Support for those doing MFP, if you are new post your MFP user name so we can befriend you there, and introduce yourself!

Some of us doing low or moderate carbs alongside MFP.

We were doing Monday weigh-ins but thats very flexible!

I lost another half kg, hooray. Determined to be under 60 soon and I'm 200g away right now.

I've set myself a target of 1000 calories of exercise today!

I weighed myself this morning and despite having 1300 calories and exercising I seem to have put on two pounds overnight....
I can't bring myself to officially log it in though..it's shurely shome mishtake

Will stick with it though...

I'm home alone and logging in here instead of heading to the fridge - this is my danger time! Trying to draw strength from everyone here instead of just caving in as per usual.

I need to find something to satisfy my serious chocolate craving. Last night I had a dessert of avocado mixed with cocoa powder and a bit of honey to simulate a chocolate pudding but it just wasn't the same!

weighed again this morning and have lost .8 of a kg from yesterday..lord knows what's going on so nearly back to the 8 lb original weightloss ..I'm confusing myself as my scales are in kg s and I have to convert to stones to make sense of it in my head Blush

So after a week off exercise due to heavy cold virus that went down on to my chest, I was brave and tried out Wii fit today to check I am getting better and can do some exercise.

It went well managed to complete Wii steps incl advanced steps, advanced rhythm boxing, free run and super hula hoop and this was following a gardening/weeding session.

So back to exercise programme tomorrow starting with my couch to 5k wk3 r1 and am looking forward to it.

Food wise doing okay and under calories majority of time apart from my treat night.

It is lovely feeling noticing other benefits of healthy eating/exercise routines, finally getting trousers that have been sat in my wardrobe for over a year that when I put on wouldn't even meet to do up and now whoop they do up.

Thank you MFP for being easy to follow, free and enjoyable.

Evening!! Wow you lot have been busy chatting on here this weekend!

Fitness weekender all done and dusted til March now. Was so much fun - did loads of exercise classes and loads of drinking too Blush So now i am shattered and am going to bed to rest my weary feet and get some much needed Seagull squawk-free sleep!!

I've just started on myfitnesspal. Can I join in? Not doing very well so far, 3 days in and have gone over calorie limit every day Blush despite going to the gym every day.

have done 55 min of treadmill/ weights ... I was in the gym for an hour but I chat to my friend so penalise myself by 5 min off.

Off for a shower then am going to trawl Dubai Mall .... A few circuits of that must count as extra walking surely?

Incidentally I was sooooo good yesterday though but went to weigh in this morning and the sodding scales are broked! Yes BROKED not broken proper BROKED!!!! No weigh in until new scales are purchased

Still keeping to it.. I seem to lose loads very quickly then put back half then stay the same for ages and lose another lot. So far in three weeks ( with loadsnof exercise and no cheating) I've lost 6 lb.. It WAS 8 lb but I'm in the staying the same phase.

Its nice to get a well done though on MFP I have to rest the urge to do a USA style you go girl whoop whoop Blush

We get a little support on there in the same vein as a fb update - so you sometimes get a go girl/well done message which is sooooo nice. I don't always use the forum for everything but only because i would have forgotten what I had written where!

1st time on this thread, but wanted to share that myfitnesspal.com has really worked for me. Have been on 1600 cals a day for 8 weeks and have lost 1.8 kilos. Started at 85 kilos (Blush for some reason I thought I was 80kg) and am now at 72kg. I go to gym twice a week and have almost completely cut bread and cheese out of my diet. Am also on skimmed milk only.

I feel sooo much better! My size 14 stuff (some of which didn't fit at all had been feeling quite tight for a while) is starting to feel quite loose now. When I get down to 70kg I'm going to try a pair of size 12 jeans for the first time in more than 10 years.

I find the whole phone app thing so convenient and easy to use.

Friday WI for me:

Well have lost 1ib which is good considering I have been a proper lazy ase this week minimal exercise.

Also havent eaten well, have been under my allowance but to point of possibly starvation mode for 2 days due to 3 stressful days in work. For 3 days no breakfast, minimal lunch e.g. banana and a satsuma and then small dinner.

Am on leave after today so going to try and use the time well and get out to exercise during the day time rather than when it is dark and not welcoming out.

Oooooouf.... Out last night for a friends birthday got Spectacularly drunk( and chatted up by a 24 year old ..heh heh ) so well over on calories but have put it in the AP and will have a swim today ( to try to get rid of heinous hangover if nothing else !)

Pluses though

Have lost .6 kg due to dehydration I reckon.
Weightless now half a stone and everyone noticed..yay!

fab news everyone! I have stayed same this week but am so close to target I'm still happy. Havent done much exercise this week as have been ferry DSS to work experience every day so no chance to go to gym on way home from work.

Best bit is, I was on a business trip last week to Canada and bought some size 10 jeans which fit like a dream, and because of North American sizing they actually say size 6!!! Grin
