Good results everyone, only one maintain (I wouldn't mind maintaining if that was my weight!) and no gains, show offs lol

I'll test the fajitas out and then report back. No point in all of us cooking them if they up gross Grin I'm particularly keen on the 'express' factor as I have gym class tomorrow aka the torture session.

grinningbee · 14/09/2011 22:14

Hee hee. I remember making some bean burgers once. They were so dry and rough they took the skin off the roof of your mouth when you chewed them... not good!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 14/09/2011 22:22

Well done everyone! Those losses are brilliant. I'm home, absolutely wiped out but it's brilliant being home with dh and my baby. They warned me it's going to take at least 6 weeks to feel as right as rain and prob 3-4 weeks till I will be up at the gym. Sad. But at least I am on the road to recovery!!

Sofabitch · 14/09/2011 22:22

Omg you are all so light. Sad

grinningbee · 14/09/2011 22:34

Cheese welcome back! Do take it steady, please. I do hope you'll have someone there to help with dd if dh can't be, and wait on you hand and foot for a bit. I bet you missed dd rotten.

Sofa If it makes you feel better, when I started SW in 2007 (before getting pg and stopping again) I weighed 17st 9.5lb. It's taken a couple more attempts (and two babies in between) but now 4 years later, I'm 1lb away from being 5 stone lighter than I was back then, and I am a damn sight happier for it. Don't be put off by numbers - half a stone at a time is the way to go.

grinningbee · 14/09/2011 22:35

Tell you what, if I can find it on the pc, for shits and giggles I'll put a photo up (for a short while) of me at my biggest. It was a new year fancy dress do too...

LittlePushka · 14/09/2011 22:40

Welcome home Cheese, nice to have you back - we were getting sick with worry for you,..oh and the visiting time hand gel routine was playing havoc with my knuckles - dry as a bone they are now.

Sofa, do not worry about the light thing,...this lot have been here for at least six years Wink. Well done for great results!!!

I am sniggering at grinning bee wanting to bounce but too lumpen to move - thanks for the list. I have made me own half stone sticker (placed it firmly over my mouth just in case any late night snacks get in)

WELL DONE RIA!!! You're back in the game!!

LittlePushka · 14/09/2011 22:41

Kid, forgot to ask (and anyone else with hacky kids)...do your DC get a clean jumper on every day ...and is it considered poor form to revive a dirty one with baby wipes to about passable?

grinningbee · 14/09/2011 23:00

Sorry Little I didn't mean to forget your sticker

Found a worse photo. In fact, it's really dreadful, but I don't care. Taken late January 2007... in Jamaica . It was our delayed honeymoon. Will bung it on profile now, and then persuade dh to take one tomorrow so you can play spot the difference.

mrswoodentop · 14/09/2011 23:03

Sorry I haven't been back this evening I got stuck at a school function ,I am still at start weight then and will post tomorrow's weight for next week .
Well done to everyone who has lost

grinningbee · 14/09/2011 23:06

Ok, for a short time only - my worst photo is now on my profile. I look like a weeble. The background scenery is nice though!

LittlePushka · 14/09/2011 23:17

( Not meant as a criticism dear bee - please stop self harming,...!!)

Am off to bed to get up close and personal with my memory foam pillow. Not like me to go to bed on the same day as the one in which I woke up,...but I an whacked and cannot stay awake.

Night night team.

whatkungfuthat · 15/09/2011 07:43

Morning all, well done on the losses Grin

pushka I am of the revive a jumper with wipes school but I am a slut pratical. I am veh excited today as its the last Torchwood so may have a teeny glass of wine later

Food
Hobbit toast and banana
Soup leftover from last night
Chicken breast cooked with peppers, mushroom and onions in a squirt of sweet chilli sauce, butternut squash roasted with spray oil

mrswoodentop · 15/09/2011 08:06

Right first official weigh in this morning.I always seem to make a slow start but just hope I have lost something.Hmm
Was a bit flummoxed this week at my book group because the host had made Thai curry rather than nibbles, she is doing Rosemary Conley though so I think it was pretty low fat

kid · 15/09/2011 08:21

Had a quick read of thread but there are too many posts to read properly as I'm multi tasking right now (mning whilst walking down the street on my way to work!)
I forgot my little shopping list of things I need for dinner. If I'd posted the recipe last night, I'd know what to buy, oh well.

As for school jumpers, dc tend to have 2 jumpers for the week and I use babywipes to clean them up if needed Grin

Better go now, busy road ahead!

