Vnmum : welcome back
Blondes.. I thought we were kindred spirits.. how can anyone not like chips Hmm
JoJo, splurge some of your big win on some BNS!
Debs I have been losing weight (very) slowly but surely since 6th Jan. The only week I stayed the same was the week I failed to eat all of my dailies each day.

I have spent all morning on a long walk with DCs and DH, and all afternoon playing cricket with DS. Must have done some good, surely. (Need to justify to self the Malteser bunny that is calling to me from the kitchen cupboard )

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/03/2011 20:23

Noway ha ha. You are so right

ww said all can eat 49 and lose weight but that's not 100% true

Met a friend for a SB this morning ( been dumped by her man) :( so that turned into 2 and 2 grande chai tea latte are 12 Shock

That was my breakfast Blush

Lunch was a quorn chicken salad 4pp

Tea was 200g salmon (trying to fill up self with protein) and a huge plate of carrots/brocollia and courgette 9pp

Leaving 3pp for monster munch

And that makes 28pp

Yes I'm hungry :( but a true friend :)

Roll on Tom and new 29 Grin

vnmum welcome back :)

Had a bit of a bad week. Just topped it off with a delicious (put mega pointed) sunday lunch with friends.

I can only hope that I stay the same this week. However, it will be a miracle if I do!

Androbbob - I've worn the lovely blue flowery top you sent me a few times now. Everytime I wear it, people comment on my weight loss. It's so lovely to wear something that fits, and is flattering. Thank you very, very much for being too thin to wear it. Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/03/2011 20:58

littlefish when's WI?

What dis u eat an have u any weekies you can take from?

OP posts:
Littlefish · 20/03/2011 21:05

Weigh in is Tuesday.

I've stayed within my daily and weekly points (just), but seem to have eaten more than I have in previous weeks if you see what I mean. I've eaten more bread than usual and it's left me feeling really bloaty.

I just really don't feel like I've lost anything - in fact, my clothes feel tighter again. I'm not due on for a couple of weeks, so it can't be that.

WynkenBlynkenandNod · 20/03/2011 21:06

Was going to try and catch up with thread but did the Shred and am now shedded and if the truth be told feel a little sick. So am going to wish you all a positive week with hopefully good losses and I need to sleep, hoping I can move tomorrow.

hmc · 20/03/2011 22:18

Blimey Blondes I'd be gnawing on the table leg with that quantity of food!

Littlefish -I've fecked up a bit this week too! Have used all my weeklies (and don't get the next lot until Wednesday night) and in addition, have gone 22 over! I have earnt 10 exercise points to offset some of those, but will have to cane it in the gym for next couple of days to recoup the other 12 and cross fingers for an sts. I don't regret it though - I have been famished this week. Do you find you have weeks when you are ravenous and others when you are okay?

hmc · 20/03/2011 22:19

Mind you - I don't know why I am comparing myself to you, at least you've had the discipline to stay within your dailies and weeklies!

hmc · 20/03/2011 22:21

Meant to say 'Hi' Vnmum - a couple of weeks of laxity are fine, particularly when at goal and over a house move. Great that you are back on track - thats the key I think, being able to regroup and get back on it

NoWayNoHow · 20/03/2011 22:22

hmc also ran out of discipline this week - one weekly left to last till Tuesday morning.

blondes I think you're going to have a lot of data this week on the WI results of those who eat all their weeklies Grin

hmc · 20/03/2011 22:23

Use it wisely NoWay, use it wisely Grin

Littlefish · 20/03/2011 22:23

hmc - yes definitely. Some weeks I find it really easy to follow the plan, and don't feel hungry at all.

Other weeks, I can eat the same foods, and be absolutely bloody starving!!!!

hmc · 20/03/2011 22:25

It has got to be hormonal hasn't it...I think I am mid-late cycle at the moment (better right at the beginning)

androbbob · 20/03/2011 23:26

Littlefish - glad it fits and I did also get complements wearing same top - not what I would usually pick as a top but just shows you! Hopefully you will be too thin to wear it soon Grin

Been a Bad Mum tonight - was going out for Indian with friends from School PTA and told DS he could stay up until I came home - expected to be back by 9 at the latest as out a 7. Roll on 10.30pm and me back home with a stroppy DH who has had to entertain DS (4) and watch kids tv! I had a lovely evening though and had a Naan bread and a mixed tandoori grill with no rice and no sauce! I was also driving so no wine! I am assuming I have used all 49 (even though I probably havent) and will stick to my 29 for the rest of the week until Weds.

