Well, it was the wittiest name I could come up with. For those returning after lovely holidays Smile

I used to love munching sweet chilli crisps... especially when accompanied by a nice bottle of red. Bad me!

That sounds lovely Kid. Love mashed swede. I've also used butternut squash instead of potato when making a meaty cottage pie.

Mind you, now I've read the word pastry, I really fancy a nice slab, just like my granny used to make

OP posts:
grinningbee · 09/09/2011 17:04

Bum, I meant to add the word slice after the word slab.

I had a really tasty buttnernut squash pasta thing the other day, it was really nice.
I am also eating quite a bit of feta cheese too (in small amounts) which is tasty. Today I had prawn and feta cheese salad, it was delicious and didn't require any cooking Smile

For anyone who is interested:

Cooked prawns
chopped cucumber
chopped spring onions
42g feta cheese (I only used 28g)
Rocket leaves

Just chop all the ingredients and bung it in a dish together and hey presto!

Sofabitch · 09/09/2011 17:52

Hey. I hope everyone had a good day. I'm just checking in on my phone so I'll catch up properly later. I was uber good today I spent half and hour in a bakery AngryAngry watching people eat but I only had a diet coke. And then I went and scoffed a whole punnet of strawberries to make myself feel better lol. I'm currently cooking rogan Josh. And it smells yummy.

WhatsWrongWithYou · 09/09/2011 20:13

Hedgepig, I'm aiming to lose about the same as you. I gained 2st about five years ago, lost a stone about two years later, and seem to have been losing and re-gaining the same few pounds ever since.

Do you have a time frame in mind? I'm sort of hoping for half term as then I'll feel like it's the right time of year for new autumn clothes - although, naturally, they'll no doubt be sold out by then.

Think I probably need to take a deep breath and go to a club meeting - I'm quite rubbish at remembering the fifty million different rules for the different SW styles.

ledkr · 09/09/2011 21:19

Dont you all talk a lot?Must be better than eating Grin
chees tghanks for the welcome and the recipe-its in the oven as we speai make raitja with fat free yogurt and mint sauce to go with curry its lush. My baby is just 7 months and i was smug when she was sleeping 7-7 at about 6 weeks but then the dreaded 4 months regression hit and she's a bit hit and miss now,no teeth as yet but she's on her 2nd cold which causes more probs.

Hedgepig · 09/09/2011 22:09

top girl Sofabitch I have had 2 3 wines and a take away la la la, it's Friday night hurrah
WWWY I want to have lost it by Christmas but as it's my last stone I think the end of Oct would be a bit optimistic.
I'm starting to have lots of people (who are much slimmer than I am) telling me not to loose any more weight! 'tis most odd, I've stopped saying I want to loose a stone more I'll just keep doing and keep that to myself Confused

SlinkyB · 09/09/2011 22:19

You're all a bunch of raging alcoholics tonight! Grin I'm busy polishing my halo as have only had a can of Pepsi Max. Friends around for dinner tomorrow night so will prob have glass or two of wine then.

Been lurking a bit as no time to post. Made the SW jalfrezi tonight and it was really nice; thumbs up from dp and my Mum. Seems Fri night is curry night for most of us on here.

My baby's 7 months old and grumpy with a cold at the moment too. Never can tell if it's just teething or something more sinister.

Just noticed bee hasn't been on here since tea-time...wonder if she's wearing her new boots?! Wink

Cheeseandbiscuits · 09/09/2011 22:23

Hahhaa lucky bee. Kinky! Wink

Have only had one gin and slim. AM waiting for DH to get here, got 40min or so. Might have another! Will post recipe on t'other thread in a min.

Sorry about all the cold babies - keep yer germs to yourselves as we are finally germ free!
hedge you can do a stone by Oct if you stick to it. Am so impressed and massively jealous

Sofabitch · 09/09/2011 22:24

Oooo I'd love the recipe for morrocan lamb

grinningbee · 09/09/2011 22:27

Oi! I heard that Wink. I'll have you know I am sitting here being subjected to Big Brother Hmm while drinking my sugar free squash.

I did show dh the boots earlier... and he got a very wicked glint in his eye! The boots are currently hidden in the top of my wardrobe. Shhhh, don't tell on me! Grin

On the baby front, ds (9 months) is teething like a loon bless him. I think I saw a new one peeping out earlier, but he just won't let me look. Thank goodness for teething powder.

OP posts:
grinningbee · 10/09/2011 03:28

Well, that lasted a long time! Ds has decided to get up, so rather than wake everyone else I am up with him so he can beetle around. Been up an hour so far Angry.

Hopefully going out today to have a long walk around Nottingham. Some fresh air will be good.

ameRIAcansmooth · 10/09/2011 05:16

hi all, what a chatty night I missed (which is just as well as we ate at a friends and her wine glasses are quite large!). Lovely yummy food, totally off plan, but I did help muck out a couple of stables first. The boys love it there.

I woke up at 4am again. Could set my watch by it. Will try to fit in an evening walk I think, to see if I can improve my sleep pattern.

day out today as it is Heritage Open Day weekend here, so I must be able to find something local that's free! It is also "discover your local forest day" (or something) on Sunday here, so lots to do if we can bothered. and if the boys aren't too tired.

have done something to my shoulder tooSad (not that we need another poorly shoulder in our house). Am smothered in deep heat and feeling quite sorry for myself.

have a good weekend.Smile

ledkr · 10/09/2011 08:01

grinningbee did he go back off? You sounded very together, when dd was awake most of wed night i was on here ranting away.
She did well last night we came down at 7 and i was quite happy with my tea and early morning tv till a huge bastard spider ran ou and went under the sofa, somehow i just cant relax now so i guess thats a good insentive to be active today!
I always fancy biscuits when im up early!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 10/09/2011 08:01

Sorry to all those having sleepless nights.

I am going back to London today. I have loved having family around to help out this week so am pretty fed up about the thought of returning.

Food looks like:
B: Porridge (HEB) and fruit
L: omelette and salad
D: steak, SW chips and veggies.

Weather looks bloody awful for the rest of the weekend. I am going to shred today and zumba tomorrow!

ledkr · 10/09/2011 08:23

mmmm steak,i might do that, getting a bit bored of sloppy type food.
Any pepper sauce recipes?
