ohijust-Hope you feel better soon too! Smile
Have lots of hot Brew and rest, sounds like we both need to take it easy until we are better

piellabakewell · 14/11/2011 23:55

Hi all

Has anyone set up a Mumsnet group using the new group feature? If not, shall we?

Wordsonapage · 15/11/2011 06:57

Size 14 ! and they easily fit too !
Squee!!!!!!!

I even have a victory parade.....

ohijustdontknowanymore · 15/11/2011 07:35

Wordsonapage - You go girl. Well done

piellabakewell - What's the new feature?

magicalrealistmum - Thought I would enjoy resting, but just keep thinking if I was exercising would be losing more weight. But going to rest so I can get bakc out there with no setbacks. Make sure you rest up to and sending you a treat (biscuit) only 60 calories lol

piellabakewell · 16/11/2011 09:08

There's a group thing so you can have group discussions in your own area...visible to others too I assume, but it means if one of us posted a message on there it would be a bit like posting on this thread. Not that anything could ever replace mumsnet, of course Wink.

piellabakewell · 16/11/2011 09:27

Right, have taken the plunge and set up a Mumsnet group on MFP. I added lots of you to the invite list but I know I will have missed many...please don't take it personally, it was just taking me ages switching backwards and forwards between MN and MFP looking for usernames!

On MFP, go to Community>Groups and search group name Mumsnet. Didn't know what to use as a pic so chose a random, headless bikini shot off the internet but I REALLY wanted to use this one Grin.

I'm snailrunner on there, if you're struggling to make the link between the two!

Wordsonapage · 16/11/2011 09:41

Have joined

Wordsonapage · 16/11/2011 09:43

I'm aiming for the first photo..hopefully not the second !!!

northernlassthree · 16/11/2011 11:42

Hi would love to join in if ok. Have never done this sort thing before but feeling the need for a new approach to weightless. Am watty76 on mfp. Only been using it a couple of weeks but finding it pretty user friendly so currently optimisticSmile. What do I do to get on the mfp gp?

piellabakewell · 16/11/2011 11:46

Hi northernlass...have sent you a friend request and a group invitation.

I've been on MFP since September, don't have much to lose so it's been a slow process but find MFP invaluable. Hope it works for you too.

brodyboo · 16/11/2011 23:04

Hi am back, computer been poorly so not been on here or mfp but still have lost 3 pounds since starting so approx a pound a week.

Back on mfp tomorrow so hopefully can improve on that, got a new job too, lots of hours and rushing about (and early starts so no more cheeky vinos on a night Sad)

RGPargy · 16/11/2011 23:10

waves :o

ohijustdontknowanymore · 18/11/2011 07:05

Well it's Friday WI for me, comes round so quick sometimes Hmm

Anyhows no exercise for 2 weeks, feeling rough with Bronchitis so didn't expect anything especially as last 2-3 weeks the weight is going but sowly 1ib per week.

Well not sure how but I have lost 4ibs today Grin

Am so relieved. Am also happy and a little excited as reckon I can go out running on Sunday and I cant wait Grin

Good luck to everyone

QueenStromba · 18/11/2011 11:37

3.5 pounds off for me which pushes me under the 13 stone mark and brings me to a total of exactly 2 stone in 9 weeks :) I've just got 6 pounds to go before I hit the halfway point - I'm hoping this will happen in three weeks to coincide with my posh do. After that my next mini goal will be 5 more pounds to get me out of the obese category.

Wordsonapage · 20/11/2011 13:10

2 stone in nine weeks !!!
Fab going!

ohijustdontknowanymore · 21/11/2011 06:55

Wow QueenStromba that's amazing :)

I am now in the 13's stone mark and hoping to get to 13 stone or under before christmas but that would be 10ib to lose and not sure have enough time to do it Hmm.

My weight loss varies week to week from staying the same, losing 1-2ib to losing up to 4ib at a time.

Hopefully now that i'm back running will definately have a 2ib stead loss every week :)

But bloody well done that is a great loss.

Wordsonapage · 21/11/2011 10:58

I've just bought new scales...

They calculate bmi fat and water percentage

Eek I dread to think what my fat percentage was before I lost a stone and tamped up the exercise as it's still scarily WAY too high.

RGPargy · 24/11/2011 21:50

Just bookmarking ladies :)

ohijustdontknowanymore · 25/11/2011 07:21

Friday WI for me.

Agh well I stayed the same, which i'm not too emotional about. Lost 4ibs last week so was only expecting a 1ib loss for this.

Have had a weird week food wise haven't been as controlled like previous weeks so staying the same is okay this time.

Am happy that I am back out to finish my couch to 5k also now feeling better.

So plan for next is to be more aware of what i'm eating e.g. no more living of coffee during a stressful day at work.

Good luck to all for another week Smile

QueenStromba · 25/11/2011 14:07

I've lost 0.25lb this week it was 1.5lb yesterday but went out for a meal last night and have been pretty bloated since. I think I probably have a wheat intolerance :(

ohijustdontknowanymore · 27/11/2011 15:32

Housework yesterday = calories burned
Wk5 run 2 couch to 5k today = calories burned

Ensuring I eat 3 times per day and drink water = hopefully ibs lost Wink

I am staying focused this week, I will lose weight Grin

A bit of a boost yesterday trousers I have never worn as too small now a little too big not much but a little and down 1-2 dress sizes Grin

Good luck all Smile

Wordsonapage · 27/11/2011 15:55

Bit of a weird weekend, twisted my back mid week and have been in pain since so no exercise which is really pissing me off.

Got very drunk and scarfed a large pizza..On Friday night Was so disappointed in myself.

Have skipped dinner this evening and am in bed planning a very early night... It's nearly eight pm here so not as weird as it sounds

ohijust.. Fab feeling the fitting into clothes stuff .. Well done !

ohijustdontknowanymore · 27/11/2011 19:40

Wordson take it steady, don't rush back in to the exercise and risk further injury, but really do sympathise with the no exercise as I couldn't do any for just over 2 weeks because of bronchitis. It can be really frustrating and depressing. Get well soon.

Am hoping to be on course to lose at least another 4/5 ibs before the 16th as have works xmas party Grin Wink

RGPargy · 27/11/2011 22:47

Hi all :)

Am planning to get back on track from tomorrow as i really do need to lose a lot more weight!

I went to a fitness day yesterday and i really felt it physically. I did 6 classes in total, albeit some of them not complete classes, but i really felt it. Not sure if it had anything to do with my tight chesty cold or whether my weight was hindering me. I wasn't feeling the step love at all tho, which didn't help as the stage was low so couldn't see the presenters' feet very well and ended up doing not very much other than a step tap during a couple of classes. Hmm

My new goal is to lose 2 stone by March as that's when the next Camber is on. Wish me luck!! Hmm :D

RGPargy · 27/11/2011 22:47

Words - hope your back gets better soon. Deffo take it easy and dont over-do it when you do get back into the exercise routine. :)
