Welcome one, and welcome ALL to our 10th Thread, celebrating the long haul that has been central to our successful weight loss...

There is certainly lots more success to be enjoyed, so stay and weigh, there is always someone on hand for support or to give a kick up the backside as needed Grin We are good at motivating one another that's for sure!

Passes out the champagne that looks suspiciously like wine, Blondes you are only allowed ONE!

Quickly rounding up here, having 0 point soup which is so boring. The diet is going very well at the moment, in that I am losing weight, but am very bored. Yesterday went wrong though, I think I really paced it badly, because when I was going to bed I was dreadfully hungry!

Well done GT on the loss, fabulous, well done on the STS Smalline - and well done too on the Pink Ribbonwalk.

bebe How are the glasses?

Smokin Hope you are now being good?!

Pretty The only angst was Blondes' when she lost to meeeee

Blondes, daytime naps would make you jet lagged, although I fancy one now Grin Your mind must be very actively busy, and when it is late and quiet, it must feel even busier? Crap TV and gin, or hot bath, lappy and gin/red wine maybe will continue to help you crash? And if you are dozing you are still resting.
(Hug for tonight, will be thinking of you)

Had a tantrum and threw the soup away.

bebejones · 23/05/2011 16:01

Glasses have not arrived! Angry Got to wait til 2moro! Fed up!! Stupid double vision! :(

Been well behaved today. (Despite making cakes)

B - OJ & yoghurt & banana
L - 2/3 bag wotsits, ryvita & lf philly, 1/4 melon
D - Covent Gd Soup - Spanish one...yummy! 135cals/portion

Shall have more melon/yoghurt if hungry.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 23/05/2011 21:11

I've done really badly today, in that I haven't really had anything and now it's got rather late.

I had some grapefruit segments this am, the ones in juice, I do quite like them.

Then I had an apple, but about 56 coffees.
Then I had a tantrum and threw away my carrot and ginger soup at lunchtime that was actually about 3pm, because I just couldn't be arsed with it

and now, its 9.10 and I am past it.

I think I need a kick up the arse really..

Sorry bebe you are having to wait for your glasses, that must be v frustrating.

OP posts:
GettinTrimmer · 23/05/2011 21:16

You must be very hungry pisty.

What a pain about your glasses Bebe - in fact glasses are a pain all round, have you tried contact lenses? I did and didn't get on with them.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 23/05/2011 21:27

Lovely GT - I think I'm past it tbh. My online shopping has just arrived, and I know there are some of my muller light yogs in there so I may have one later. It has all got a bit late.

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 23/05/2011 21:57

why throw your soup away :(

silly pisty :(

i forced myself to eat beans on toast - least if i fart no one will complain

RatherBeOnThePiste · 23/05/2011 22:02

I had a tantrum Blush

RatherBeOnThePiste · 23/05/2011 22:12

I think I want something a whole lot more exciting to eat!! But I don't want to give up on the low carb because it is working and that has to be a good thing Grin I'll go until 9th June, then I'll go for a big fat curry and put it all back on again.Lol..

Sometimes though it is so boring!

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 23/05/2011 22:51

diets are boring

GettinTrimmer · 23/05/2011 22:53

Blondes, beans on toast has every nutrient you need. In one of my Delia cookbooks she says beans on toast with a poached egg is the most nutritious meal she can think of. Hope you settle down tonight xx

You will need something substantial tomorrow pisty if running.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 23/05/2011 23:00

Just had a muller light yogourt. It was cherry. Now that was exciting!!

Yes if diets were fun and exciting imagine how different the world would be? Grin

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 23/05/2011 23:29

Pickled onion monster munch

And if I make crumbs then I shall sleep on them!!!!!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 23/05/2011 23:37

You're eating pickled monster munch in bed?! Washed down with gin? Watching crap tv??! I call that a party!
Fabulous!

I got over excited with my muller light cherry yog. I licked out the pot and cut my tongue. There was blood involved. Well a tiny bit, but want to go for the full dramatic effect and sympathy vote!

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 24/05/2011 07:39

washed down with hot choc

weird combo but tasty

hope tongue is ok x

bebejones · 24/05/2011 08:01

Oh no Piste!!! Ouchy! Hope it's ok!

