Hope the title is ok - if not, someone else can do another one Grin

grrrr lost my post it was a good un too Smile

Hedgepig · 14/07/2011 14:49

Kid chin up old bean, 2 belt notches are fab Grin. There are going to be ups and downs on this diet, but I really believe this SW diet should be sustainable in the long term. I have been pretty much stuck for over a month but the weight has started to come off again which is great. Just take 1 day at a time and don't worry about yesterday if it wasn't such a good day (cripes I'm sounding a bit evangelical there)

That said I just scoffed a bit of cake we bought to try and tempt DS2 to eat, I looked it up and it's 8 syns Shock. So no wine for me tonight, not that I drink wine any more ::crosses fingers while typing that bit::

time to get DS1 from school

grinningbee · 14/07/2011 15:07

See, I was going to be all positive too, and Hedgepig beat me to it. Thing is Kid, you're still here and haven't disappeared into the internet ether just because you had a gain, and as you said - you've lost a stone, and you're tightening your belt! That's a great loss Grin And you're doing the exercise (which I am not at the mo) so you are doing something.

Now then. Do we have to be any more positive young lady??? Wink

Well done all the losers. Me and Kid will sit in the corner till next week!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 14/07/2011 15:33

By the way hedgepig huge respeck to you for your massive weight loss. Bloody incredible!

grinningbee · 14/07/2011 15:40

Ooooh Hedgepig Are you going for the next stone bracket next week? And almost 3 stone off now.

I must tell you this, 'cos it's funny. Earlier on dd said to me "It's dangerous" I asked her what was dangerous. To which she replied "The pooh in my nappy"! It made me laugh, a lot. Until I changed it anyway. Baked beans have quite an effect it woud seem...

OP posts:
Hedgepig · 14/07/2011 17:58

Well done to us all

Bee if I can get below 12st next week I would just be so incredible Grin, I would be so amazed.

kid · 14/07/2011 18:37

Aww, thanks for your kind words. I know I'm doing okay on sw but I know I could do better which is what's bugging me. My mood probably isn't helped by star week which seems to come round far too quickly (21day pill cycle so I guess it does go quickly)

I didn't go gym tonight as both my gym buddies backed out. I didn't want to go alone as you often have to partner up with someone so without gym buddy there, I'm not partnering up with anyone!
I might go on the wii fit later, as long as dh goes to bed early!

Fab losses everyone, just 2 of us sitting in the corner with a gain this week!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 14/07/2011 21:13

Go hedgepig go!

8Kid* I hate going on my own too but always go - feel so much better after. Have you been on the wii? Legs bums and tums killed me today, I am shattered. Just lounigng on the sofa.

Tomorrow is the drive to Newport. I am going to stay with pals in Cardiff for the weekend so not too horrendous. I have got all the packing to do, so I should really shift myself

kid · 14/07/2011 21:50

cheese I haven't been on the wii yet as DH is hogging the TV. He is at work this weekend so I'll get to use it as much as I like over the weekend. I've got cardio on Sunday and I don't mind going to that one on my own as you don't have to work in pairs.

I really fancy going swimming but have to wait for DS to get the cast off really as thats just cruel if I go without him Grin He has been so well behaved the last few days, I'm thinking about giving him his xbox back but I reckon it will turn him back into the devil child!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 14/07/2011 22:07

Hmm if it was pair stuff I prob wouldn't go on my own either.
Ah your poor son. What does the xbox do to turn him from angel to devil?

kid · 14/07/2011 22:47

He becomes obsessed with the games he is playing and if I dare tell him to turn it off he goes into a right strop. It makes no difference if he has been playing it for hours on end. I've paid for the gold membership so its a bit of a waste of money that its not being used but I am very happy he is being so lovely.
I did tell him that if he gets it back and starts being mean and naughty, then I would sell it so he can't ever get it back. He has coped really well with not having it, I am impressed.
We'll have to come up with some rules for him to agree to before he gets it back, that way he will know whats expected from him.

Thinking of SW, tonights dinner was really nice. I had a some diced lamb but not much so I diced some chicken too and mixed it with veg stock and lots of veg and also added some mint sauce. Everyone ate it which always confirm that it was indeed tasty!

I have jars of biryani (from sainsburys) I need to know how many syns they are before I consider using them. I really fancy that tomorrow though with some chicken. Any ideas? Its got a powder of spices at the top of the jar and then a sauce in the main jar. I'm guessing syn value is high even though its not that creamy.

kid · 14/07/2011 22:50

Its this 'Sharwood's Mint & Coriander Biryani 432g' and contains 44kcal per 100g. Please tell me I can have this for dinner tomorrow Grin

grinningbee · 14/07/2011 23:23

kid I've just looked it up for you. SW website says it's 2 syns per 100g. Hope that helps!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 14/07/2011 23:23

I'm upstairs now kid but will check it out in the morning.

Currently outside DD door listening to her stir....please go bk to sleep < mutters over and over>

Gosh, sounds like you've done the right thing with x box! Cor, got all this to look forward to!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 14/07/2011 23:23

Ha bee Is on the case!

grinningbee · 14/07/2011 23:44

Grin I'm just having a few rare minutes of me time. Just got ds to sleep, and dh snoozing on the sofa. Good luck with dd cheese

OP posts:
kid · 14/07/2011 23:49

I checked dd and ds before going to bed myself and they are both sound asleep in ds's bed. They argue so much and pretend they hate each other but I know the truth Grin
If his bedroom wasn't such a mess, I'd take a photo!

Thanks for checking syns, that's dinner sorted then and I'm going to make egg fried rice in the morning for lunch.
I really, really need some recipes (the easier the better) to keep me on plan.

BonzoDooDah · 15/07/2011 01:28

DoD today for me as was away yesterday. Lost 1lb making 16lb so far. WOuld have liked to have lost more but been away and eaten icecreams and and chips ... yum and bad!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 15/07/2011 08:01

Well done bonzo, down is down is down.
Thats cute kid they love each other really! Hope everyone had a better nights sleep!

Good nights sleep last night, now just need to get organised for the weekend and get off MN

B: Omelette
L: Chicken salad roll and apple
D: Not sure, at a mates house.

grinningbee · 15/07/2011 12:54

Well done Bonzo.

How do everyone!

We've had a bit of good news today (no, we don't have the winning euromillions ticket Envy) and tonight I am having some wine. Yum!

Food for today is:

Weetabix and a banana
Beans on toast, and apple and maybe a yogurt
Cannelloni and wine. Dh will be having garlic bread and chips too Envy

I'm planning on a mooch around Nottingham tomorrow, and a trip to Bravissimo (never been before) as I'm fed up of bras that don't fit.

Right, best go and put on the beans for lunch then.

Hi all. Can I join in please? Need something to keep me on the straight and narrow, and the fridge full of healthy food doesn't seem to be doing it!

grinningbee · 15/07/2011 14:24

Ria I remember you from an old thread I was on. Welcome in, pull up a chair Grin (um, you are the Ria who has lots of name variations, aren't you?? Feel silly if not!)