Sofabitch · 15/09/2011 08:31

Grin well that's made me feel better. Mine have 3 school jumpers. But they still usually look like I've dragged them threw mud and toothpaste to get them to school Grin. I had a good day yesterday. Although more green than EE so I'm going to do green again today. I'm making shepherds pie with quorn for tea tonight with loads of veggies. I'm going to have fruit an yoghurt for breakfast and save my 2 alpen lights for biscuit time at toddlers this morning. Lunch is going to be egg salad. With free wedges nom nom. I'm going to try and do some body magic today and weed the front garden as it's currently shameful lol.

ameRIAcansmooth · 15/09/2011 09:15

thanks pushka. Now to stay in the gameWink

Would like a good loss this week as I am going to the theatre next on next weeks DoD and plan to dress up a bit, so being a tiny bit lighter will make me feel even better.

sofabitch - I can't beat you with the numbers, hence mine not being in print!

oh bugger, Torchwood... much wine called for then (and a vomit bag if they're going to carry on doing mean things to Jack). I am not a fan as such, but DH watches and sometimes I enjoy it, but I haven't liked this series.

Had a huge confidence boost this morning and I feel like I'm glyingGrin. Love it.

cheese, so glad you are home and much better. Hope you are fully recovered soon.

mrswoodentop · 15/09/2011 09:49

2.5 off .really pleased ,usually pretty slow to start so that's good for me.A couple of people have lost half a stone in a week thoughEnvy

Sofabitch · 15/09/2011 10:11

Well done.

GandTiceandaslice · 15/09/2011 11:03

Thanks kid will boil up some eggs & have a hard boiled egg woth breakfast as well.

I have some butternut squash roasting in the oven ready to mix with some couscous & chickpeas for lunch.

Think will make bubble & squeak for dinner as I have lots of cabbage & potatoes.

I quite forgot how much cooking there was with SW! And my fridges are full. Note the plural!. Activia pots are on offer inMorrisons so have stocked up & have enough veg & fruit to fight off scurvy for 20 years! Wink

grinningbee just look at that pic & remember you'll never be that size again!

I can't understand how people lose so much weight in a week. I'll prob l;ose 2-3 this Mon as have just started but then it tails off to 1lb per week. 1 girl on my FB has lost 7lbs in a week. {jealous}

whatkungfuthat · 15/09/2011 12:06

G&T I'm certain my loss this week was down to retaining fluid before as I only lost a lb a week up till then. I love bubble and squeak.

Ria its the last TW tonight and I need to find out what is behind it all, but this series has made me cross. What was the boost or aren't you telling? Wink

Well done MrsW

Cheese hope you are feeling better today

Bee you have done amazingly well Envy

ameRIAcansmooth · 15/09/2011 13:56

it is (IMO) a bit sensationalist and has lost the plot this time (TW), though it started going downhill with that week-long one about the 4,5,6 (or whoever). The only plus for me is how ballsy Gwen is now, compared to how she was when it started.

DH has got his first sale order for his wooden bunting, which is goodSmile, especially as he came home from the GP with a six week sick note.

my boost - the class teacher of "my" lunchtime class cornered me this morning and has asked me to go on a trip to the theatre with her class next month. I've been doing this job on and off for 10-ish years, and I've never been asked to do anything like that before. I really felt like an important part of the team, 'til I went in to work and lunchtime and was slapped down to reality by one of the TAsSad only one more day to go.

ameRIAcansmooth · 15/09/2011 13:57

my porky little DS3 (who is as skinny as) had a battle with me today that he wanted a school dinner. I gave in and put his packed lunch in the fridge... he has come home and got it out when he was getting his drink, and has eaten the lot!

grinningbee · 15/09/2011 14:51

Howdy do everyone

Well done Mrs woodentop good loss.

I dropped dh off to a job this morning for 8am, then went on into Nottingham. Had a lovely 3 hour mooch, interspersed with 2 minor tantrums and one big one from dd. Other than that it was lovely wandering in the sunshine.

I may have been a bit naughty and bought myself that black and white tunic/dress and some leggings... hee hee. I say dress - the blurb on their website says it sits above the knee. Um, it comes a couple of inches below mine Grin

Yes, 'that' photo should be copied and stuck on the inside of my fridge I think. It was a bloody good holiday, but my goodness, what did I look like?!?

Food for the day:

Weetabix and a banana
Cheese triangles on toast, clementines and a yogurt
Shepherd's Lentil Pie
