hmc congrats that's amazing!

debs39 · 30/03/2011 21:27

Have done in the crackerbreads ha ha whilst i waited for my tesco ding meal to cook :) Now feel like I have no skin on roof of my mouth though ha ha serves me right for shovelling in as many crackerbreads as possible in 8mins ( time it took for ding meal in microwave!!!!)

ShouldersBackAndNoBiscuits · 30/03/2011 22:10

well done hmc that's a fantastic total loss!

was it you noway who had her first rich toffee bar? They are my new favourite snack. Everytime I eat one I think 'how can this possibly be only 2 points?' Grin

for blondes
stats
weight loss 2.5lb
total weight loss 32.5lb
points eaten 29 dailies
2 breast feeding points eaten
about 15 weeklies eaten (I think, but guess work on the posh meal out!)

debs how many did you eat - is there a record do you think?

NoWayNoHow · 30/03/2011 22:12

Yes, shoulders, it was me - my mate gave me one when I went to her house (I can't get them cos I don't go to meeting anymore). They're the best thing since sliced bread sugar free jelly.

Willabywallaby · 30/03/2011 22:21

Evening all, 0.5lb loss for me this eve, slow and steady.

Leader noticed I don't have a goal, so set it at my 10% for now, only 5lbs off it but only lost 10lbs so far. I want to be a size 12 but think I need to lose even more to stand a chance. I'm 10lb 2 now which is less than I've been for a good few years, I think it may need at least another half stone to have any chance of squeezing into a 12. I have big boobs but smallish upper body and carry all my weight on my hips/bum/thighs. Going to keep plodding on!

androbbob · 30/03/2011 23:21

Ready for bed but a quick 'hello'!

Well done to Mrskb, sparke, noway, LFsusan, tilly, loubou, wizzler, shoulders, willaby, hmc and a special well done to littlefish for such a minor gain while away at the weekend!

Some good losses this week - totals 18.5lbs so far!

Me - well I am reporting a 1lb loss which is great as out of routine last weekend.

I do agree with hmc with the low carb and plenty of activity. That combined with accurate tracking is the key.

Just booked a break to Center Parcs next March wih friends - they are all skinny (except one who is 6 months pg but is usually trim!) so if I am to appear in a cossie I will need to lose these next couple of stones! Plenty of time hey!

My running training for the 5K is going ok - following the plan and on week 4 of 9 - running for a total of 16 minutes over the 30 min session - still not upto 5K yet - only managed 3.57K in that time, so need to lose the walking time and up the running - breathing is getting easier though!

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/03/2011 23:26

hmc 'through gritted teeth' well done on fab loss Envy

androb well done on loss :)

debs EAT WOMAN!!!! you can not survive on that, your body will think its being starved and you wont lose weight

willa well done on 1/2lb-it all adds up!!!

NoWayNoHow · 30/03/2011 23:29

willaby and andro well done on your losses!

vnmum · 31/03/2011 08:16

well done willa and androbob.

androbbob i had just finished run 2 of week 5 of the c25K plan which was 2 x 8min runs with a 5 min walk and was just about to do the last run which was a 20 min run when i got yet another cold that has turned into a chesty cough because of my asthma so i've not been able to run for 2 weeks.

I STS this week which is better than a gain after my domino's.

good luck to any others weighing in today

CLB1 · 31/03/2011 08:39

Well done everyone on your losses.

I'm having a mid week slump, and feeling quite down. I made the mistake of stepping on my scales before my WI on Sunday and haven't lost a sausage, in fact on my scales I've put on 1/2lb :( (I do WI on my scales a well as the meeting ones)
I have 10 weeklies left but haven't managed to fit in any exercise apart from house cleaning and food shopping.

I'm trying not to sabotage my eating, I'm going to point up a bacon sandwich with egg mmmm hopefully that will cheer me up.

How's everyone else doing this week?

