It's 193lb - arrrghh! Shit.

Yeah I'm not very humble in RL!

KittyChat · 13/10/2011 00:08

oh I've added you, TSC. I didn't realise that my food diary was open to all ... oh the shame. Still, might motivate me to eat better and not drink so much in the evenings.

Hi to all the new comers and second comers.
Feel free to add me I'm kiwifebes on MFP.
I haven't weighed in this week because I got my period. I've been doing loads of exercise. I'm up to week 8 on C25K so 28 min runs. I ran 4.2ks last night so on target I reckon. Did 4 circuits of No MOre Trouble Zones by Jillian Michaels this morning as I was short on time. Might go for a cycle tonight when DH gets home. Food has been alright except I ate a few handfuls of dark choc buttons yesterday -damn hormones!!

ladydeedy · 13/10/2011 02:55

hello and welcome to newbies! feel free to add me on mfp - I am ladyduddy. Good luck all - the worst thing about this time of year is trying to stay on track when the weather gets bad. exercising can feel like a chore too when all you want to do is go home, snuggle up in jimjams in front of telly and do nothing! (other than drink wine and eat crisps!!).
Be strong!!

RGPargy · 13/10/2011 10:38

Hi everyone! Newbies, feel free to add me. Same user name on MFP as here. :)

I have been absolutely bloody awful this last month. I have barely logged my food and if i do, i usually stop around midday coz after that is when i'm bad, although i am sitting here stuffing pick n' mix as i type. I am wondering if my motivation has gone out of the window since having the contraceptive injection or whether i am trying to use that as an excuse?!? However, i am great at getting exercise in. I go to the gym on Mon, Tues, Weds, Sat and Sun. I wont be gyming today as i dont normally go on a thurs and fri due to working and getting home late, although I do have the day off work today and tomorrow tho because i'm off on a fitness weekender tomorrow and have lots of prepping to do today - shopping, banana bread making (sugar free, i hasten to add!), ironing, washing etc. Erk!! So much to do and here i am stuffing sweets and playing with my virtual farm!! What a saddo i am!! Blush

Haven't seen forever on here lately. where's she been hiding?

QueenStromba · 13/10/2011 10:50

Woohoo! My DP has just noticed that I've lost weight :)

AuntieDoris · 13/10/2011 10:50

Hello everyone. I have been on MFP for a while and had lost 1 1/2 stone before going on holiday to Hong Kong. I will be back next week and straight back into my health eating! My MFP name is AnnaDoris if you fancy 'friending' me and helping keep me accountable!

QueenStromba · 13/10/2011 10:53

I saw forever on a thread the other day and she said she was trying to wean herself off this board.

KittyChat · 13/10/2011 12:04

Hello, will be adding a few more of you in a minute (doodlebrain).

Am feeling really positive after finding this thread and seeing your weightloss success stories, it's not easy going it alone.

Question: why oh why does MFP have ads to Groupon deals for discount fast food on the right hand side!? Or is that just me and my browsing history? Blush

QueenStromba · 13/10/2011 12:24

That'll be your browsing history - I mainly get pretty dresses which is a good motivator.

sweetcouchpotato · 13/10/2011 13:01

Hello ladies, I haven't been on MN much, but I have been logging my every move on MFP. I'm on my 4th week doing C25K and really looking forward to doing a 5k park run in November when I've finished the program. DP has earned some brownie points by promising to run it with me.

I've added all the new people, I think. If I've missed someone, feel free to add me (same name).

Dreading the WI tomorrow. Confused

ladydeedy · 13/10/2011 13:08

well done sweetpotato! I am doing a 5K at end of November too. Are you wearing a Santa outfit for yours? I am Grin. We all are!! Should be hilarious!
Will not be able to weigh myself tomorrow as am away on business trip at the moment but have been super good and will weigh in when I get home.

I'm also very reliant on bread to give me that 'full' feeling. I've tried low carbing and just felt miserable all the time. Boringly, moderation is key here. So I'm trying to eat wholegrain bread/pasta/whatever instead, and smaller quantities.

ThePrincessRoyalFiggyrolls · 13/10/2011 22:10

bread is very bad!!!!!!
I miss it so...............
but I don't feel bloated any more

sweetcouchpotato · 14/10/2011 06:47

I've just changed my calorie goals so that I'll remember to eat more protein. Also, I've been exercising lots and I was starving all the time so I've decided to eat a bit more. That's probably why I only lost 0.3kg this week, but as long as I'm doing the exercise and eat well I'm not too worried.

My sugar is constantly in the red for eating fruit and yoghurts, so I can only dream about having a bloody Twix! Angry

ladydeedy, if I insisted on Santa outfits my husband would probably change his mind! Grin

Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone weighing in today!

ohijustdontknowanymore · 14/10/2011 07:18

How did Friday WI come round so fast?!

Well it's 3ibs off for me this week.

Whoop Whoop Whoop - Sorry but had to. My lovely 4 yo ds shared his head cold with me so suffered lovely fevers this week and body aches so hardly any exercise been done.

Hoping to be back to my running on Sunday if the chesty cough calms down and Zumba on Tuesday.

Have also become a little fond of weetabix cake which is 'gert lush' dh makes it and it is almost a healthyish treat. Have also ensured I increased my water intake and this does make a difference for me, getting that water in me first thing in the morning.

Sweetcouchpotato - Well done for your WI loss today saw it on MFP this morning.

Good luck for Friday WI people and for everyone one else for the next week.

Username on MFP - Bexsy all welcome to add me.

wordsonapage · 14/10/2011 08:00

Hello
Have just seen this thread
Hope you don't mind me barging in
Have lost 8 lb in three weeks ..combi of diet no wine and exercise but have stalled this week so maniacally inputting stuff on a new AP appeals to my OCD side and might keep me motivated.

Am same name on mfp so please feel free to add

Well tonight I know is going to be big, we have people for supper and the calories racked up in the cooking so far have totalled about 2000 without booze. I think I may fall [hsad] however I will get back on again tomorrow and I just had the most dull breakfast of rye bread and cottage cheese to counteract it after all I do have to eat!

QueenStromba · 15/10/2011 10:46

Everyone has blowouts from time to time, think of this as a good opportunity to practice how you'll deal with these situations from now on. You've got all day to earn yourself some exercise calories for a start. What's for dinner then?
