kid best excuse yet, I like it!Grin

Well get your weigh ins to me today...I will publish between 5-6pm.

I can confirm I am out the naughty corner this week. Although I will sit at the back of the group with my sunnies on as I'm a bit hungover!!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 29/06/2011 07:19

Caught up with the rest of the chat last night!

hi summer, welcome welcome!!! Today is our day of Doom weigh in so if you would like to join in feel free to PM me your stats eg starting weight, loss this week, total loss ya di ya... as much or las little info as you like..then I publish the list of who as done what. You obv don;t have to do this bit either but I find it helps keep me motivated!

I have no idea why soup is syns..what a load of BS!

Didn't need the prune juice this am....a couple of glasses of white wine seems to have done the trick (pre weigh in too!)

Exercise today: Zumba
B: rasps, yoghurt
L: tuna and light mayo (2 syns) salad
D: going out with my antenatal group. Hence, no carbs during the day to try and limit the impact of tonight. Will try and be good, gin and slim plus maybe steak, new pots and veg ( if the steak ain't too expensivo)

grinningbee · 29/06/2011 07:57

Welcome Summer!

Glad you had a good night Cheese. Now, who was it saying yesterday they mustn't have any wine with the girls......? Grin

Good excuse Kid I like it Wink

It is big food shop today. Menus all planned for the week. Just got to hope that the dc are in a fairly decent mood Hmm

Today the food will be:

Weetabix and a banana
Ham sandwich with an apple and clementine
Sweet chilli chicken with roasted veg

Yum yum!

Muser · 29/06/2011 08:04

Here you all are! I went away for the weekend and lost you. Lost the plot as well. Half pound gain this week. BOO HISS. Feel like crap at the moment so hopefully lost appetite will help get me back on track.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 29/06/2011 08:25

I know, I know bee but I was having such a lovely time...It seemed a shame not to join in

muser not to worry pal! How was your weekend away? Its another week.....

grinningbee · 29/06/2011 08:56

1/2 a pound for a weekend away doesn't seem bad Muser! Hope you had a good time. Boo for feeling crap though.

I'm going to treat myself this week. I've been an alcohol free zone for 4 weeks, so on Friday I'm making a curry and sharing a bottle of red with dh.

1/2 a bottle seems to work out at 13.5 syns - so it's within the limits. Yay!

OP posts:
Cheeseandbiscuits · 29/06/2011 09:15

Oh is it..thats Ok then. I had no other syns yesterday so prob only went just over my syns! Yay...

That looks like a good plan bee. I did that once; made lamb Rogan josh, saag aloo and rice. If you want the recipe just shout.

Hedgepig · 29/06/2011 09:24

I'm liking your thinking Bee Grin

-1lb for me so very good considering the weekend I've had. I've gone back to getting salad a t work for lunck which consists of a huge plate of chopped salad (and I mean huge) plus some protein and bad coleslaw but it seems to be working.

grinningbee · 29/06/2011 09:32

Grin I'm a baaaaaaad influence - you'll all be on the wine now.

Thanks Cheese for the recipe offer. I have a lamb rogan josh one that is pretty nice. Except that dh won't eat lamb (I love it) so I have to make it with beef instead.

Be interested to see yours too actually - wonder if it's the same one. Only if you have time to post it though!

Right. I Must Get Things Done. Mr Tumble is on soon so that's my window for getting stuff done with no tugging on my leg from dd Wink

Back later!

redharrington · 29/06/2011 10:04

Morning all, I started properly from yesterday:

Breakfast - 1 large slice brown bread toast with a banana squashed onto it and a ML

Lunch - Sweet Chilli extra low fat super noodles, sliced banana with a ML yoghurt poured over it.

Dinner - Skinless chicken breasts, red and green peppers and mushrooms with a jar of passata poured over and baked, 'roast' spuds made with spray oil.

Snack - HEA Cheese cut into tiny cubes and eaten while watching Burn Notice

I try and save syns for weekend wine Grin

Cheeseandbiscuits · 29/06/2011 10:32

Looks good red. I also use my syns for wine!

LakeFlyPie · 29/06/2011 10:52

Have been enthusiastically warming up since monday and will start with weigh ins from today's DOD.
Managed to find my old SW book and read the previous fred from beginning to end last night which provided a couple of hours of inspiration and entertainment.

I had success with the old school red / green plan previously so will start with that and may branch out into EE once I start to see results.
Will be easier to plan food for the day rather than report yesterday's meal, mainly due to the fact that my sleep deprived brain can rarely remember what happened yesterday Blush

Green day today
B: FF yog, raspberries and muesli (HEB)

L: JP, cheese (HEA) salad
Fruit

D: Ratatouille + cous cous + halloumi (HEA)

Snacks: Fruit
Must remember to drink too.

Going to PYO fruit place with DSs today so plan to eat strawberries and raspberries until they come out of my ears for next few days.

Am bf 7mo DS2 ATM and would be grateful if someone could remind me what the deal is with extra HEs.

Need to factor in some exercise and syns for when the initial virtuous attitude wanes.

grinningbee · 29/06/2011 10:58

Lake snap with the 7 month old ds! Regards extra he's - if you are weaning then you only get 1 extra. And they recommend that it is an HeA.

