Happy Mother's Day to everyone . Had horrendous situation with DD being bullied at school after some of the girls looked at a file which had pupil info in it and can't remember if reported WI result. In case I didn't, lost 1.5lbs, taking me to 50lbs which is a nice milestone.

Went swimming today then DD cooked a lovely (pointed !) lunch and stuffed my face with ice cream at Barford farm which was just divine. Ice cream a bit of a theme, had a New Forest choc ice cream at Moors Valley. Off to Prezzo for lunch tomorrow as friend's 40th so don't think I will have any weeklies left at this rate .

Local pool has a swim card, two months for price of one, so am trying to swim it all off!

NoWayNoHow · 03/04/2011 18:50

wizzler maltesers bunny only 4pp - I say go for it!

wynken sorry to hear about your DD's nasty situation, but am glad you had a good day today with her. Enjoy prezzo, they do a pasta arrabbiata as a nice low pp option, so you may not have to use ALL your weeklies!

NoWayNoHow · 03/04/2011 18:51

Oh, and congrats on 50lb milestone wynken!

WynkenBlynkenandNod · 03/04/2011 18:51

Wizzler aren't those bunnies relatively low in pps, 4 or something, or was that in a dream I had ?!

WynkenBlynkenandNod · 03/04/2011 18:54

Thanks Noway. know what you mean about eating that sort of food . Still haven't forgotten how I felt on Boxing day having eaten over 100 points the day before, wasn't pleasant at all and did make me realise a few things about previous eating habits.

Piffle · 03/04/2011 19:01

Ahh nothing special foodwise today after las nights transgressions
Took dogs on 2. Mile field walk so earned a few activity pp
Eaten very lean today
Still have 4 pp and 4 activity pp
Might walk 1 mile to pub for a pint and home again!
All meal planned for next week!
Mon Chilli con carne tomorrow
Tue WW Italian spicy chicken, veg and new potatoes
Wed pasta and sauce
Thu chicken casserole, mashed carrot and swede, new potatoes
Fri maple soy Pork fillet, broccoli and sauté potatoes
I'm proud I've got this AND all lunches sorted!!

wizzler · 03/04/2011 19:07

Wynken.. well done on loss. I read your post on DD situation, and was horrified on your behalf. Hope she is OK... poor lamb.

Malteser Bunnies are only 4 points each. However I have 4 in the cupboard which is 16 if I eat them all at once. !

Willabywallaby · 03/04/2011 19:10

hmc our table was booked for 12pm, sat down just before so we were in there when you were!

vnmum · 03/04/2011 19:11

well done wynken and sorry to hear about your DD.

Those maltesers bunnies are delish and even though they are only 4PP, that is not helped by the fact they are on offer as 2 for a £1 so it is double the temptation

WynkenBlynkenandNod · 03/04/2011 19:22

Piffle impressed with your organisation, will try and take a leaf out of your book.

Wizzler can see the problem then if there are 4 in cupboard ! Haven't tried them yet and probably best I don't, especially if they are on special offer, have enough problems with Mini Eggs.

Thanks for sympathy for DD and VNMum too. I'm just so cross, she's had do much to deal with, you name it, she gets it poor thing. She's just got a brace which wasn't easy and things had just settled down, she's started walking to school with friends and I thought, great, she's doing really well. Then this and it's the flipping teacher's fault. Sorry to moan, am gearing myself up for tomorrow and further phone call to Head on Tue. Refuse to let it sabotage diet though.

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/04/2011 19:42

Blush

I'm on mumsnet to try and distract myself from the feeling that I ought to eat something. I'm not actually hungry, but I've only eaten 2 meals today, so my body is waiting for the 3rd.

froot · 03/04/2011 21:10

Happy Mothers Day to all. I have been a complete ww disgrace this week - having put on 6 lb on holiday (was at my 'mental' goal right before I went) I planned to get back to it on Monday but somehow didn't, then got a horrid cold/chesty temperatury lurgy that I am still shaking off. So no excercise all week and ate loads of crapshite. DS (bless his cotton socks) gave me TWO boxes of chocs for mother day and dd gave me a Thorntons chocolate thingy and MIL brought me chocolates too. And me dad cooked the most fattening delicious dessert ever at lunchtime and is about to feed me chicken liver pate to make me feel better...

However tomorrow is a new day and I will go for wi and I should still be well within 5 lb of ww goal (my 'mental' goal is actually 6 lb less than my official ww goal) so should still be free. So I will start again!