CLB1 · 31/03/2011 08:44

2 slices of WW bread, 2 radiate of fat trimmed bacon, 1 poached egg and a hash brown with brown sauce = 11pp
Think this will definitely cheer me up Grin

CLB1 · 31/03/2011 08:45

Rashers*

NoWayNoHow · 31/03/2011 08:54

vnmum a sts post Dominos is a result!

CLB1 run and hide before blondes comes on and sees that you weighed before WI day! You're in big trouble Grin

In all seriousness, all you've done by weighing now is bring yourself down, discourage yourself and make yourself want to jack it in. Our bodies fluctuate all day, every day according to hundreds of different factors - that is why it is very, very important that you ONLY weigh once a week, at the same time, in the same place. Anything else is just mentally damaging your progress.

CLB1 · 31/03/2011 09:34

I know Noway I know I shouldn't, I just can't help myself. I'm sorry Blondes, I'm going to get DH to hide the scales so I cant do it again. On the plus side my bacon, egg and hash brown sandwich was loverly :)

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/03/2011 09:35

clb1 indeed run very fast - NEVER weigh more than once at your wi time - it will always depress you, either you sts/gain and you think wtf, or you see a lb loss and get happy then eat more, so come wi time you may sts

plus the obvious fact that all scales weigh different!!!

i had a bit of unwelcome shitty news yesterday eve :( and appetite went, forced myself to eat some cereal just now for breakie, but dont feel hungry but know i need to eat

Piffle · 31/03/2011 09:55

I don't find mid week weighing demoralising. I find it galvanises my resolve or praises and affirms my effort so far.

WI tomorrow though lol so we shall see!

Today
All bran banana semi skim 4pp
Lunch veg pot muller rice 14pp
Dinner Chicken sag WW recipe, rice 9 pp
Evening walk for total today of 4 activity pp

28 weeklies left not using them

NoWayNoHow · 31/03/2011 10:32

blondes are you okay?

ClaireDeLoon · 31/03/2011 11:03

hello been feeling abit rough for last few days so not been online and missed pages - sorry will not even try to ctach up. But for those who have lost well done, for those who sts or gained big commiserations.

Blondes what's up?

I went to weigh in today (should be a weds but she does two drop in weigh ins so can go to either, it's express so no post weigh in chat etc). Lost 1lb so that makes it my first (of many) stone lost.

vnmum · 31/03/2011 12:01

well done claire on getting your first stone award

Is everything ok blondes?

debs39 · 31/03/2011 12:10

shoulders one became two became three became four...then half the plastic packet gone then one more then I can't be bothered to put rest in tupperware container so might as well finish them..........could've had 1.5 mars bars for points I used :( But at least it wasn't a tub of pringles!!!!!!! :)

ijordan121 · 31/03/2011 13:44

I am doing WW on-line as can't make it to meeting with 2 little ones. I get extra points as an EBF, but have lost over a stone now and my daily points have not automatically adjusted. I emailed WW who said that they should automatically adjust, and on this forum I have also been told that.
I thought that it might be best to manually adjust them, but does anyone know how many daily points you 'lose' when you go down from 12 stone 6 to 11 stone?

debs39 · 31/03/2011 13:53

IG121 hi...one of the others on here will be able to give you this info :)

NoWayNoHow · 31/03/2011 14:04

Hi ijordan - you may find that your points haven't automatically adjusted because you're now on the minimum you can be on (29 dailies + whatever points you get for EBF). Just a guess, though. How many dailies were you on before, and how may extra pp do you get for BF?

claire well done on your 1lb off!

ijordan121 · 31/03/2011 14:10

I was on 43 dailies, which I think includes 10 for BF.
I am really nervous about cutting points/not using all of my weeklies because I don't want to jeapordise my milk supply, so don't just want to guess.

ijordan121 · 31/03/2011 14:12

sorry NoWayNoHow that came out wrong - I mean that's why I'm nervous about guessing for myself and am asking for help.