Here's to a great week - too tired to update spreadsheet so will let you know the weekly loss tomorrow!

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/03/2011 00:17

'gnaws on finger nails'

Tummy ir rumbling and dh made himself a fish finger and cheese sarnie and then 'wafted' it past me Angry

Yes he offered half to me knowing full well I would say no

Tech it is now Monday - can I start my new 29? Grin

Yes weekies hmc be interesting what happens this week

androb curry sounds yummy - and sure less than 49 for bread and dry chicken dish

NoWayNoHow · 21/03/2011 08:53

Morning all.

Feeling very sorry for myself this morning. All coldy and bunged up and miserable. Fully intend to lie down until DS comes back from nursery.

Shouldn't be any problem staying in my 29 today - don't feel like eating at all (I must be REALLY sick Grin)

Poor you blondes - and how very cruel of your DH!

androbob, I'm with blondes, no ways your curry and naan would have been 49. Why don't you go through it all and point it on your tracker - I think you'd be pleasantly surprised!

hmc · 21/03/2011 09:16

Hope you feel better soon NoWay - at least there is a silver lining with no appetite!

"Androbbob" - can't find mixed tandoori grill in the Eating Out Guide, but half a Tandoori chicken is 15pp as a guideline, and a plain naan is 12

Going to work out how much exercise I need to do to start tackling my 12 pp and hopefully bank some additional activity points. Think I might start with a 5 mile run today (bugger - time consuming and I've got other stuff to do)

hmc · 21/03/2011 09:19

I meant Androbbob - doh!

debs39 · 21/03/2011 09:41

Am putting my trust in you all and had full lot of points yesterday...and will again today and day after and after and after and after..........was generally having about one day of full points and the other 6 at under my 29...sometimes as low as 14 or so ( cos I love my raw veggies and steamed veg and tend to use that to fill up on and stop the munchies!!) Have always exercised so can't say it is me building muscle either.. :( Wish me luck...tho on girls' wkend away this Saturday and Sunday so doubt will be a loss anyway!!!!! Especially when they are going to a mexican restaurant...a mexican of all places....have seen the menu and may just end up eating a napkin then getting a small marg pizza takeaway at midnight!!! All superhigh point dishes at the restaurant..... )

vnmum · 21/03/2011 09:41

Androbbob I am very jealous of your curry, I haven't had a curry since i started WW as they are just too high in points and i can't resist choosing the high point creamy sauces. It meant that I never got chance to go back to the Lal Qila when I was living near you, I used to go to the southport one very regularly when i was a teenager. And well done on choosing a low point item off the menu.

Has anyone bought the new oriental cookbook? I quite fancy it.

Good luck for all WI's today

NoWayNoHow · 21/03/2011 10:14

vnmum if you fancy a curry, try this

(you have to be logged in to WW site)

3PP for the meal, add another 6PP for 60g (dried) rice.

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/03/2011 10:31

vnmum i love curry and chicken shaslick is very low as not in sauce - did you not have rice - rice=curry in blondes book Grin

debs you eat 14 a day Shock

'shakes roughly' no wonder you are not losing weight and gaining, your body thinks it is being starved and in desperation trying to hold onto fat cells - hence the gain

now promise me you will eat all your 29

what i dont understand about new wwpp is that someone can weigh 14stone and have 29 a day, and me at 11.5 stone has 29 Hmm

OP posts:
ClaireDeLoon · 21/03/2011 10:55

I am also in the 'eaten all my weeklies, none left for a few days' club Blush although I'm fairly well up on the activity points and haven't used any of those. I didn't expect to lose last week as I had been out night before, but lost 2lbs so I'm thinking that will catch up with me this week. WI Weds morning for me.

mrskbpw · 21/03/2011 11:37

Morning all!

I am very pleased to report that I have lost 2lb this week. Am slightly astonished as I have to admit I'm really struggling with the PPs. I'm still not convinced it's as good for us veggies as the old way.

I was really worried last week as I am SO desperate for it to work. I've always really 'got on' with WW and I need to lose weight as I look terrible. But now I feel slightly more confident as it seems to be working.

Has anyone got any good recipes to share? I find the recipe bit on the WW website a bit clunky.