Ok. Off to hit Sainsbury's. They're gonna love me though as I have a complaint to make first. They sold me out of date babyfood last week and it's going back today. Wish me luck!

OP posts:
Hedgepig · 29/06/2011 11:10

go get um Bee

so today I will be eating (EE):

B 1x Shredded wheat (HEB) 2 dried prunes (1syn)
L Salad with Tuna Mayo @ work (?? 8 syns for the mayo ekkkk)
T Quorn stirfry

Snacks Melon and grapes so far

kid · 29/06/2011 12:23

I walked my kids to school with the dog, walked back home and then walked to work which took an hour in total.
I've got more walking this evening, home, to and from two schools and I'll be finishing off with 45 minute aerobics class.

I think I'll WI tomorrow just so I can monitor my losses (hoping it's not a gain!)

Summerbird73 · 29/06/2011 12:50

Hi everyone thanks for the welcome Grin

Hedgepig i tend to stick with green days as i know them best, you can also have a decent portion of meat as your HE if you want some so that works for me.

Although today i am doing a EE day as i had tuna pasta bake (home made) for lunch with loads of onions peppers and tomatoes, as well as fruit. And DH is whipping up a home made chicken curry in a SW stylee tonight so i will have to have loads of fruit with that. But i am looking forward to it.

I am stuffing my face with fruit and activia's and feeling v full which is brill. I had a tesco lemon slice yesterday and felt bloated afters - what a waste of 8 syns.

And yes my syns are entirely for the Wine so at 13.5syns does that mean i could have half a bottle of wine a night Hmm

i once worked out you can have a litre of vodka a week if you saved up all of your syns! Shock obv i havent tested the theory!

PM'd you cheese

duckymum · 29/06/2011 14:15

Afternoon all

I am failing to keep up with thread again . Welcome to all the new losers (pounds, that is)

Well - no movement from me this week - probably as I have not been as careful as I should, then topped it off by going out for lovely lunch on Monday instead of doing my usual long walking day.

SO really need to try hard for next few weeks.

Was very good yesterday and put my old faithful work trousers and 2 old shirts in charity rag bag, so I am not tempted to wear them again (and have to fit into the smaller ones) (Or go shopping)

Cheeseandbiscuits · 29/06/2011 15:45

Just doing the list...anymore for anymore?

C4ro · 29/06/2011 16:33

Hullos. Have missed most of the fred action this week so nothing to add but in an act of total self flagellation I have come back to tell you all I've "found a cheeky pound" again so none of you have to come last this week.

It was the last weekends wedding party (part 100) that was to blame. Very nice indeed and after 9 weeks or so of dull fare/ near starvation I could not restrain myself . My brother said I looked a bit thiner but he is comparing me to the size I was at his wedding last October so I should ruddy hope I'm smaller now.

Anyways, I will attempt to keep up but in the meantime congrats to all this weeks losers and those of you finding the will to get to the gym and keep it up.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 29/06/2011 17:09

wow we have some really good weight losses in this thread! DH tried to order a pizza and i called his bluff by saying 'ok then off you go - i will just have to be extra good this weekend' he relented and is now making the chicken curry Grin

mmmm pizza.....! Hmm

by the way i am summerbird but i do like the new name you have given me cheese Smile

mandalee · 29/06/2011 20:03

Go bees - both of you!

Am chuffed to have lost 500g since I had not one but TWO fancy meals this week! No doubt left - high protein is the go for me.

Welcome to all newbies! This is a great spot.

kid · 29/06/2011 20:50

Well done on your losses, c4, 1pm is not a big gain, hopefully it will be added to loss next week.

I went aerobics tonight and usual teacher wasn't there. The man that took the class almost killed me and I swear i am not exaggerating. I wanted to give up during the warm-up, it was a killer!
I've been home for 15 minutes and my chest and throat is still hurting. I can taste blood in my mouth (def no blood present) and I keep coughing. I am never going to one of his classes again!

I also walked for miles today, approximately 5 miles in total which I think is pretty amazing even if I do say so myself. I'm going to watch apprentice and then it's off to bed for me Grin

grinningbee · 30/06/2011 08:17

Woohoo! Some fab losses this week Grin Well done everyone.

How's the hangover this morning Cheese? Wink

I returned the out of date babyfood yesterday. Not sure what I was expecting, but they weren't that interested. They refunded the 3 jars and gave me three more. Assured me someone would go and check the shelves straight away... and yet later on I found another one. Oh well.

The food for today will be:

Weetabix and a banana
Cheese triangles on toast and an apple
Leftover chicken and roasted veg
Grapes and clementines for snacks

Back later, ds is whinging like a demon.

OP posts:
Cheeseandbiscuits · 30/06/2011 08:39

Fab losses, seems 3.5 is a magic number this week!!

Sorry for the namechange summerbird Smile

Not too bad bee thanks. Had poached seatrout with new pots and veggies. With a couple of glasses of wine. Mistakenly ordered a raspberry fartini when I meant to say flirtini Blush ha - I'm a lightweight!

Today DH has a day off before another run of late and night shifts so the plan is legs, bums and tums followed by a family walk to the park and along the river ( lots of exercise to burn off the booze)
Food today:
B scrambled egg and bacon on toast
L prawn salad
D lamb rogan Josh with rice

Going to have a booze free weekend....
