have added you clpsmum :) Good luck

RGPargy · 11/01/2012 22:56

Well done Bex!!! I am always in awe of people who go running - I find it really uncomfortable! Grin

ditavonteesed · 12/01/2012 08:13

bex that is amazing, 2 minutes is a real improvement. I did running a couple ofyears ago (when I was slim) but I never really enjoyed it.

ditavonteesed · 12/01/2012 08:15

have added you clpsmum, good luck.x

LingDiLong · 12/01/2012 12:34

Can I join you all please! Started MFP on the 4th of Jan and have lost 2lb so far. I'm not low carbing or doing anything special other than keeping within the MFP daily targets. I'm also running and doing the 30 Day shred DVD. I'm not sure how much I have to lose really, I'm a size 14 and would like to at least be a 12.

jchocchip · 12/01/2012 14:48

My 30 day shred has come already (free postage deal could have taken forever) Looking forward to doing it later after I've taken the bike out for a spin... Need to earn some cals for my weekly trip to the pub tonight :)

Hi Lingdilong and welcome.

mrswoodentop · 12/01/2012 16:38

Just walked dog for an hour and the naughty thing went and rolled in something revolting, had to bath him as well ,must have used plenty of calories doing that.Dh away tonight so hoping for a quiet evening tormenting myself watching the great british bakeoff Grin
Went a bit AWOL at book group yesterday but have managed not too badly today.

jchocchip · 12/01/2012 17:57

first shred done. Not easy but enjoyed it. Still not got the lighter weights so did have to put the weights down for a little while. Jumping jacks are pretty impossible, I don't seem to leave the ground...

Run day tomorrow and I'm going for a long walk with dh too so should be on track this week...

jchocchip · 12/01/2012 17:59

What is your username lingdilong? add me if you like my mfp is the same as on here.

bexsybooboo · 13/01/2012 06:48

One is not amused Sad

1ib off this week now I know a 1ib is a quite a lot when you look at it, but why is it when you feel you've had a great week you lose minimal but when you think ummmm don't really want to stand on scales you lose more Hmm doesn't make sense.

Will take my pound and be pleased as a loss is great and slow and steady wins the race means more likely to maintain loss [happy] but am allowed to feel a little Hmm

Welcome to all and hope everyone doing well Sad

bexsybooboo · 13/01/2012 06:49

Sorry was supposed to be welcome to all and hope everyone doing well with a nice big Smile not Sad, it's too early lol

QueenStromba · 13/01/2012 09:33

0.75 pounds off this week which is good considering I've had a couple of really hungry days. I'm aiming for slower weight loss now since I noticed I was getting some lose skin on my boobs and tummy. Putting the brakes on a bit and slathering myself in Palmer's firming butter seems to be helping that though.

BadBuddha · 13/01/2012 13:19

Hi everyone
Can I join you please? I joined MFP last night, but have had a dire day so far, so not going to start logging until tomorrow Blush
I'm 5'2" and weigh 10.7 - a good stone over my fighting weight, so am hoping that a combination of MFP and joining this thread will be the spur I need to sort it out!!
Running used to be my thing, but not been out once since the clocks went back in October, so I've got the 30 day shred DVD, and am thinking of getting the newest Davina (anyone here got it / rate it?)
Anyway, good luck everyone, am looking forward to getting to know you a bit better!

BadBuddha · 13/01/2012 13:51

Should have added - I'm BadBuddha on MPF too, but have no idea how to 'friend' people on there yet...

QueenStromba · 13/01/2012 15:42

Welcome to the thread BadBuddha :)

BadBuddha · 13/01/2012 20:30

Thanks QueenStromba - I've accepted your friend invite...my first - yey!

magicalrealistmum · 14/01/2012 08:05

Hi all,

Hope you are having a good start to the New Year. I have been on mfp since August, losing weight slowly. After a good Christmas I seem to have lost my mojo so I need your help to get motivated again.

Hi to all the newbies, this is a great thread and mfp has been an education-feel free to add me I am DizziD on mfp.

I am cycling to work five days a week (15mins down the hill, 30mins up the hill on the way home) and I have started C25K (week 4 run 3 today), but seem to have lost determination (and regained fondness for lots of white bread Hmm)

I will wrap up now and go for my run and pick up the saturday paper.

Have a great weekend all
x

bexsybooboo · 14/01/2012 12:39

Well today was going well, knew I had to do housework which is always a good workout/burn then am going to do sprinting out back to build my stamina.

But DH came home from work and asked for me to cook the greggs sausage rolls for lunch. Damn those sausage rolls so had 2 Confused as they are blimmin lovely Blush

And small confession if that wasn't bad enough am having southern fried chicken for tea Blush, thinking may be well over my allowance today. Reckon I take today instead of tomorrow as my treat day Smile

Fenouille · 15/01/2012 10:12

Bexsy, yesterday has become my treat day too after pigging out after dinner Blush

That said, yesterday was pretty good as I finally got back into my pre-pregnancy jeans. I have to be honest though, they are significantly tighter than they used to be but I feel like I'm making progress at last.

I also saw the consultant about my knees last week. He confirmed it's tendonitis and put me back on anti-histamine cream, although he also gave me the green light to start cycling again. I just need to make sure I don't have any more accidents...

I'm away on business next week but the week after I'm going to cycle in a couple of days a week (not going to overdo it to start with). I've also agreed with my friend that we'll go for a walk a couple of lunchtimes a week to get us moving a bit. I won't be able to power wwalk but I'm hoping just the fact of moving for an hour will help get my metabolism going a bit. If I actually manage to get off the tram a couple of stops early on the remaining days then I should start feeling better.

RGPargy · 15/01/2012 11:43

Hi everyone Grin

Just checking in and saying hello. Welcome to the newbies! Feel free to add me in mfp - same user name as here.

Will check what you've all been up to later Smile

mrswoodentop · 15/01/2012 19:34

Hi back again, had a bit of a mixed weekend but nothing disastrous haven't felt too good though so the exercise has suffered, will get back onto it again tomorrow.
Newbies, please add me on MFP same name as here

bexsybooboo · 15/01/2012 19:49

Oh my word am hanging my head in shame.

I have had the worst weekend in 160 days Sad

No self control at all. Usually I have my 1 treat day but since Friday to tonight don't know what's wrong with me Confused

In total I have had 1900 lots over my 3 day allowance Blush with very little exercise Blush

Right everyone give me some serious arse kicking talking to so I get out and about exercising this week and eating well Wink

QueenStromba · 15/01/2012 20:29

Look on the bright side Bexsy - you've probably not gone over your maintenance calories so you shouldn't gain anything. Also, it's good to eat a bit more every now and again.

bexsybooboo · 15/01/2012 21:11

Agh thanx QueenStromba When I break it down it works out at about going over by 633 each day which still puts me under recommended allowance for women Smile, do you like the negative in to a positive Smile

Well aiming for maintaining this week and fitness side Smile who am i kidding always aiming for a loss

Running tomorrow so going to do my 3miles and a little extra even if the end is power walking for a mile Wink

Good luck everyone.

jchocchip · 16/01/2012 08:31