Pickled onion & chocolate....Hmm very odd Blondes!

Fingers Crossed I can pick up my glasses later, I really need them!

Trimmer - I do have contacts (now not the right prescription!) but I don't generally wear them as I got out of practise after DD was born!

Hoping I can be good today, aiming for a loss again this week! :)

RatherBeOnThePiste · 24/05/2011 08:03

Thumbs up for weird and tasty combinations!

Tongue is fine Blush It was Karma you see. I won't let my DC do licking out of the pots like that, so when I did it late last night cos no one was looking, I was always destined for trouble Grin

prettybird · 24/05/2011 09:26

Ds used to like nutella and ham sandwiches. I think he only stopped having them 'cos he was teased at school :(

Piste - I hope the tongue is OK - Karma will always get you, sooner or later!

GettinTrimmer · 24/05/2011 10:30

These things are sent to try us, I am trying to see the doctor/nurse, have booked 4 appointments, missed one (forgot Blush) I'm told the wrong date for the next one (or I've written it down wrong). Then a week later for the next rebooked I did something wrong on the automated booking in screen, waited for 30 minutes, then get told I am not booked in, waited another 10 minutes then get told I can't be seen (BUT I described what I did and it was all correct!). Now I've just turned up and the doctor has gone home sick.

I have to be seen as apparently I have borderline cells to do with a smear test result.

Now I feel much better for just moaning about it!!

blondes Are monster munch lower calories/fat than normal crisps? Hope you got a bit more sleep last night.

pretty I know someone who used to have ham and tomato sauce sandwiches. I used to love cheese and marmite.

pisty Grin glad tongue is ok

bebe I really hope you pick up your glasses today. Bloody annoying. I had to bite my tongue today but probably had a face like a lemon.

bebejones · 24/05/2011 12:17

Glasses are IN! :o Going to get them after DD has finished lunch!

I just had a piece of malt loaf, 3/4 bag wotsits & about half a melon (hard to judge it's cut into cubes!

That is all I have had as we are having chinese tonight! :o What's good to have? I can never remember! Shall have some boiled rice & maybe some kind of chicken dish? Hmm Shall not have sesame prawn toast, spring rolls or crispy duck! :(

bebejones · 24/05/2011 12:20

Posted too soon! Blush

Trimmer - :( about cells, hope when you eventually get to see the doctor (how irritating Angry on your behalf) that they can shed some light on it for you x

Pretty - Nutella & ham sounds gross! :( that your DS got picked on coz of his unusual tastes though! Maybe he will be the next Heston & we will all be chomping on nutella & ham thinking it's marvellous! :o

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/05/2011 13:33

bebe glad glasses are in - i wear contact and love them

trimmer ive had several borderline smears and then had 3 colposcoys and cells lasered and frozen off as well as a cone biopsy so that i have a weird shaped cervix-

so much so that a few years ago when having a smear i was asked if some students could have a look up my fanjo so that they could see what a cone biopsy cervix looked like

i was a bit Blush but thought what the hell, thats how students learn

so any questions just holler xx

prettybird · 24/05/2011 14:18

Don't know where ds came up with the idea Confused It was called a "ham jam" sandwich, 'cos he calls Nutella "chocolate jam" :)

bebejones · 24/05/2011 16:49

Awww chocolate jam is SO cute! I might have to start calling it that! :)

I have my glasses, I am thrilled! I can see properly for the first time in nearly 3 weeks! No double vision (well hardly, unless I look extreme right, but they won't fix the eye muscles straight away!). Don't know if any of you have been reading the count your blessings thread, but my new glasses & corrected vision are my blessing for today! :)

RatherBeOnThePiste · 24/05/2011 17:15

Really glad the glasses are helping Bebe!!

Blondes - lol at your famous fanjo, it will be signing autographs next Grin

Trim - I hate the docs, actually mostly I hate doctors' receptionists, they are honestly a different breed. I send them all Pisty Evils for you

Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

Just get yourself to the Docs and get it sorted, but you are in my good books for having had the smear..

I hope everyone is up to date with their smears?

Bebe - pure Envy on the Chinese and Pretty I love the idea of chocolate jam!
