cous cous

pixiestix · 21/09/2011 08:41

Bad Cheese! If they told you to wait four weeks until going back to the gym that that is what you should do Poor you though, what a miserable way to lose a few pounds Sad
The big move went well thanks - or as well as could be expected given that we were moving from somewhere we loved to somewhere we didn't want to be, from a lovely house to a really crap flat. But heigh-ho. We are mostly unpacked and settled in, and just have to get on with it now.

Sorry DoD was crap for you Kid. Chocolate cake and Pimms sounds lovely though! Glad you are feeling better this morning.

Well done for the biscuit avoidance Sofa.

Wocka it depends how much they cost - if it is more than a tenner, like Sofa says, then you should just go to a class and then never go back. If its less than a tenner then I reckon you could definitely get all the info you needed from us and the starter pack. HTH.

Poor Bee Sad It will be over soon.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 21/09/2011 09:47

I know, but i can feel my fitness draining away! I'm glad the move went ok, even if it's not what you really wanted. Have you got some mateys up here to console you?

I've had lots of PMs, will hopefully be a nice long list for later.

No appetite so avoiding breakfast for now.

SlinkyB · 21/09/2011 11:18

Oh bee so sorry to hear your holiday is rubbish! Sad Hope it/dh improves.

Sounds like you needed that sleep kid hope you're better today.

Have a friend coming for lunch today, but she's bringing low-fat soup so that's a bonus

Have a good day all.

mrswoodentop · 21/09/2011 11:46

Sorry been away for a bit,ds3 off school already with a cold and ds1 stressing re personal statement .

Going OK ,eating lots of fruit and veg ,have downloaded a fun app on my phone called munchbunch which logs your fruit and veg intake .Just finding the time to do all the cooking is difficult ,any ideas for snacks which are not fat free yog or fruit?

whatkungfuthat · 21/09/2011 14:29

Don't know if I imagined this but I thought when I joined SW that they made us sign a contract saying we would come to meetings. Not sure if they could/would try and make this stick but perhaps its to stop people just going and buying the book??

I've been looking at boots for fat legs, seen some that may be promising
here the outside zip can be worn up or down

kid · 21/09/2011 16:02

I have come to the conclusion that I must be mad!
After being at work all day, I've now got dd's friend here and i'm off to get ds and 2 of his friends from after school club. I'm then cooking for all of them and finally dropping all 3 home a couple of hours later!
Why did I ever agree to it? It is nice being the house where all the kids want to hang out though lol
I've also got to cook for me and dh. I suppose I should also do a little bit of ironing and some resting in between all that too. Looks like gym is out of the question for tonight (phew!)

Hedgepig · 21/09/2011 16:22

kungfu try Duo I have 2 pairs form there, although I must say I have lost weight from my calves so they are looking slightly baggy. Don't think my thundering calves would fit in normal boots though Grin

Mrswoodentop I tend to go for snack-a-jacks (the large one) as snack 2.5 syns for the caramel and bbq ones or just slices of ham.

whatkungfuthat · 21/09/2011 16:32

Thanks Hedge I have looked but the ones I like are really expensive and I'm looking for a new contract atm so I'm a bit skint. Perhaps I should drop hints to DP for xmas

kid · 21/09/2011 20:31

Well done everyone Smile

I've gone back to meal planning, even though today was a bit hit and miss as I was very late leaving for work this morning.
I am however meal planning everything for next DoD, I need to keep having losses and I hope this week is my only massive gain. I expect to have lost all of it by next Wednesday if not a little bit more. I'm hoping thats the case anyway!

Sofabitch · 21/09/2011 20:38

Twirls like an elephant. GrinGrin well done guys. I've had
Today.
B- a whole punet of grapes Blush
L- mushrooms tomatoes poached egg beans and a slice of wholemeal bread.
D- leek and potato soup followed by jacket potato and chilli beans
S- 4 plums and I have 2 alpen light bars with me if I get peckish on my night.

I've made a huge tub of frozen blackberries, cherries raspberries and grapes layered with total 0% Greek yoghurt for breakfast time. Mmmmmmmm. It looks scrummy. I've mixed the Greek yoghurt with sweetener to make it extra scrummy.

Hedgepig · 21/09/2011 20:53

Kungfu that's how I got mine, xmas pressie from DH

Well done everyone, after my brothers wedding on Friday I am totally refocus on the diet, I have 1 stone(ish) to go and I will be there by Christmas.

ameRIAcansmooth · 21/09/2011 21:06

hi guys. well done everyone on the listSmile

sorry to have missed it. I have STS, loss to date 2lbBlush

ameRIAcansmooth · 21/09/2011 21:19

I have had a lovely day though. DH and my dad fixed the leak this morning (though it took longer than hoped so we didn't get to the swanky Italian for lunchSad)

... but, I finally got to wear my lovely shoes I bought in a charity shop last year (they are a bit 1920's and even though I hardly wear anything but crocs and boots, I loved them and had to have them), and my new skirt/jumper combo I bought the other week similar shop hoping I didn't look erm, older than I am. Had a sneaky unhealthy lunch, which was nice, but not plan a or plan b. Play was fabSmile. Didn't ROFL as much as I expected after what I'd heard, but it was good. And DH cried his way through his tissue and was wiping his eyes on his jumper ('ard as nails I amWink). Think we may have been caught up in the middle of a mass WI outing though!

But, it's pants coming back down to reality after a nice timeSad. Am waiting for DS1 to finish watching Jonathan Creek and go to bed so I can watch Midsomer Murders with DH and my cool cheeky south african (perfect end to perfect day).

Have had a knock to my current "up" state though. College rang while I have been out and apparently my fee reduction is a problem because the benefit entitlement is in DHs name, not mine, and they need something in my name. I have never come across this before, usually it is enough that I am a "dependant"Confused Will try and sort it out tomorrow...

sorry for long postBlush
