I weigh myself daily, I know I shouldn't but it's a really hard habit to break! Period not due until next week so don't think it's that?

For breakfast, I've had porridge made with soya milk and some blueberries, a low fat activia yogurt (the porridge exploded over the microwave so lost some!) plus a mug of cherry and cinnamon fruit tea. Lunch will be scrambled eggs and cottage cheese which has been my daily breakfast for the past 4 weeks and who knows for dinner. I am on holiday this week as it's half term and probably eat more with the children than I do when I am at work so need to avoid picking at their food! (Probably why I've not lost weight this week if I am completely honest!)

MarionCole · 31/05/2011 12:58

For lunch I am having a one egg omelette with mushrooms, tomatoes, shallot and a bit of green chilli. Yum.

Furball · 31/05/2011 14:14

sorry - been away for the weekend

walked 19 miles over 3 days!

and ate more or less healthily, refused cake, I also refused a chocolate brownie. Took one bite and thought it wasn't as nice as it looked so gave it to ds. (who had already eaten his!) but did succumb to a double mr whippy 99

Welcome to anyone new.

very well done to small for entering the next stone.

tortoise - welcome to my 'tube of pringles club' - tis quite a satisfying club and a very tasty one at that.

marion - no worries, it happens, just jump straight back on it.

I will weigh tomorrow morning.

Today

Fried Bacon, eggs, mushrooms and beans - our usual breakfast when in our caravan!

lunch = cheese on toasted crusty bread (leftovers)

tea = Pasta, chicken, brocolli and cauliflower in philly light with garlic and herbs.

Have been away for a couple of days so not been posting. Weighed in Sunday and had not lost anything! Had been really good as well, swimming everyday and eating well. Had a glitch (or 2!) since then and have eaten chocolates, fish and chips and had 2 halves of lager. Put on 2 lbs(hardly surprising). Back on it now though, today ...
Special k, 1 slice toast with peanut butter
Steamed vegetables and chicken
Will be salad for dinner
Swam 10 lengths

Welcome to the new comers :)

Smalline · 01/06/2011 08:37

2 tangerines & 1 apple(at the pictures), abt 5 McD chips,
1/4 fish sandwich (which the kids left), 1/4 pineapple
10 almonds, 1 teaspoon peanut butter
roast chicken with mixed veg & noodles
2 Jaffa cakes.

MarionCole · 01/06/2011 11:03

Had 3 Belgian chocolates last night, but all in all not a bad day.

MarionCole · 01/06/2011 16:03

Cycled about 3 miles to town and back rather than taking the car, so I decided I deserved a Magnum.

Furball · 01/06/2011 17:40

Oops marion

cycling = 50 cals a mile

walking = 100 cals a mile

Magnum = 270 cals...............

MarionCole · 01/06/2011 17:49

Furball · 01/06/2011 20:59

good luck tomorrow tortoise - hope it goes well. Smile

theothermrsclooney · 02/06/2011 08:34

Yesterday I had;
Breakfast: Porridge made with soya milk and a handful of blueberries.
Lunch: 2 egg omelette with salad and cottage cheese
Dinner: homemade beef stew
Snacks: 1 apple, 1 low fat yogurt. All good then 1 large glass of wine and a slice of banana cake! Lesson remembered - wine gives me the munchies.

No real exercise yesterday. Did one of the 30 minute Davina workouts on Tuesday can walk but sitting down is a challenge!

Fingers crossed for your interview today Tortoise. Take a deep breath before you go in and smile. You'll feel better and the interviewer relaxes too.

Smalline · 02/06/2011 09:28

Ooh good luck Tortoise, sending lots of positive vibes your way

Yesterday was not the best of days, I've got to stop eating my kids leftovers.
Had dinner at the dogs last night and won £29Grin,

Breakfast 2 boiled eggs
Lunch 1/2 large cheese & tomato pizza & salad (incl. 1 slice dd left on her plate)
yogurt
Dinner spare ribs, chicken salad and salsa, was really pleased with myself for being so good, I then spoilt it by eating my dd's leftover dessert, a large waffleBlush.
Finished the day off by having 3 chocolate chip cookies at home.

Oh well a new day today, I'm going to the gym tonight.

Furball · 02/06/2011 10:00

Tortoise · 02/06/2011 12:25

Well done on the win small.

So, so nervous about interview. Think it is because it is all new to me. I don't know what to expect. Will let you know how I get on.

MarionCole · 02/06/2011 17:12

Being busy does wonders for my diet. It's past 5pm and I've just realised that all I have eaten is 2 slices of toast and a bowl of salad. And I don't feel hungry. Chilli con Jamie for tea, yum.

Tortoise · 02/06/2011 17:30

I don't think I did very well at the interview. Good experience though.

Sausages, mash, veg and gravy for tea, followed by eton mess (naughty but nice!)

OP posts:
Furball · 02/06/2011 17:51

You never know til you know tortoise! - they may see you for the decent honest person you are. Smile

we've got corned beef salad (don't say anything - I couldn't be bothered think of anything else) and jacket potato. followed by eton mess, but I'll probably use raspberries.
