whatkungfuthat · 20/08/2011 09:41

Ria how is your hubby feeling now?

God knows what but it will be syn city!!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 20/08/2011 13:41

Enjoy your Indian EnvyEnvyEnvyEnvy

Cheeseandbiscuits · 20/08/2011 13:43

Oh for Indian veg biryani is least syns. I norm have prawns in tomato based sauce and make sure they add no cream. Do you live in London? There's a healthy Indian rest on baker at. It prides itself on low fat curries!

whatkungfuthat · 20/08/2011 13:55

Thanks Cheese I may have passanda go for that. I live in Herts, bordering N London but we are going out with friends who live in Bucks so we are meeting about halfway. I think I know the one you mean on Baker St, will remember it for a date night with DP Grin

Cheeseandbiscuits · 20/08/2011 14:37

Yep we plan it for our next date night. Have a lovely evening!

whatkungfuthat · 20/08/2011 15:14

Thanks, I'll be crying on DOD though!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 20/08/2011 15:37

Ok so done shred properly. Harder than just circuit 1Grin! Enjoyed it. Will ache tomorrow though...and tomorrow is zumba!

SlinkyB · 20/08/2011 20:08

Eek, good luck for tomorrow - I shredded on Thurs am, went to Zumba Thurs pm then shredded again yesterday morning and BOY was I glad of a rest today!

Saying that, not sure girly shopping around Cabot Circus all day is strictly 'resting', but I had a lovely time. Had sushi and a glass of wine for lunch, then got home to pasta and home-made sauce, with fresh fruit smoothie made by dss :) Not S.W by any standards, but then neither was the wedding cake I indulged in last night. Dod will be, erm, interesting for me next week...

Hope you're all enjoying your Saturday evening.

Riasdragonflytattoo · 20/08/2011 23:10

hey guys.

I am embracing the "devil may care" attitude. I haven't actually given up as such, because I consider everything before I drink itHmm, but am not exactly on planBlush

yesterday was nice. Didn't get to post as went out to local market to collect a local meat pack I ordered from a butcher, but he forgot my fancy sausages. Bought some different ones instead and they were lush. Posh hairdresser phoned to cancel my appointment next week (training day, s v cheap). In desparation dyed it myself. Not good. DH huffing cos I was so long in the bathroom, dreading DM reaction... Dh left family BBQ before the food as he wan't feeling well (came home to sleep but neighbours having a party... offended BIL in process). Food was fab, kids reasonable, DM absolutely wankered - to coin a phrase of a close friend - ROFLGrin(my fault because I kept filling up her glass before she had chance to comment on hairWink). Even wore skirt!

Spent today mucking out DS1s "den" (formerly our garage, which contains too much crap to fit the car in). He can now comfortably sit and play playstation, or keyboard, his spare guitar his hung up neatly and his drum kit is set out properly so he can play. Haven't worked up the courage for his room though. Have not done my dodgy back any favours though...

picnic and long forestry walk planned with DH and boys and DM/DF tomorrow. (DH hasn't had to sleep today, so maybe feeling better - thanks for asking KF etc, though he hasn't done a lot expect a little drilling and playing texas hold'em pokerHmm)

hope you all don't mind me staying "on thread" until I sort out my mental state

have a good SundaySmilex

Riasdragonflytattoo · 20/08/2011 23:12

still not shredded. how is it being female = not worthy of TV time??? I really want to do it.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 21/08/2011 07:29

Hi ria course you can stay. It's just a blip! But remember the longer you stay off plan, the harder it is to get back on it. glad DH is a bit better and am impressed you cleared the den out. was DS pleased? Am Envy of your lovely sausages.

I ache all over from shred and pilates. I might have been optimistic about doing zumba and shred, will see how I feel about shred tonight! Got to get organised to go to Scotland tomorrow.

Food
B: fruit and yog
L: jacket, beans and salad
D: fish pie with carrots and peas

whatkungfuthat · 21/08/2011 09:00

Morning all

Last night I had a tiny bit of poppodom, prawn puree, chicken passanda and mushroom rice Blush in my defence I didn't eat even half of my main and left about a quarter of the starter. Back on it today, I don't feel hungry yet but food is likely to be:

Toast
Fruit and ML's
Chicken with no skin, roast spuds in spray oil, veg, stuffing from syns

Have a lovely time in Scotland Cheese (I'm half scottish). Envy at the sausages Ria, sorting out and lifting equals exercise Grin

Hedgepig · 21/08/2011 13:19

Afternoon, I'm madly packing to go to Norfolk on for hols tomorrow, 2 weeks Grin. I'm thinking about taking the scales is that a but obsessive?
I need a pro talk too, I have started picking on a biscut here just a few crisps here, it is,not good this us how I put Ll my weight in in the 1st place. It seems so monumental

Hedgepig · 21/08/2011 13:24

Bloody phone!

ria you sound like a tidying whirlwind, please stick with us I really sense you are determined to loose weight you just have a ton of other stuff going on at the moment. Things will settle down once the kids are back at school
cheese I'm not surprised you are aching after all that exercise, have fun in Scotland

LittlePushka · 21/08/2011 21:58

Hello team,...I am back from a brief visit to the motherland.