Dd (14 nearly and beautiful )is heavy (5 ft 3 and 10 stone ish - she wont tell me exactly - she has always been solid - at birth they were concerned about the size of her tummy - it's a battle I have tried to counter with stealth and positivity....but somehow it shows more now she's nearly as tall as me) and wants to start an exercise plan with me tomorrow. She eats really healthily - but then also eats junk with her friends on top of everything else...

androbbob · 03/04/2011 21:51

Happy Mothers Day one and All!

wizzler - liking the carrier bag idea - may try that tomorrow - sounds like a good motivational tool!

wynken - wow like wow - that is such a milestone (or millstone from around you!!) to reach - you have done sooooo well! (pats on back!)

piffle - will you plan all my food for me too! Kiddies are off for two weeks and I am off three days each week - nightmare! Getting new windows tomorrow so have to stay in for a few days!

littlefish - pud is ok today - apparently it is PP free today only! Grin

blondes - are you up for a loss this week hey?

Did ok today - went swimming - well bobbed around as DS wouldnt come in water - was his idea to go (DD on lesson) so not really exercise. Been taking down blinds and curtains though. Shared a plate of apple and pear with DS as a snack - was yum!

Salad and chilli for tea - in a pan 'fried' wrap - was lovely!

So to end the day - all have a Wine or Brew in celebration! Tomorrow is another day!

androbbob · 03/04/2011 21:54

sorry froot - missed yours there - hope the choc disease in your house doesnt end up in your tum - its good to share you know! Generously share!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/04/2011 22:30

Willabywallaby · 04/04/2011 07:37

Morning! Grin

NoWayNoHow · 04/04/2011 07:53

Howdy all! Just had my (in)famous peanut butter, honey and cheese on toast for breakfast! 7 pp! Yum.

What are well all doing today? I shall be spring cleaning our house as it's a bomb site quite untidy. And some more job-hunting. Sigh. Uberly depressed.

Massive fight with sister bringing me down, not helped by her being thousands of miles away and away from phone lines, so trying to have fight by email. WARNING: tone can be implied but not intended! Things can get blown out of proportion! Everyone can say very horrible things to each other and have them preserved for all posterity in writing! Not pleasant...

Piffle · 04/04/2011 08:19

Organised means spending much less money :)
And not resorting to unhealthy choices...
Impressed as all our dinners, kids lunches (4,8 and 17) and DH's WW lunch all our usual bits for £73
Not bad going
Well had to weigh pup today for her meds wohoo STS over the weekend!!
And pup now finished meds!
No more midweek weighing needed!
Back later hope everyone is on form and ok?
Your spat with sis sounds stressy nwnh?

NoWayNoHow · 04/04/2011 08:25

Very stressy, piffle - she opened a can of worms and is now upset because the worms are crawling all over the place!

She sent a very insensitive and (imo) selfish email, so I replied quite harshly with a lot of home truths (but probably not put across the best way, if I'm honest) - instead of replying to me, she's replied to my mum and said some really rather unpleasant things about me too. Mum thankfully backing me up as original email involved her too, but suggesting peace and love as the way forward, so just waiting to hear what her response is to that email.

Feel a bit sick about it all, we're very close and I hate the idea of something like this coming between us Sad

Willabywallaby · 04/04/2011 08:59

NoWay sounds like a pants way to start the week, hope it improves.

I'm here by the phone waiting til 9am when I can book DS2 into some swimming lessons. Then off to garage with 2 boys in tow, and then playground by the beach and cuppa with friend. Might try and get them some sandals this afternoon.

Looks like it's nearly 9!!

Willabywallaby · 04/04/2011 09:07

On hold.....

With regards WW today will hopefully be sticking to it!

NoWayNoHow · 04/04/2011 09:15

willaby I really need to get DS into some swimming lessons - he loves the water, really confident in it, but I need someone to teach him how to actually swim properly. I learnt when I was 3, which is how old he is now, but they don't seem to teach it here in groups until they're 4, and private lessons are about £15 a week!

Rip Off Britain!! Grin

Anybody WI today?

debs39 · 04/04/2011 09:32

The posts this weekend have been so funny...the battles we face when coping with chocolate and meals / nights out......we are all quite quite mad!!! :)
Good luck for this week, everyone! Am going to try and take nwnh's lead and do some cooking for me this week..........will prob fail miserably though ( am by myself so not the same cooking and faffing on just for me ) :( plus - cooking means more dishes ha ha and I try to keep unnecessary housework down to the bare minimum ! )