Ok, so here is what I have learned from this weekend... if anybody suggests to you that you go paintballing some time, JUST SAY NO THEN RUN AWAY.

For the life of me I cannot imagine what I was thinking when I signed up. Oh,yes it was fun and you get a shot of testosterone strong enough to drop your voice an octave and grow hairs on your big toes,...but bugger does it hurt when you take a bullet for the team!

I have bruses on my legs and bum which are perfectly round, four inches in diameter and the colourways could not even be reproduced by and Old Master.

I have one on my throat and it looks like a love bite...Blush

LittlePushka · 21/08/2011 22:06

Take your scales Hedge pig,...because they might help steer you from the sneaky bikkies and crips which arechasing you about the kitchen right now.

Cheese you shredding on holiday? V. impressive. I did laugh at the one circuit faux pas!!!

Late night snacks - frozen grapes. Any other whizz ideas for staving off the munchies

Cheeseandbiscuits · 22/08/2011 06:51

Grinat paintballing. I haven't done it since I was a student!

Off to Scotland, will be lurking but prob won't post. Will try and be good andavoid fried mars bars. Good luck on weds everyone!

grinningbee · 22/08/2011 07:19

Bugger. Lost my post!

OP posts:
SlinkyB · 22/08/2011 07:22

Have a lovely holiday in bonny Scotland cheese !

My tip to avoid late night snacking is to brush your teeth (maybe even go whole hog and floss + mouth wash too). As, for me, I don't then want to mess my mouth up, and I start thinking it's time for bed...

The scales are calling me but I'm too scared to go into the bathroom. Think I'll do it post-shred.

Happy Monday morning all (oh, have you seen the weather forecast?! Depressing).

grinningbee · 22/08/2011 07:26

Morning all!

Is everyone disappearing again? Sad Hope you have lovely holidays Hedgepig and Cheese.

Please don't stop posting Ria I'll only come and find you on another list Wink. We're here for moral support too remember.

Went out for dinner with dh on Friday without the dc for the first time in 5 months. It went way too fast. I was naughty and had chicken fajitas, and a dark chocolate orange spiced fudge cake which was bloody lovely. I can thoroughly recommend this place www.iguanas.co.uk.

Today though I am all bloaty as I am waiting for af to appear any moment. Boo.

Food for the day:

Weetabix and a nectarine
Cheese triangles on toast, apple and a yogurt
Sweet chilli chicken and a big pile of roasted veg

grinningbee · 22/08/2011 07:34

Slinky the weather for the week looks awful, doesn't it Sad. I went for a big walk yesterday with dh and the dc and it was soooo hot! Was lovely though sat in a big park in the sunshine. Took a few sandwiches too so had a little picnic.

I know what you mean about the scales. I am retaining water like anything at the mo Sad so I really don't know what will show tomorrow if anything.

Anyway. Must get sorted as off to see my dad in a little bit. Already got a wash on the go and one dc fed Grin Just about to renew the old SW subscription for another 3 months. Can't believe it's already been 3 months since I started. Where did that go?????

whatkungfuthat · 22/08/2011 08:16

Morning all, Pushka nothing on this earth could persuade me to go paintballing but think of the exercise Grin Hope you have lovely hols Hedgepig and Cheese.

I am back on track today after birthday celebrations. I was good yesterday and didn't even have a bit of my own cake but I did have quite a few wine syns, would have been more but I didn't like one of them as it smelled of feet Shock

Toast, banana and honey
Super low fat noodles, fruit, ML
Steak with fat off, bubble and squeak from left over veg (I love a bit of bubble!) Green beans

Riasdragonflytattoo · 22/08/2011 13:03

Hi all. Am Envy of Norfolk and Scotland. Have a great time.

Shock DH has just made lunch for himself and the boysShockShock.

feeling a bit pants today. Did an 8.5 mile walk yesterday, which was lovely, but I have stuffed my ankle, and had a bad reaction to the painkillers I took for it.

looks like my second week in the Dales is off, due to a "mix up" in dates with an inconsiderate family memberAngry#

I have never been paintballing.
